Kyle is now a Comet's asset, bought from Poole.
-
I think Rich should be appreciated more.

Surely I. O. W wouldn't be competing with Workington if there was 2 leagues.

Berwick and Plymouth are both in the Premier League so Ipswich wouldn't be travelling to either if they went Elite. I believe the fans would like meetings with Eastbourne and Lakeside again too. As always, time will tell.
-
I've noticed with Leicester and Ipswich the cost of travelling being given as a reason, it's along way for Ipswich and their fans to come up north, then there's no guarantee of a meeting with rain-offs. Leicester aren't near other Premier teams and in the Elite would have the Midlands derby matches, always good for business. If Somersets thinking the same then it's getting to North and South divisions thinking again, besides the existing Prem teams only Belle Vue could be classed as north, if Stoke could come back in, possibly, but they're only 60 odd mile from Birmingham. It does seem silly in such a struggling sport that Plymouth travel to Glasgow and vice versa, I just hope something good comes out of the AGM to get crowds up again. Edit..just seen the post linking Workington, surprises me but don't know.

Elsmere Port would be handy for Ritchie then, pity they closed

Thats why I suggested Sheff or Scunny, may be wrong but thinking he's from Scunthorpe area
-
You could be right, think Kilderrmand couldn't ride in the Cumberland Open on account of getting to Poland the next day
-
Cheers, I'd forgot about that, shouldn't have done cos Pizcsh couldn't come over here from Poland. Comets rider of the year, hoping...
-
Is Richie still going to ride PL, perhaps Sheffield or Scunthorpe or do you think he'll just go Elite? Hoping Rene stays here.

Come on Cookie! -
Has J Wright indicated he's riding again?
-
Yeh be great to have your No 1 back and (touch wood) he tends to stay safe.

CW had a good meeting again for Somerset last night, I think they'll try to keep him. I've got the impression that he wouldn't come back to the Comets anyway from posts on the Unofficial site. Alden seems unreliable and only returned to Berwick after Ricky's crash, he'd walked out elsewhere not long after signing saying he wasn't riding in Britain anymore. Vissing seems to have had a mixed season for Edinburgh, is it only 2 (or 3) yr since he did really well for Glasgow at DP. If Leicester go Elite, if it stays the same, both Kauko and Bjerre could be available, sadly Kauko seems past his best, a change of track could suit Bjerre and he'd have a fellow country man in the team if Rene stayed, more expense though. Would Kauko return now he's been nearer to airports? Robson prob ok, Newcastle, I think. Don't think Mellgren would move this far north from Rye House, could be wrong. I'd have Rusty back (and think he will be) and hope his away form could improve a bit, the sooner the points limit is known the better
-
Didn't know that, shame that the sport is losing a rider like him.
-
I think I read that they've accepted that he'll be leaving.
-
A rider who hasn't been mentioned is Micky Dyer who rode well for us early season, his average though has risen to 7.58 but would probably rise again. Ricky Wells (7.81) would a good signing too as he scores well away from home. Depends on this 'n' that though don't it.
-
Terrible, as if they don't have enough problems. Likewise I hope it's not the end of Glasgow.
-
Unfortunately only a full season counts, think its a 8 per cent deduction. He may not be fit but was hoping to be. Would be a risk.
-
This time last year Rich said he didn't want to ride for anyone else but Workngton but things can change, interesting time ahead. Think Rene and Kyle will be back and if Kenny Ingalls says he's fit they'll be a tricky decision to make

Well done Edinburgh and hope you beat Somerset if it's them. -
Suppose it is the bigger meeting for him, not good for Ipswich fans though. Speedway!! Good luck Rene.

Wells is in the Classic....May not mean a thing. Mason coming surely, a good dropper down would be good like Olly Allen but who.. Hard decisions ahead
