  1. He was given a chance when 2 other preferred riders were unavailable. He was allowed one meeting to attempt to prove surely, rather than using someone unattached to the club.
  2. You obviously missed my sarcasm 😉
  3. Fair play to Jason Pipe for a detailed and honest explanation of events.
  4. Yeah true. I'm not saying it's not harsh on Kelsey, but I think he and others understand the move to strengthen the team.
  5. A good move for the club and Kelsey has spoken about quitting over the past week anyway so I'm assuming it's amicable. Plus he's still going to ride in the challenge and individual fixtures at Smallbrook this season.
  6. Yeah, surely the majority were already there and were just getting frustrated/bored.
  7. Taylor seriously strengthens the Brummies and they're not out of the play-off race by any means.
  8. On July 1st, Hurry will finally get his 11 point average 😉
  9. Yeah Williamson was a massive loss. Buxton lost by 14 and Williamson could have scored 12 from 5 (8 more than Bickley so a 16 point swing), to give Buxton the win. But you can only beat what's in front of you!
  10. Yeah that too. You can't blame the promotion for not attempting to strengthen up.
  11. Who's available though? And Coles' average is showing from 5 meetings, rather than 4, for some reason.
  12. After a convincingly impressive win at Stoke, you should really be beating a Buxton side missing Williamson. Of course it'll be much harder than in some recent years but nevertheless another away win and the play-offs should be all but confirmed by this evening.
  13. JPB was classed as withholding his services as he got a 14 day ban which covered his Birmingham meetings too.
  14. Shanes was on a 2.00 then though and what's the second rule allegedly broken?
  15. You obviously didn't ready my post properly as I'm not suggesting that at all. I said that Swindon were using the NT to gauge attendance levels but with the finalists already decided some fans would decide to stay away which wouldn't give a fair reflection compared to if the meeting had have ran a month or so ago. If that turned out not to be the case then fair play to Swindon fans, but most supporters want to see their team win and progress and when one or both isn't viable then they save their money.
  16. Seeing as the point of the Sprockets is to judge crowd sizes, it's disappointing that this is effectively a pointless meeting with Plymouth already through and Swindon already out. It could put off a fair few fans from attending.
  17. DL? Do you mean SDL? That doesn't matter. BV have been clever towards Ben Woodhull because they name him as a number 8 in the meeting. which means his decent scores don't count towards an average.
  18. He suggested it was a home win before the meeting even started. He's said worse before, I admit.
  19. You're right that if an unattached rider does 4 meetings and hits over a 3.00, then he'd get a new average. Joe Lawlor from last year is an example. That's why Brennan & Jenkins only did 3 league meetings last season.
