  1. Many are selling assets (East Herts my local council being one) few if any are buying them but there's always a chance
  2. In what context is a section 21 notice relevant here?
  3. I'd be surprised in this financial climate if the Council has the money to buy anything unless there's some possibility of today's equivalent of council housing being built on it
  4. The same four team tournament every week...it's a winner
  5. Indeed as mentioned elsewhere on this thread the "big hitters" may end up with only themselves to ride very soon.
  6. Adams senior won't do it he's confirmed it many times already, Wolves or nowt
  7. Isn't this fund being run by the supporters club not the speedway promotion? I think that any money raised should be held in escrow until they start the 2025 season, using it to pay off debts I don't feel is appropriate but that's up to the individual I guess
  8. No news at all, anything that might even be possible is many years away at best
  9. The only interview worth watching this season was Abi asking Hawkins about Sayfutdinov. She is ok in what is these days a low budget production Nicholls had never asked a searching question of anyone however like Louis he's very good on the technical side
  10. Swindon were fortunate to get permission, I know Wolves and Sheffield have attempted changes that would have involved taking up part of the centre green certainly in Sheffield 's case, but were refused..in the main greyhound landlords seem to be protective of that area. As you say too late for Brum now regardless
  11. In September is the interesting part, that could mean speedway vacating by the end of August, hopefully it means the end of September which should mean Brum are good to run
  12. Aren't brownfield sites Labour's no 1 target area?
  13. The Mildenhall owner confirms no championship speedway in 25 and the club is now up for sale
  14. It's all academic until the dogs declare and of course there's absolutely no guarantee that they'll do so early enough for Birmingham to avoid the previous team building dramas. Presumably Tolley must have a date in mind (of the AGM usually) by which time if he hasn't heard then he won't be able to declare for 25
  15. CVS won't work for anyone but himself, Adams isn't what Birmingham need either, they should go all out for Alun Rossiter if by some miracle they manage to run in 25
  16. Presumably if they are using the existing stand at Dunstall there won't be actually much to build bar the track, kennels etc. If permission is imminent then the question is how long is the build and will they build across the winter to be ready for spring 25, if they don't then Brum might at least get 2025
  17. Woffinden rode 6 league matches before the play offs.
  18. Interesting article on the BBC website re Dunstall Park https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3d9pnve3kgo
  19. Something to do with them needing to televise each track and they've not been to Ipswich apparently
  20. You need to declare your intention to run at the AGM so November usually
