  1. Can't argue with the result but Tungate did what anyone would have done, even Kelvin.
  2. Great battling ride from Shanes there, showed real spirit.
  3. Champions League week, they show about 5 or more matches I hear.
  4. Agreed, to be fair it did look a bit wild in his first race but it got him out of the gate and round the first bend like a rocket, that's just what's needed @ Monmore.
  5. Cookie may have been better to leave well alone instead of making adjustments, ah well, Come on Aces..
  6. I'd say it's extremely difficult in terms of a speedway race. You're right it isn't great but at least we're getting 30 heats , mustn't grumble...
  7. Possibly but I've never heard Sami speak, Molby works well for me.. I expect all these Scandi types sound similar anyway..
  8. Has always come across as a really nice bloke, great sense of humour and I can't remember him ever giving a duff interview when having a mic thrust in his face during meetings. Tough rider though.. Great story that BW, can almost picture the scene and hear him saying it.
  9. There is no way you would learn how to operate a dirtometer in just a week. Other than that I'm all in favour, I'm guessing your pronunciation would be a little bit Jan Molby, I could live with that. Yep, as Ghostie says, bring it on!
  10. Anyone know which actual Polish channel it's on? I've got access to some of them, Nsport, PLtv etc but struggling to find it..
  11. Or riders deliberately trying to second guess the referee and getting it wrong. Just sayin.
  12. Exactly, they aren't supposed to move until they are released, so no excuses whatsoever. Nice mature ride from Max Fricke, well done lad..
  13. Cleancut sports cover plenty of meetings so must have all the gear, surely it wouldn't be difficult, with BT's agreement, to cover the 2nd semi from the NSS on Wednesday but have it streamed to somewhere with a facility to place a one-off charge of £3 or even £5 on anyone who wanted to watch it. I know there could potentially be legal issues around doing this but, assuming these can be overcome, it would be a guaranteed money spinner, no real loss to Belle Vue as the original staging was due for live transmission anyway.
  14. Was thinking that myself when I read the post, definite bit of pigeon-holing there marky boy..
  15. No not team riding as such, in fact they won't have the opportunity as they each meet Doyle in separate heats, they definitely have their own individual goals but to help out, say Dudek if he's going to be the challenger, will provide any extra incentive if required. Can't help thinking Doyle is holding back but who can blame him when he's within touching distance.
  16. I'm fairly sure I saw him ride in the U21 round there last year, it was a very wet night and tbh I can't remember how he, or anyone else, did on the night. Either way it doesn't seem to take anyone a full race in order to find a quick line.
  17. Doesn't seem much anticipation for this one, quiet thread. Just looking at the draw and mooching through the heats, I know Doyle has a nice 10 point lead but he will definitely be up against it, faces a Pole in all but one of his races, heat 14 when he's off gate 4 with Emil, Lindback & Vaculik lining up inside him. Obviously everyone is in it for themselves but surely as it gets closer to the series end the Poles will start to push for one of them to take the title, either way it should be a goodun.. 18. I agree with Grand Central, a fiver would be about right for the standard that B365 provided, as said it was just one camera, there was no commentary and you were lucky if you got to hear the track announcer giving out the riders names etc, didn't really matter though as it was free as long as you had money in your account. Memory fades but I'm fairly sure you could watch the whole meeting without even betting on it as long as your account held funds, whereas with horse or dog racing you have to bet on the actual race to view it. Have to assume they dropped it because too few of us laid bets, many preferring to just watch the free stream, can't blame them really I suppose. I'd be happy to pay a tenner to view the Semi final from the NSS next week, still can't see why someone isn't able to at least explore this option, plenty of football clubs do beam-backs these days, can't be that expensive. Wasn't Darcy Ward's return to Poole streamed live (or was it recorded?), if so I'm sure that didn't cost a lot.
  19. This all day long, a definite moneyspinner, it's not as though they even need a commentary team, just the feed showing the racing would suffice, of course Bt may well object and that could put the block on it but either way it has to be worth a look at. They could just hire Cleancut sports to present it and stream it, I'd be happy to pay a couple of quid for that, a fiver is not out of the question really for this sort of quality; http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.33288
  20. Champions League versus Speedway, no contest in terms of where BT will be I'm afraid. It is a sickener though.
  21. Zagar made Tai look like a novice there, so much speed..
