  1. It depends who your reserves are & who your opposition have at reserve to determine whether it's better to have your strongest reserve at 6 or 7! For example Newcastle were better off putting Freeman at 6 because he couldn't beat anybody & it gave Roynon easier rides to get more points. But with Glasgow Sedgmen or Nowak should've been strong enough to beat opposition second strings, so makes sense to put them at 6 & have Bailey at 7 to beat opposition reserves!
  2. Those aren't the final averages, ignoring the Eastbourne situation, after the "October" averages are published the "Final" averages should be published!
  3. I agree there is no reason to remove the Eastbourne matches from the rolling averages! Those matches were raced under the same rules as every other league match, apart from being unfair on Kennett upping his ave, it's also a lot simpler to just leave them in!
  4. I totally agree, not allowing another Friday track due to a possible lack of guests is rediculous! Imagine saying to a club "you can't ride on Fridays because I may need to use your riders for my team"
  5. Edinburgh 2022? Sam Masters 9.41 Craig Cook 8.69 Josh Pickering 8.34 Kye Thompson 5.51 James Sarjeant 4.16 Dan Gilkes 3.75 Jason Edwards 2.11 Total 41.97
  6. Why would a rider lose his licence, while allegations of him being bullied were being investigated?
  7. Team suggestion, if the points limit stays the same! Oxford 2022? Nathan Stoneman 8.22 Luke Crang 6.41 Connor Coles 5.84 Ryan T Daley 5.44 Jacob Clouting 3.00 Eli Meadows 3.00 Danny Smith 3.00 Total 34.91
  8. I'd certainly recommend any team with Nicholls in it!
  9. Heeps averaged 4.50 in 2021 matches only! So if he can reach a 5.10 ave, that's an improvement of 0.6, I'd say that's "doing well"
  10. Gotta agree here! I think if Heeps can keep a 5.1 ave he'll be doing well!
  11. Thoughts on this side? King's Lynn 2022? Jason Doyle 8.96 Richard Lawson 7.19 Craig Cook 6.98 Thomas Jorgensen 5.91 Lewis Kerr 5.59 Kasper Andersen 4.33 Connor Mountain RS Total 38.96
  12. It's hardly "drip feeding" yet as they've not announced anyone (apart from Lynn)
  13. Indeed a team with averages like: 8,8,6,6,6,6,2
  14. Sure as professional sportsman they should leave any personal issues aside & do what's best for the team!
  15. Only one club have signed any riders, so can't see how Cook is running out of options!
  16. As above, Danyon Hume is 4.88 with a 2.5% reduction. That's an unofficial average until the BSPL publish the averages!
  17. While Stoneman has never shown much promise at Champ level, he's only ridden 21 matches over 3 seasons, so not had much of a chance really!
  18. 8 races & 12 points is a 6.00 ave. Remove those matches & he'll have a higher ave! Unless the 2 new matches added onto the rolling aves were lower scores!
  19. I remember reading Worrall wanted away to learn another track! He felt he had mastered Armadale & needed a new challenge! Regardless the issue isn't Edinburgh dropping Worrall or Worrall leaving Edinburgh, it's the lack of communication in telling his former club he wasn't coming back!
  20. I don't see how Heeps is a gamble, he's only on a 4.95 ave, so fills a second string spot, if he signed on a 7.0 ave I'd agree a gamble!
  21. I don't think that would've been the case, it was well documented that there was a lack of riders due to Covid / Brexit / Polish rules. The main difference was the RS rule gave Danyon Hume a Champ spot (deservedly) & allowed for stronger guests at reserve (e.g Leon Flint replacing weaker riders)!
  22. If Etheridge moves up, another strong reserve will appear! While Berwick may be weaker in heats 13+15, they'd be stronger in heats 12+14!
  23. That would leave 4.7 available to replace Schlein
  24. I disagree, I think it's more important to be solid, so Etheridge starts at reserve!
