  1. Clouting has to be at reserve alongside an unattached rider. Mulford is still injured as far as I’m aware.
  2. Yes I do too but I can see why Mildenhall chose to sign their former rider.
  3. Kinsley is one of those riders with a huge home average compared to his away average. He knows West Row and will do perfectly well there.
  4. So a precedent has been set today that you cannot sign a NL rider, as a Championship team, when he has the same race night as you. Tbf this is also following the Cook Peterborough/Belle Vue scenario from the other season.
  5. Unlike in this scenario, a precedent has been set today with the BSPA refusing Wallinger’s move to Redcar
  6. How does Wallinger keep getting so many clubs signing him?! When will they learn he’s unreliable and doesn’t even score points. Barely any in the Championship and on a 4pt NL average!
  7. Yep I remember the Wilson incident. He then had a PL average of over 4.00 which was too high to allow him to DU but he was allowed to ride NL only at the start of the season! The rules changed because of it. All riders who are missing because of higher leagues clashes can be covered by a ‘guest’. This was brought in about 2 winters ago. Yes and that was early in the season too, in about April time, when all the decent riders had been signed up and how the Warriors set the team up it looked like Greaves would be a big improved. Which he was that season! I’m all for riders stepping up but it should be compulsory that they cannot sign for a team with the same race night.
  8. But is that fair midseason on the team he’s forced out of? Using Perks as the example, it’s not Leicester Cubs’ fault that he’s picked up a top flight spot and all the number 1s are signed by now.
  9. Follow my Twitter instead Seriously though, best wishes to Danny and so unfortunate after having such an excellent season!
  10. Irreplaceable in terms of entertainment.
  11. It’s R/R. Very unfortunate but 2 of his rides can be taken by Morley & Campos.
  12. It seems a very convenient use of ‘unavailable’ for Brooks when they can use Stoneman. Brooks rides the night after down in Plymouth too.
  13. Wallinger didn’t need last long! Jenkins is making a big commitment now though cos he’ll want a 2.00 average for next season so can’t score that many
  14. Yep! Gilkes should be fit and they could even tempt Ablitt to change his mind by then in meetings that don’t affect his average!
  15. So that reads that a 2.something rider can ‘guest’! But seeing as the rule change was never announced I wonder if they’ve just forgot to update this bit in the regs to 2.00 from 3.00 when the new minimum average came out. Also point G suggests that Leek could cover for someone in the main body with a lower average than him because it clearly should now say 2.00.
  16. I don’t remember reading it when the regs were published online.
  17. Gilkes now ruled out. This has to be an away win now.
  18. If that new rule has been brought in unannounced, no other club has used it yet.
  19. Yep new super strong reserves for the Cubs against a depleted Kings. It’s going to be a difficult meeting for Kent!
  20. Only unattached riders with a 2.00 can come in at reserve to ‘guest’ or ‘replace’ a rider, whatever term you want to use. Leek has a 2.86 average which makes him ineligible.
