Hackney Rocket ,,Ben,s ankle is fully healed and hes raring to go,, unfortunatly at this time i believe nearly all suitable Premier League places are filled..
-
Thanks Hackney Rocket obviously Ben is keen for a Premier League place as well as giving his all for Kent He has around 4.30 average with bonus points at Premier level, gained with Rye House last season,,.Initially he will be making himself available for guest bookings as there are not many meetings to ride in during March and April at National level..Premier League promoters take note he is on good equipment and will give 110% for any club ....Premier or National guest bookings......

To keep the suspense going, i suspect if , and i do stress if,,Robert Lambert does sign ,????? he may well be the last to do so as the iceing on the cake.. The other big name being bandied about as a strong possibility is Steve Boxall who should be the best rider in the League, though on a high average,,? If he is commited with good equiptment, properly maintained.. you could say he would be to good for this league , we will see if it happens,, exciting prospects all round with Ben Morley, David Mason and Connor Coles already signed.... Though i am not sure on the figures. We may probably have to have two rookie 3 pointers completing the team, to comply with the points limit and it will be very important that these are the best available.. That team could well be challenging for honours,, I hope these signings do happen ?..Finally , very impressed with Nikko,s contribution to the cause so far,, they could do with him at Rye as well....
-
For any team looking for a 3 pointer they could take a look at Ben Morley he has invested heavily in a new engine and obtained an average with bonus points of around 4 .30 when riding for the Rockets last season... I know he is very keen to ride in the Premier League this season and will not be adversely effected by date clashes Any promoter wishing to contact Ben who will give 110% for them and can be contacted on email - Benjaminmorley19@hotmail.co.uk

Its so secret nobody seems to know what if anything he does do ?
-
It is the same old unco-ordinated lack of interest in the fans,,The man should do the job properly or let someone more capable take over there must be someone out there that could make a far better job of co-ordinating the National League...
-
It is to cold for mr Morrish to use his fingers on a typewriter right now, watch this space in the spring
-
no more jokes please
-
I wouldnt mind having James Cockle in the side he,s a good gater,,problem is with Boxall likely ? ,Morley , Mason and Coles all more than likely , would he fit in to the averages ,,whatever i hope james gets fixed up soon we need characters like him in speedway..
-
With Mr Morrish in charge again you cant expect to know whats going on,,Obviously no one else wants the job. Shame.!! And the 4s competition is a joke for the riders ,, if its still being run with the same ridiculous format ...
-
Your obviously on the ball Nikko well done..Lets hope the team is as well,, when its announced ?,, I worry about the availability of the lower order quality ,,There is one rider however, who if he signs would be sensational in that position,,?
-
With most teams being fairly evenly matched it could be the best seasons racing we have seen in the National League..,Bring it on ,and make sure you give your team the maximum support you can, so that this league can move up to another level,, support wise....
-
Thanks for the info Nikko it is good to have someone on the inside who is prepared to post on here and keep us all up to date on what is going on at Kent Speedway ,,,could you please put forward my suggestion of Colts ,as the nickname for the team ,,many thanks ,, Mr D .Rivers
-
Not much news coming out of Kent..hows the track coming on .? Have any riders been confirmed ,the rest of the league clubs are almost complete ,Be nice to here something positive ...
-
Not so young then ,,, why has he not been in a team last season?...has he had a bad injury that kept him sidelined....?
-
Well he must have been 15 at least when he rode 2yrs ago against Hackney so has to be at least 17 now i would imagine .. perhaps someone can tell us how old Connor really is,,,He wont be the only Rookie in the league this season and some will be younger good luck to them all
-
I some how doubt this would be getting of the ground without Lens imput..I also would imagine that in a couple of years the promotion would be looking to go Premier League if possible ,, so in the meantime be happy to have the Rye House connection to get things off the ground and with every ones support that seperate identity could become a reality,,It is no easy job in the present financial climate to get a new speedway venture off the ground It needs backing unconditionally and put aside preduces however small....Kent needs a succesfull Speedway be part of it...
-
. Greyhound p. I dont suggest we could fit all those riders in under the points limit at Kent .. But the right combination could work ..I agree the teams being assembled look a lot more evenly balanced this year which should make for an exciting season....
-
Who and why ?
-
As Parsloes has said Marc may not be ready to return yet ( Head injury ),,be ideal on his current false average,, has loads of potential... Mason has a long connection with Rye..Len seems to like one old hand in the side and if he wants to ride i guess he will be there ,,my only problem with David is his commitment to racing at some away tracks ,,will do a heat leader job at home ..If he is fully committed no problem ,,he is good in the pits with the younger riders ..I see Robert Lambert as the key signing (hopefully it may happen ??),,if this team is going to make an impact this season ...Regarding Steve Boxall again if he is fully commited and on decent machinary he would be the top rider in the league ..would probably come in on a high average though ,,so needs to be worth the gamble,,I will believe it when it happens ?? ..: Ben Morley a very smart gater and the new track should suit his smooth style,,, is looking to make the break through to Premier League sooner than later....Needs sponsors to help him do this,,if you can help in any way contact me on this forum ,,Finally Conor Coles made good progress last year ,and i would expect this to continue,, he has great potential..These riders with one or two good additions could win the league on what i have seen so far. on team building.... Good luck to this new venture in kent...
-
With the names already mentioned ie ,, Boxall ,,Morley,,Mason,,,Coles . And if we.Can we fit in Cockle ? or someone of his standard ,,hope so ,,and if we can get Lambert ..The million dollar question ?????... and another 3 pointer it would be a top 4 team ..And i feel would pull in the fans which are needed to make this a successfull venture
-
Mat could turn out to be the find of the season if other motor x converts are anything to go by,his credentials seem even better than some who have made the top grade already,,Good luck to him and the promotion i hope the fans up there get behind the team as the survival of Buxton is vital to the continuation of the National League...
-
Trevor rode a bit at Rye house a while ago and i would only consider him to be of reserve standard in this League on that form ..Maybe on good equipment there could be improvement, i hope so,, good luck to the lad....
