Huckenbeck is a decent rider, I like watching him whenever he's in the Euros/pairs, always has plenty of speed and is gutsy too. As a nation of course we should beat Germany at speedway but they will always give us a go in something like pairs. Well there you go, he panned the Swedes there too.
-
2 well established German riders though, no shame in that. Keep the faith.
-
Much more economical rider though eh, Zmarzlik travels an extra quarter of a lap in most of his races, brilliant rider though.

Tried to jump it and got left.

Nice one, I did have it on but there was no speedway on it, there is now and, as you say, cracking picture.

Indeed, very healthy looking numbers. Thanks for the links, I'm watching on the wizja one and it seems fine. Ah they didn't update the names, Cookie still in there according to graphics.

Thanks, looks a great line up, wonder if anyone will be doing a racecard:) The last time I watched a World Games speedway meeting was this cracker https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIGbKOl_08g Cowboy Cook was the star of the show in his grey overalls. I was sure it was on a weekday afternoon as not many will have got to see it, naturally I thought of Thursday as it was held at Wimbledon, anyway whilst checking that out I came across this little gem, https://app.box.com/s/5s7ggxs7156pfo0ww77n/1/536055648/5165045752/1 Been posted here before but worth a repeat for those who haven't had a look. I spent a minute or 2 looking at the action photo in that link, couldn't decide who it was, my guess is Michanek & PC, maybe the Wembley run-off, just guessing though. Anyway, it was a Tuesday.

No, his mum answered, said he's grounded after Cardiff.

Oh hang on I'll just give him a quick bell and ask him for precise details, maybe he can scan me a copy of the doctor's certificate, brb...

Surely Ermolenko is worth a punt, I would somehow cope if he became unavailable for commentary based work due to riding. -
Can be done quite easily in 10 minutes with no heavy traffic and you should be ok after 7pm, same route as mentioned, Regent Rd & Mancunian Way.

Thanks for that, was all set up to watch the Piraterna meeting last night but fell asleep just before it started, didn't wake up til 7.30 this morning, must have needed it. Was a decent meeting too, cheers. -
I guess that rules you out on all counts then.
-
At least it's not the other lot that are just over the road, anyway the Etihad is behind the 3/4th bend not the pits end Nige.
-
Same here, very reminiscent, in fact Soren Bewley is doing the business..

Apologies, the stream's just come on. Reason I thought it wasn't working was due to the fact it said 9 minutes in already. Anyway, seems all's good to go -

Have tried the youtube link for this but it looks as though it's not being shown live. -
As an example, the last train to Crewe (generally a decent hub for all North West) leaves Cardiff just before 9pm, into Crewe just before midnight, which is a bit late for many connections. So an earlier start would definitely introduce the option of rail for these such supporters, I'd definitely consider it, being safe in the knowledge that I'm going to get home that night. Only about £50 return and could be a lot less if bought at the right time.

I didn't notice that but I think Suzi was all over the place at times, possibly being 'outdoors' didn't help as the noise from airhorns etc must be off-putting, even for the most seasoned of presenters. As for the commentary, it seemed as though their mikes were turned down a notch last night, much easier on the ear even when there was something exciting happening.
-
The point is the crowd clearly appreciated his gesture and they are the ones who shelled out good money for the meeting, so what's the problem? Honestly, do you really believe he was wrong to take half a minute to show his appreciation for the support? It looked to me like there were 30 or 40,000 who thought it was fine, that's what counts really.
-
Grow up ffs, it's fairly obvious that nobody would have gone and invited Tai out onto the track, it was a spontaneous gesture I'm sure, no malice or forethought, just a decent gesture.
-
Lap of honour is one way of describing it, another way would be to say he was thanking the fans for all the support he's had tonight, gracious in defeat maybe.
