  1. As an example, the last train to Crewe (generally a decent hub for all North West) leaves Cardiff just before 9pm, into Crewe just before midnight, which is a bit late for many connections. So an earlier start would definitely introduce the option of rail for these such supporters, I'd definitely consider it, being safe in the knowledge that I'm going to get home that night. Only about £50 return and could be a lot less if bought at the right time.
  2. I didn't notice that but I think Suzi was all over the place at times, possibly being 'outdoors' didn't help as the noise from airhorns etc must be off-putting, even for the most seasoned of presenters. As for the commentary, it seemed as though their mikes were turned down a notch last night, much easier on the ear even when there was something exciting happening.
  3. The point is the crowd clearly appreciated his gesture and they are the ones who shelled out good money for the meeting, so what's the problem? Honestly, do you really believe he was wrong to take half a minute to show his appreciation for the support? It looked to me like there were 30 or 40,000 who thought it was fine, that's what counts really.
  4. Grow up ffs, it's fairly obvious that nobody would have gone and invited Tai out onto the track, it was a spontaneous gesture I'm sure, no malice or forethought, just a decent gesture.
  5. Lap of honour is one way of describing it, another way would be to say he was thanking the fans for all the support he's had tonight, gracious in defeat maybe.
  6. Agreed, I was only listening too, complete hash, she was moaning earlier though, something about having the horn..
  7. Cookie was well on the pace there but had no idea how to deal with the attacks from all angles, welcome to GP speedway Craig.
  8. Somebody tell Suzi that a wolf isn't a feline...
  9. How anyone can try and call a meeting dross after 3 heats I'll never know. Had it shoved right down their throats by Zagar there, fortune favoured the brave and he deserved that, well done Matej. edit, tbh I wasn't referring to the troll, more pirate oliver, what a stupid statement.
  10. Really looking forward to this, great to see Woffy flying the flag for Britain on his parade lap, didn't notice any other riders take their flags round.
  11. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.
  12. You're well entitled to moan mate, have sent you a pm, good luck.
  13. Well I know you can download from youtube, so I imagine you would then be able to burn to disc. I can't remember exactly how I did it but it started with something like this, https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/video-converter I'm fairly useless with techy stuff but even I managed it fairly quickly once I'd sussed it.
  14. Anyone else not seeing any caravans? Just a Brisca graphic showing for me.. Great commentary though
  15. If you've not managed to offload her yet I might be prepared to step in, any chance of a photo?
  16. I'd say the Leicester track is 10 times better than it was based on what I've seen tonight. Perhaps further changes are planned as and when they've properly assessed what they've done so far, there seems ample room to do whatever it takes to make it a really good racetrack. Decent looking crowd as well tonight, comes across well on the telly, hopefully they will tempt a few back at full price, definitely good value for money tonight.
  17. Would be nice to see Riss get a win and put that crash behind him.
  18. 3 races to go and this has already been a decent night of speedway as far as I'm concerned, yes it's been patchy but on the whole it's been good entertainment. Edit, 2 to go and it's up for grabs, can't grumble at that.
  19. I disagree, Riss didn't cause the Pole to crash, he just left whoever was behind him the choice of going round him if he wanted to pass, happens plenty of times, just a shame he didn't know it was his team mate.
  20. I thought it was a legitimate move had it been an opposition rider, he certainly didn't 'fence' him, just took him wide, the outcome was unfortunate, hope he's ok.
  21. BWD very tenacious ride there and unlucky not to get 2 points. Decent meeting this.
  22. Seen more passing here tonight than all previous tv meetings I've seen over the last few years, fair play to them for making the much needed changes, shame it took so long and they lost momentum in terms of building crowds.
  23. As for the NZer maximum question, would never have got that, was thinking Larry Ross. Anyway, on first viewing it seems they've improved the dimensions of the track, hopefully the racing will improve over time. Shocking camera work on that Belego pass, very poor.
