  1. Someone else posted the same card on the last page, you can print that off.
  2. Same here but I'm watching on my own, can't expect the wife to watch it just so I can charge her £7.50, she's never watched speedway in her life.
  3. Thanks for the reply, think I'll give it a go, have registered already, will heed your advice about the pre-event page and make sure I get sorted. As you say it should be a decent meeting, especially after last weekend's debacle.
  4. Am thinking of taking the stream for tonight, have others used Tapesup tv before, any good?
  5. Well I feel so fortunate to have been out with family today and had to miss the live screening, just caught up via the youtube link kindly provided by @racers and royals. Didn't have any prior knowledge of the outcome but feared the worst after watching the first few heats, luckily the showing was condensed to just under an hours viewing, must have been painful for those that sat through it live, even worse for those in the stadium. All in all a crap weekends speedway, only shining light was Dan Bewley winning the main event last night, such a shame that the edge is taken off that win by the people responsible for ensuring a decent racing surface is provided, not much to ask for considering they were guaranteed no rain.
  6. I can well imagine it would've been good to have been there, I probably would have come away saying the same as you, especially after the result, Dan's win was the big saver though, surely you'd agree on that. Truth is it came across on tv as an absolute shambles, there was almost no passing, the delays although inevitable were ridiculous. I do actually wish I'd gone just to see Dan's victory, what a proud night for him, such a lovely lad too, never see him lose his cool. Steve Shovlar posted earlier to say it was a worthwhile trip after seeing a Brit take the win, the atmosphere for the final sounded brilliant through the tv, you all made a proper racket, well done, glad you enjoyed it.
  7. If it wasn't for Bewley's performance I think you'd be hearing plenty of booing, those last 2 heats were a pathetic excuse for speedway, got to feel for the riders having to try and put on a show on that joke of a track. Hang your head in shame Phil Morris.
  8. Almost wishing I'd watched the Stretford rags get hammered instead, almost....
  9. Wow, he's not killed anyone. It was said the riders were in agreement with it, maybe some weren't but either way I wouldn't blame Ellis, even though I don't rate him that highly as rider, he won it last year though and, based on tonight's situation where it was impossible to call a winner, deserves the wildcard in my opinion.
  10. If they were to hang on half an hour the rain will probably have stopped, I'm 15miles west and it's stopped now.
  11. Good shout, just needs polka dots and it's Chris Pusey. Was just thinking to myself after watching ht5, this is so much like I remember Hyde Rd, takes me back.
  12. I'm in Northwich and it's heavy drizzle at the moment, certainly not heavy rain, yet.
  13. Bewley Harris Brennan, got a feeling about bomber, hope I'm right because that would mean we are in for a vintage performance, not many better sights than Harris when he's hitting the right notes.
  14. Would be great to see him get the spot, good servant to the sport.
  15. According to BBC there's less than 40% chance of it at 21.00hrs, rising to 50% by 22.00, for me it doesn't exactly feel like it's going to pour down, so maybe they'll get lucky even if it starts with drizzle.
