  1. I'll say no, as Josh Bates with a 5 point Prem average used up the same points as Jordan Palin who had never ridden!
  2. I believe all of Lynn's top 6 can up their aves. Don't see anyone who I think is on their way down.
  3. 1) King's Lynn 2) Sheffield 3) Peterborough 4) Ipswich 5) Wolverhampton 6) Belle Vue
  4. I think Lynn have a strong looking team & should be amoungst the favourites for the title! Worrall should score plenty from the reserve berth & whoever replaces him between Jorgensen & Kerr should do likewise! Lawson & Pickering showed they can score well in the top flight & Kildemand should up his average, because his 7.10 figure was achieved when the league was stronger. Jack Thomas is a good choice for RS in my view, so don't look weak there either! Well done to the Lynn management!
  5. I can only see positive things when it comes to this Sheffield team. Can't understand some comments about Cook being a "risk" 1) He's been signed as a 3rd heat leader not a number one, 2) there's two strong second strings behind him 3) Ignoring the above 2 points, I also expect him to up his average. I also disagree with any comments about Nielsen being a "risk" he's only on a 3.00 ave, so allows a strong top 5, plus Sheffield probably will have the strongest number 8 in case of injuries!
  6. Well currently it's: 1) Sheffield 2) Peterborough 3) Ipswich 4) King's Lynn 5) Wolverhampton 6) Belle Vue
  7. There's a few options Mulford, Ablitt, Hagon, either McGurk, but the stronger ones are based further south!
  8. I don't understand why some clubs are announcing from the bottom up! I would have thought it'd be better to do the opposite?
  9. Well Woffy's last ave at Wolves was just over 7, Zmarzlik was assessed at 5 when he rode for Birmingham & Madsen had a 6 ave when he last rode for Poole. So those 3 could fit lol!
  10. If there's gonna be a supporters Cup this year, why not make it an 8 man format to give the number 8's a minimum of 4 matches? Could use the Polish format (8 has no scheduled rides) or the 1993 British format with 6 riders & 2 reserves? It's often said fans don't turn up to non-league fixtures but giving 18 heats instead of 15, could help increase the crowds!
  11. I fear the opposite, can see plenty of riders without team places, while teams are filled with doubling up riders.
  12. Averaged 7.45/8.27 at home & 3.47/3.87 away in 2021. So would need to improve his away form to be pushing for top spot in 2022.
  13. Edinburgh won the league in 2015 with 2 x 3.5 riders at reserve!
  14. All 3 signings are very wise in my view, regardless of it appearing to be a Kent(ish) team!
  15. Mind you, the RS system was no better, 3* riders like Flint / Kemp / Bowtell allowed to guest for 1* riders who score nothing like Crang / Freeman!
  16. There's still plenty 4/5 averaged Brits without team places out there, so Newcastle can still be competitive hopefully, even if they can't get close to the 42.00 limit!
  17. Most important thing is Nielsen avoiding injury, second most important thing is Nielsen getting a new ave before any injury! I certainly hope the lad can have an injury free season!
  18. Just had the one season at Edinburgh! But most riders would prefer not to travel up North if they can avoid it!
  19. Wolves & KL haven't completed their sides, so can't award Ipswich the wooden spoon just yet lol!
  20. I feel for the Ipswich fans, of the 3 teams completed, theirs looks by far the weakest!
  21. But if Chris Holder drops .5 off his ave & Riss adds .5 to his ave, Holder is still the stronger rider!
  22. My point exactly, doesn't matter of they're top by a mile or in the bottom half, can still make the play-offs! So I think they'll make it!
