  1. I originally thought on the first view that Roynon had hit a rut but no he looks back sees Nielson and clouts him. Thats the simple truth but only Adam knows what happened I would say.
  2. Sus? Out of order I would say, from the vantage point of the video which of course the Ref wouldn't have had the benefit of until the replay. I am no fan of Stefan Nielson mainly because of his hystrionics on track when he falls off. He is a good rider and probably is the next Nicki Pederson, who I am a fan of, in character but Roynon new exactly what he was doing I suppose he just hoped to kill Stefans momentum as at some point Nielson was going to get passed Morris who seem to be struggling for speed as Roynon was clearly trying to stay with him. It was a ht where all was to play for all or nothing so I think the outcome was fair in the end. Thats not to say that if Perry had been fit we would probably congratulating Dudley now Oh and Team Managers shouldn't go near the Ref till a decision is made and then appeal!!!!!! A Neutral
  3. I think this cheering when riders come off has been blown out of all proportion. I myself have felt a little boosted when an opposition rider has fallen at Leicester not because he has fallen it is almost an automatic reaction but clearly not if serious injury is suspected and immediatley apparent but because the Lions will be handed a point, and as we know points mean prizes and the point could be a crucial one, For the same reason It is inneviatble that the fallen rider's fans will feel agreaved specially if the rider is in the lead or second. I wouldn't make too much of it I think it is just part of the sport. Like staying down and all the other foibles of the sport.!!!!!!! On serious falls and crashes I have only ever heard a collective gasp around the stadium. As we know a serious crash can lead to the rider going out and winning the rerun and a rider that just appears to slide off can be seriously injured so the seriousness of the fall is always going to be difficult to gauge.
  4. To be fair it was forecast to rain at 9 and rain at 9 it did so there was no option but to get on with it !!!
  5. I don't swing either way tbh just saying as I see it. Maybe if I was a Dudley or a Mildenhall suporter it would all be a lot clearer. Just seems that Mildenhall wanted to hedge their bets between GI and JB. or they would have declared JB in time and no 'amiguity'. You telling me that someone of Lee and Louise' experience can't read speedway rules. PS JB should be allowed to ride if the rules say he can
  6. Could our Rebel friends asdvise What is the likelyhood of this meeting going ahead? Weatherwise :-)
  7. Blimey that didn't take you long. I see it as them looking to see if there was anyway round the rule ...........
  8. I don't know why they just don't do away with rules in the NL as everyone seems to agree to rules at the beginning of the season and then just spend the rest of the season breaking them bending them or stretching them. One of the sports brightest stars should be allowed to ride just isn't a defence, if a rule has been broken. The pure fact that they were riniging the NL coordinator in the first place to seek clarification indicates that they knew the rules prevented this facility anyway.
  9. Leicester during the MDLRC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/speedway/19751135
  10. Check out the crowd and some of the action http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/speedway/19751135
  11. Well done Kelvin for highlighting that there were more riders in the field and it wasn't just the Dan Greenwood show. I to am over the moon for Liam mind you with Dan Lowe and Simon Lambert as his pit crew. Could he fail?. . Dan has made good progress this year and he was always going to do well in the meeting but the improvement Liam has made this year is stagerring.possibly due to him having a good run out in the NL and gaining in confidence by the meeting.
  12. Thats for another thread this one is for conspiracy theories and general moaning only don't hijack it
  13. and I quote "I was told by someone much closer to the situation". Says different i'm affraid
  14. To be honest there are so many vendetas, so much baggage and so many hang ups at leicester I wouldn't quote anything unless it comes from the horses mouth.
  15. To be fair the PL didn't have PO's last season they had an odd end to the season. JG was also in for the Colts from Leicester although he got injured. these PL teams this season have Po's so it is different story all together. Maybe NL should go straight to League champions if the PL are going to have Po's involving 6 teams cos the likelyhood of NL riders of the top NL clubs being involved are quite high.
  16. Sorry just hate to see the lads get caught in the crossfire
  17. can see your frustrations with Robert72 but don't take it out on the lads by degrading their event there is nothing wrong with the MDLRC and i'm sure they will do their very best to entertain whoever turns up to watch them
  18. Which is how I imagine most riders feel who visit the IOW, which for any rider from midlands north can be a 15 hour journey (10 travelling) for 4 mins racing and on occasions very few points.
  19. Who is Tracey????. Lets just see what happens in the winter eh???
  20. Yawn!!!!!!!!!!! change the record plllleeaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
  21. I don't know any rider who thinks like that! I think it has got more to do with the fact thei he has been able to go about his business quietly and at his own pace as opposed to the bells and whistles press releases trying to build him up too early and having nothing to live up to.
  22. This may answer your question. It was posted after the IOW v Buxton meeting
