  1. Going by the majority of comments I've read on here & updates, seems Lynn were unlucky in the first 2 heats. Without those refereeing decisions you're looking at a 49-41 scoreline - that's nothing to be ashamed of!
  2. I'd prefer to congratulate a British rider doing well than call it criminal?
  3. There's no point in letting them go unless you have stronger riders coming in. Which riders not racing in GB want to come over?
  4. Also depends on how many fans come in, Mildenhall need a competitive team to survive. While they want riders to develop, it's more important the club survives. For Berwick it's more important to develop the riders so they can go to Glasgow & Workington lol!
  5. Problem with that is, what if Watson keeps in scoring 0 & there's Ben Rathbone waiting in the wings wanting a chance? Do they refuse to drop Watson because it's a development league, which also means Rathbone won't get to develop? Would they drop a 5 point Freeman for a 4 point Rathbone despite having 7 points to play with?
  6. Pretty close on my prediction & correctly called Morris struggling at 5!
  7. If this was unusual for Speedway I'd agree with you, but it's the norm. Ipswich have a facility for Riss, who's ridden one match, Wolves with Becker & Scunthorpe with Kennedy have facilities for riders who have ridden even less than Pedersen this year! So rather than calling this situation "embarrassing" I'd say it's "normal" (for British Speedway)
  8. Why, they have good guests , as allowed by the rules, so should be competitive
  9. Interesting that despite Sheffield's strong start to the season, four out of the five riders who have new averages have gone down (not by much though)!
  10. I'll go for Ipswich 49-41 King's Lynn The stars top 6 "should" have the beating of the Witches bottom 3, so could be close till heats 13&15.
  11. Two teams with no guests or r/r! Belle Vue 51 - 39 Leicester
  12. But if a rider is last in 90% of his races, he's not really "developing" is he?
  13. I'm sure when the first fit a 28 day facility they announced, they could apply for another 28 days once it finishes? Wether they are allowed is another question?
  14. Berwick are not out of the BSN yet, although it would take a miracle for them to qualify!
  15. Berwick have only ONE match in May, so there's not much to worry about just now!
  16. But would you be willing to pay double the admission fee so these riders can afford to give up one of their teams?
  17. Nearly a month? That's a short time in Speedway!
  18. Think I would have moved Harris to 5, can see Morris struggling there!
  19. I was just about to make a similar comment, Gundersen & Nielsen won 6 years in a row between them because they were lucky?
  20. It shows there is something wrong with the scoring system if the commentators don't know who ranks higher, it's unforgivable that the organisers can't work it out!
  21. The way Berwick's team was built it clearly weakens them using r/r for Knudsen. Nothing they can do about it though as it's their only option. Just need the top 4 to all be firing.
  22. If they knew in advance, I'm surprised they didn't try & race this match on another date as there's plenty spares. If it was late notice then I can understand not changing the fixture. However even with Knudsen Berwick were never going to claw back 16 points, so no harm in him missing this one.
