She's not there tonight, she round at Jeremy Corbyns having a moan, bet his mum doesn't know he's got a girl in his room. -

Think 2points might mean a run off, Ht 18 has both Pawlickis and Kildemand, something will have to give there.. Going to be tight I think.. -

That link is almost working but then freezes, unsure if anyone else has it working? Looks like a good crowd there, what a shame they couldn't show it live, even if only outside Russia. Anyway, tough start for Cookie but recovered to win his 2nd ride, keep it going Craig.. -

Really? You need to get out more Keith. -
I suspect that's down to the way they ride the bikes these days, on the edge of everything all the time, can't afford to be purposely close to anyone for fear of the bike taking off. That said I was very impressed with Woffinden's ride in the final, there's no doubt that he created the opening for Holder to get 3rd place and seal the win, he rode every bit of the track to try and mess up the Poles and eventually the opportunity came, really enjoyed that race.
-
Much appreciated, I had to miss the last 4 races last night so it was good to see the end, great ride from Woffinden in the final to keep both Poles busy and create an opening for Holder, team riding of the highest order. Not a bad meeting in the end, the more I see of Kai Huckenbeck the more I like, he's only 24 so has plenty of time to break into the GP series, I could see him cutting it if he got in, Smolinski's chance seems to have passed him by, shame because he's a great character. .
-
Exactly, time-wise that was one of the slickest run British league tv meetings I've ever seen. Obviously weather was a factor beforehand but the track was well prepared and it provided some good racing in the latter stages, all in all Somerset comes across as a well run club, there's nothing to dislike about them.
-
Surely his main role is to have a handle on the tactics, I mean he doesn't ride, so what else is there to do? He has made these sort of mistakes before yet still keeps popping up in management roles. I'm assuming he must be one who is prepared to do the job for nothing as any prospective employer would have to look at his record and would surely look elsewhere, must be monetary imo. Can't argue with that, they should have been able to run all 15 heats. On the whole it wasn't a bad meeting considering the general weather around today, much better than watching reruns of previous meetings.
-
Was wondering that myself, been around for years and generally all we ever see is him making bad calls, surely there are other candidates for these jobs, or maybe the pay is so bad that it's more a volunteer role than a job, either way he getting appointed.

Magic so close to having both wheels over the white, lap2 I think, 1st bend. I haven't got a rewind facility but it looked mighty close. edit, seen it again, nowhere near, new glasses for me.
-
Yes I know that thanks. Thanks.
-
Maybe I'm missing it but I only recall the commentators mentioning one of the tape warnings when it was issued, are they applied even after races have been run successfully?
-
Unreal decision there with Zagar, I know one has to go but he did nothing wrong there, if anything the Pole turned left, tough on Matej.
-
Probably not if you've been brought up on Tony Rickardsson winning year after year.
-
Can't argue with that, made a decent change to hear a different perspective.

Few to choose from here, WillsTaxi is the man for me but there's various styles. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=72860&page=22

No, hair was referring to Auty and his poor return on the night and you replied to say it's all about winning. Plenty think it's about racing, winning is a bonus. edit, just read the post above if you need further clarification. -

Never more obvious than watching last night, the place doesn't look like a speedway stadium any more, big high mesh fences everywhere and the lack of a centre green. Still, if that's what pays the bills then who can blame him. -

No, I never said he would definitely have passed Josh, just that he probably would have if Lambert hadn't held him up, that's all I said. If you watched the race then you will have seen quite clearly that he gained on Josh once he'd got clear of Lambert. You are in the right room for an argument but please pick someone else, I can't be bothered. -

Do you think that's why the attempted passes round the outside off bend 4 failed Sid? Each time they looked nailed on for a pass but for some reason just didn't manage it, strange one that.
