  1. Good to see Max Fricke getting stuck in, must need some strength to get round those bends, hopefully he'll be fully fit and flying next Monday.
  2. It is a cracking meeting but it's not because it's on a good track, quite the opposite really, it's like a rodeo but there's been plenty of excitement for us neutrals. Glad you feel lucky though.
  3. Of course it's racing, same for both teams even if it is a crap track, let's face it we know what the track will be like at Poole, it's not been any different for a couple of years at least. Cracking meeting.
  4. What a miserable looking bugger Jack Holder is, proper slapped ar$e, love it. Great meeting this, so much needle..
  5. This thread has provided today's guilty pleasure for me, I know I shouldn't but I find myself having to refresh every 15 minutes or so just to see who is getting closer to the ban hammer being introduced. I'd say it's a close run thing at the moment but it's definitely hotting up. Either way it has certainly whetted my appetite for tonight's meeting, here's hoping the all the hot air being spouted here helps to compensate for the rain that seems likely to fall. Bring it on!!
  6. No idea, I thought you must be a mod, now I realise you created it. Sod it, delete it..
  7. Why not just lock it anyway, there's nothing constructive being said by anyone, the topic meeting is done and dusted.
  8. I'm fairly sure both the 2nd legs are being shown, so alternate heats would be the format, a veritable feast of races for tv viewers.
  9. Adams has displayed that attitude for as long as he's been interviewed on tv, fair enough I suppose but to be that way he relies on being right all the time, for once he cocked up and made himself look a d!ck. Fair play to Tatum for putting him back in his box.
  10. Inspirational, Leon Madsen grew at least a foot taller during that speech.
  11. In for a penny in for a pound, why not bring back readers wives, there were some crackers in those 70's editions. As for Smolinski, I like it when he's included in a meeting, you never know what you will get with him and it's clear he doesn't mind mixing it with anyone on the track, as per Kildemand.
  12. Me too, some decent passing in a good few heats. Never seen the track before but am quite impressed, must be great to have both Nicholls & Harris to watch every week, both are spectacular when on song, throw Ben Barker & Stuart Robson into the mix and it makes for an exciting line up. Great crowd too, how much bigger is it than the usual home gate? No reason why plenty of them won't come back again @ full price (apart from the price) as they've been entertained tonight.
  13. Didn't sing God save the Queen though did he, not a proper Brit like Tai.
  14. Yep, can't believe Nigel didn't offer an apology to the viewers and explain what a high pressure job it is.
  15. Great night for Woffinden, perfect way to send out the message that he's still a force, well done Tai, brilliant win for Great Britain.
  16. Couple of rides later and normal service is resumed.
  17. Horrible crash in the second race, Pawlicki unlucky as I thought it looked like Emil's shoulder might have clipped his bars and caused Piotr to turn towards the fence. Either a shame to start the meeting like that, hope he recovers soon.
  18. Lambert proving to be the let down for KL tonight, surprised at that..
  19. She's not there tonight, she round at Jeremy Corbyns having a moan, bet his mum doesn't know he's got a girl in his room.
  20. Think 2points might mean a run off, Ht 18 has both Pawlickis and Kildemand, something will have to give there.. Going to be tight I think..
  21. That link is almost working but then freezes, unsure if anyone else has it working? Looks like a good crowd there, what a shame they couldn't show it live, even if only outside Russia. Anyway, tough start for Cookie but recovered to win his 2nd ride, keep it going Craig..
  22. I suspect that's down to the way they ride the bikes these days, on the edge of everything all the time, can't afford to be purposely close to anyone for fear of the bike taking off. That said I was very impressed with Woffinden's ride in the final, there's no doubt that he created the opening for Holder to get 3rd place and seal the win, he rode every bit of the track to try and mess up the Poles and eventually the opportunity came, really enjoyed that race.
