  1. With so much talk if lack of riders due to covid / Polish rules, isn't this the time for riders to stand up for themselves & support Speedway on the Island!
  2. If the top 16 riders in the NL rode at IoW what could the promotors do to them? Ban them? Good luck finding a guests as all the top riders will be banned! Would the fans then turn up for a team of 5 or 6 3.00 riders?
  3. When is the "sharp end if the season" with no play-offs wins in May are as valuable as wins in September!
  4. According to the new averages Luke Crang is the replacement for Flint!
  5. Goret's average can't go below 4.00 so I can't see Bowtell ending up in the top 5!
  6. I'd prefer the lowest averaged rider (in all leagues) to be at number 7. Look at the Peterborough vs Wolves TV match, Ostergaard & Andersen in heat 8, which is protected, but Palin meets the Masters / Nicol & Morris / Douglas pairings, which aren't protected? Protecting heat 8 is pointless if you don't have your weakest rider in it!
  7. Berwick Bullets only have 6 NL matches left, so Leon will get a lot more races for Wolves, even if only riding 3 times a match!
  8. The Bullets only have 6 matches left, so he'll get a lot more racing at Wolves!
  9. I disagree, if you're good enough for the Prem, don't need to be in the NL!
  10. I'm surprised Kent haven't gone for Ryan Kinsley, Len always liked to pick a team well under the points limit!
  11. I agree Clegg shouldn't be in a "development" league, but if it's legal, sign him up I say!
  12. That team would be above the points limit!
  13. I'd disagree, they were far stronger with guests, allowed to use 3* riders & can choose a "horses for courses" policy! Edit: just read they were told they had to make a change!
  14. I thought they already had 3 top heat leaders lol!
  15. I disagree, if a rising star is good enough to score double figures in every match, is it not good for their development to move up into the team & face tougher opposition?
  16. To me that looks like his 2019 Prem ave with his 2.5% reduction removed, he didn't ride till May 27th too late for the June cut-offs! It should be far simpler to understand what's going on than this!
  17. As Ellis hasn't got a new Prem ave for Sheffield yet (is still on his 2019 ave) I'd have thought he'd be signing on his 7.80 Champ ave from 2019?
  18. Danny Smith or Archie Freeman would he excellent replacements for the injured Sam McGurk!
  19. McGurk could always be reintroduced, as a 3.00 rider he could replace anyone in the team!
  20. What's the story with Fernando Garcia? When's he gonna get here?
  21. I think IOW qualify, but the BSPA would rather threaten to ban rising stars getting extra track time than encourage them!
  22. NL riders could do with 30 matches a year to improve but NL clubs (except Mildenhall) only want to race 12 matches a year!
  23. You certainly knew what you were talking about!
