  1. If the current rules allow then yes bomber should be allowed to double up BUT to just simply let him double up because hes hit hard times then no he shouldn`t be allowed. The elite league needs scrapping and merging with the Premier League to make a bigger league where all riders can make a living.
  2. Bombers a victim of the SQUAD system that everybody keeps banging on about. Its virtually put him out of work !
  3. Thought it was a waste of time it was supposed to be a fans forum but only a handful of vetted questions asked even Morton looked fed up sighing several times. it was totally sanitised..
  4. Some great riding from Karlson to beat the Coventry reserves.
  5. The viewings much the same all round don`t worry you`ll have a good view. but you won`t be able to flit around from stand to stand if you`re not happy. When the Bees were there the dust blew towards the pits
  6. Don`t think that's correct am sure I read in the Speedway Star he was looking for a Premier League place
  7. My wife is a pensioner and on both visits the Robins and the Bees meetings the security staff have asked to look inside her handbag.
  8. Can`t argue with that Rob. I was basing my opinion from looking from the inside of the Grandstand through the turnstiles. I admit you`re right please accept my apology.
  9. It is the turnstiles that's where the queues were. the tickets don`t scan that easy and nobody knows how to do it PLUS the security people are looking in bags which holds things up..What difference does it make where you buy your tickets if when you get to the turnstiles theres a big queue as there was today...
  10. Thought it was a decent meeting its a pity the Bees didn`t get going earlier. It was a bigger crowd than the Swindon match we were sat on row D in the stand and there was no shade from the sun and I hadn`t brought my Ambre Solaire so when everybody had arrived we moved further back into a shaded part of the stand where plenty of seats were available. It was the same as the Swindon meeting big queues outside hence those that turned up on time had to sit and wait for those that turned up late. Buying your ticket online wont make a scrap of difference to the queues the problem lies with the turnstiles they are very slow.
  11. No you didn`t miss much. The track was saturated so riders were filled in.
  12. Plus it went with the blessing of CVS that he could ride at another team of Woffys choice
  13. In my opinion the Elite league will never be a success whilst there are so few teams in it , we need to get back to a much bigger league twelve minimum, It was much better in the British League days when a different visiting number one was on parade every week inter- mingled with an odd individual meeting here and there. In its current format it wont last much longer....
  14. From the video just released it seems I was wrong with my estimate of the number of fans in block E I thought it was half full at best but from the pictures it looks more like a quarter full.
  15. Might be wrong but don`t think theres any viewing area of the pits. I did look down over the grandstand wall you may catch a glimpse of a rider but that's all. Not much passing last night but Bombers pass on Nicholls was superb I bet he had a grin on his face when he went back to the pits.and then he bet him again which must have made his day Bomber would have had more but for Zagar taking him high upto the fence. Wasn`t impressed with Zagar his tactics seems to be to wait till the last bend before having a go. Once your in the grandstand you can`t roam around your pretty much there in the grandstand in your seat or in the food toilet area at the back. there were big queues at the toilets at half time. despite the racing starting late at 7-50 and a ten minute break we were on the road home all done and dusted at 9-50 so not a bad turn around. Swindon deserved there win, on last nights performance the ACES are going to lose a few at home. didn`t see a single person from another track apart from Wayne Scroggins, from what I saw the crowd were nearly all Aces fans...At a full capacity meeting I don't think there will be enough turnstiles. entry was slow with having to hand your ticket to security and then they were looking inside ladys handbags so not surprised it was a delayed start. Otherwise a superb facility and lets hope the Aces can keep it going..
  16. I was sat behind the starting gate on the back row M and could see all of the stand E It was at best half full.don`t know about the stand at the front of the start gate. I estimate the back straight stand to be half full.
  17. I agree but its not just about the Speedway its about a multi sports stadium that will never be replaced with its equal.
  18. Signed and shared. well done to MDMC for bringing it to everybodys attention..She`s` a credit to the BEES
  19. I feel sorry for the poor bloke he was tempted to buy something he might not have done because a carrot was dangled. BUT looking on the bright side he`ll know better next time. !
  20. No it doesn`t . Mick gave the inference that if you went to the storm meeting you would pay less than the rest of em.. everybody was under the impression that the full price was going to be charged so some went to the storm meeting in good faith only to find they had been duped...its not about the money its about the right way of going about a business and to me it leaves a sour taste..
  21. Its my opinion that Mick knew he was going to reduce the price but waited until the storm meeting had passed before making it known... Micks perfectly entitled to make any offer he wants but come on ! the existing offer hadn`t run out...
  22. If you went to the supermarket and bought a packet of soap powder and on that packet was a voucher for £5 off your next purchase of soap powder and then three days later you buy another packet of soap powder and hand in your voucher the cashier says sorry the powder has been reduced £5 so we cant accept your voucher what would you say...I think you would say the voucher was worthless...
  23. Would you be happy if you were given a money off voucher and then to find out at the tills it was worthless ?
