Not only can I not believe the cup draw has been changed, there was never an official announcement about the changes, did they hope no-one would notice!
-
Based on who they are rumoured to sign!
-
Of the completed teams I'll say second strongest (after Swindon)!
-
I don't think any team will be very far adrift! Don't think Sheffield look bad, but someone has to finish bottom!
-
Obvious choices for Challenge matches would be the Northern tracks they don't meet in NT, Belle Vue & Edinburgh, plus maybe a double header against both Kent teams?
-
But the two teams have different philosophies, Newcastle will want to increase their asset base for the future, but Cradley has no senior team so wanted to win!
-
I was surprised they chose to use a 3.00 asset of another club!
-
Yeah, the comments don't add up to announced rule changes!
-
My prediction till I change my mind again! 1st Swindon (best top 3) 2nd Belle Vue 3rd Wolves (solid look, even if under limit) 4th Peterborough 5th Ipswich 6th King's Lynn 7th Sheffield (weakest reserves)

Is Jordan Palin ready for Championship speedway?
szkocjasid replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
My point is he didn't have to face pairings like Nick Morris & Ellis Perks / Kyle Howarth & Ty Proctor / Charles Wright & Kasper Andersen /Michael P Toft & Jordan Stewart! -

That was a good guess of the Scunny team! -

Unless he is put at number 6 and after heat 2, has to race the 1+2 / 3+4 pairings each meeting! -

Chris Holder did two years at Championship level, Darcy Ward did one, Jason Crump did two years, Leigh Adams one! I guess it's what the rider feels is the right time to move up for him! -

As long as Simon Lambert gets the tougher number 6 team spot, Palin should be ok at number 7! -
Poole Pirates 2021

In some sports it'll make a bigger difference, but Speedway doesn't seem one of them! -

Are "normal" vehicles allowed to park in the showground where the "blue card" vehicles are no longer allowed to? If so that's discrimination surely? If no cars allowed - state that so it doesn't sound like they are just stopping disabled people's access! -

I don't know why people make such a fuss about who the team manager is, now you can only do one tac sub per meeting there's not much tactically they can do! Obviously they can try to motivate the riders in their own way, but you'd expect getting paid per point should have them motivated enough anyway! -
Ideally each round would have 3 sets of away fans attending, covering any rise in costs!
-
Not sure why the Championship reserves should get injured, but even if they do, there will be plenty of riders without a team place looking for spots!
-
Can't see a strong top three in that side!
-
Kemp spent the majority of last season as a second string for Sheffield, so should definitely raise his average at reserve for the Eagles!
-
Jason Pipe on FB confirmed there was no maximum ave for riders doubling down!
-
I read that as meaning a 6+ Championship rider can ride in NL with a 12.00 ave?

1. Nicki Pedersen 8.61 (She) 2. Jake Allen 5.56 (Ips) 3. Rasmus Jensen 7.86 (Swi) 4. Chris Harris 6.01 (Pet) 5. Craig Cook 7.59 (KL) 6. Ryan Douglas 4.66 (Wol) 7. Jye Etheridge 4.35 (BV) If you pick more than one rider per club, my team would look like this: 1. Jason Doyle 8.96 (Swi) 2. Steve Worrall 5.53 (BV) 3. Rasmus Jensen 7.86 (Swi) 4. Chris Harris 6.01 (Pet) 5. Troy Batchelor 8.82 (Swi) 6. Bradley W-Dean 5.47 (Pet) 7. Broc Nicol 4.00 (Wol)

Looking at Swindon last year, Lampart got banned by polish team, Wajknecht retired, Musielak was (temporarily) injured, Nielsen was (temporarily) injured! Since they brought Musielak back when he was fit but didn't bring Nielsen back - should that count as a transfer? Otherwise what's to stop a team using a free "injury transfer" for someone who may only be out for two weeks? Also have they decided how "retired / banned / withholding services" affects these transfer options?
