  1. I think Scunny need a change to refresh the Scorpions fans. Going back to riders like Lyager and Wallner won't improve the team like filling it with 6-7 point men in Auty, Kerr, MPT & Douglas hasnt achieved much lately. I'd try and keep Allen, go back to an established EWR rider like Jorgensen or Nielsen and only keep 1 or 2 from this year then bring in about 4 new men.
  2. Kent are showing what making the right team changes can do!
  3. It always been like it tbf. If riders are tied in an average during the season, its hierarchical based on last months average. It's at the start of the season when you can pick the order yourself.
  4. Definitely the closest play-off chasing battle for a while. BV and Eastie are in with Cradley out imo. If Kent and Mildenhall can pick up another away win (which they're capable of) then they are in strong positions seeing as Brum dropped vital home points this week. But then Lakeside should get 4 points at Buxton which I think will sneak them above one of Kent or Mildenhall.
  5. Good to see a strong performance from Lawlor as he showed some good talent last season but has gone under the radar a bit this year.
  6. Any confirmed team news? I want to set up the updates thread but can't find any.
  7. Questions surrounding both teams. It's a pity as with 2 full strength outfits it looks a good meeting on paper.
  8. He's taking the Dan Bewley to Latvia route
  9. Now Lakeside are at it with the R/R. Bowtell's 3 points is more than an out of form Laurence would've got.
  10. Yes if your face fits. It wasn't like this even a couple of years ago
  11. Fair enough. I didn't realise that. All I can see is by moving the Lakeside from 2nd to 9th it means Eastbourne can use Wood. However Lakeside are missing Bowtell on both dates, so it doesn't benefit them. Equally Mildenhall wouldn't want the 2nd as they'd miss Mountain. It could've been Mildenhall and the Warriors on the 9th though I guess which would mean 2 full strength teams on the 9th but Eastbourne missing Wood against Lakeside. It looks to me like Eastbourne want a full strength team against the strongest opposition.
  12. Yeah it has been long but it doesn't really benefit them.
  13. I guess the difference being that Lakeside, Mildenhall & Kent all wanted the meeting before the cut-off date. Whereas it doesn't matter to the Warriors.
  14. That's as a good a replacement as you're going to get at this stage of the season.
  15. Birmingham should get a play-off spot now. They surely won't throw it away.
  16. It sounds like Hall is riding after a bit of daytime physio.
  17. Poor choice of guests? Priest was the stand out option on that average for Bowtell and Knight had been motoring on his comeback and just had an off night.
  18. Yeah it's the same Bowen. He rode for Plymouth last week.
