Hopefully a change of environment and a whiff of northern air will bring some improvement. If not more changes might have to be made, other riders need to improve too
Can a club sack a rider and then put him back in the team without his permission? Is he not a free agent if sacked and would need to be signed again? Something similar happened with the Comets and James Wright, they sacked him, couldn't sign Piszc (I think) and James rode in the next meeting, very well too.
Lawson has been passing more this season. He had a good race with Kildeman with passing and repassing, finishing 2nd to PKs 3rd, he's usually a good gater too, should be a good meeting.
Remember Kevn as a Comet, he was good when he gated but don't think he did much passing. Unfortunately he seems to be on the downward path now. Can only see Jensen improving though, looks a good un.
Just got back from Berwick, good second half to the meeting and Jensen looks a good acquistion for Berwick. Nothing to do with Howarth leading a Comets 4-2 at the time but how can a referee wait 'til one lap has been completed and put the lights on for an unsatisfactory start? It would have looked strange if a rider had come off on bends 3 & 4 and an unsat start had been called with all 4 back. Also by letting riders race on full pelt he's putting them at risk of crashing and being injured. Hope both Mason and Bellago are ok for tomorrow.
