  1. I think Lynn are stronger than Ipswich & don't expect anything other than a 3-0 win!
  2. After the loss against Sheffield, I feel my point is correct lol!
  3. After seeing Basso score paid 14 for Peterborough, Glasgow must be delighted with their new signing!
  4. 2022 Rolling Averages are calculated including 2019, 2021 and 2022 results to a maximum number of 20 matches (from Speedway GB website) BWD last rode in the Champ in 2018, won't doesn't have any previous matches to add for a rolling ave.
  5. BWD getting a lower ave won't help Newcastle though! They already built a team well below the points limit, so if they wanted to & the riders are available, could strengthen up the team anytime!
  6. Rules changed for this year, it's now 8 matches, doesn't matter how many home or away!
  7. I think Palin is very overated. Godfrey expects him to be a heat leader, but his away average was far lower than his home ave last year. Take him away from Belle Vue or Scunthorpe & he's effectively a reserve!
  8. Not wanting to sound cheeky, but how can you show the rest of the league that you are a good team, when you're clearly a very weak team?
  9. Which two riders would you have signed then? As Belle Vue have shown, there's not a lot of options out there!
  10. Didn't realise Newcastle were next to go to Leicester! Another 60+ score next week is likely!
  11. Richard Andrews 6.55 (Ply) Luke Crang 6.41 (Ber) Alex Spooner 6.40 (Mil) Nathan Ablitt 6.29 (BV) Danno Verge 5.56 (Ken) Tom Spencer 5.53 (Lei) Archie Freeman 3.00 (BV) Total 39.74
  12. Or when the bottom 6 are at home to the top 5!
  13. I'm starting to think Leicester will score 60+ most weeks now! Birmingham were weak without Ellis, but that was a full strength Scorpions side they thrashed!
  14. Top 2 are ok, both should average above 8. Expected Auty & Nielsen to average (6-7) as back up. Morris & Shanes (5.5) so would always have a good reserve, with a promising Pearson at 7, who seems the most likely of all the 4.00 newcomers to reach his ave.
  15. Now all teams are completed - my final predictions: 1) Poole 2) Glasgow 3) Leicester 4) Oxford 5) Redcar 6) Birmingham 7) Plymouth 8) Berwick 9) Edinburgh 10) Scunthorpe 11) Newcastle
  16. Belle Vue only have to race 2 home PJL fixtures, they won't be racing in even a quarter of the fixtures!
  17. Ipswich team seems stronger than I anticipated from the PJL
  18. I do think the two clubs with the weakest top riders Lynn & Peterborough will both make the play-offs.
  19. Someone has to be the weakest number 1, doesn't mean MPT is a bad rider. But considering 3 number ones are GP riders & Masters & Pickering (when Iversen leaves) have higher aves in both leagues - who else do you consider to be the weakest?
  20. How can you "not afford to wait" to be Champions you only need to finish 4th of 6 teams!
  21. Every team is different than last year, so Peterborough being Champions doesn't effect this year's predictions / stats!
