  1. Now Lakeside are at it with the R/R. Bowtell's 3 points is more than an out of form Laurence would've got.
  2. Yes if your face fits. It wasn't like this even a couple of years ago
  3. Fair enough. I didn't realise that. All I can see is by moving the Lakeside from 2nd to 9th it means Eastbourne can use Wood. However Lakeside are missing Bowtell on both dates, so it doesn't benefit them. Equally Mildenhall wouldn't want the 2nd as they'd miss Mountain. It could've been Mildenhall and the Warriors on the 9th though I guess which would mean 2 full strength teams on the 9th but Eastbourne missing Wood against Lakeside. It looks to me like Eastbourne want a full strength team against the strongest opposition.
  4. Yeah it has been long but it doesn't really benefit them.
  5. I guess the difference being that Lakeside, Mildenhall & Kent all wanted the meeting before the cut-off date. Whereas it doesn't matter to the Warriors.
  6. That's as a good a replacement as you're going to get at this stage of the season.
  7. Birmingham should get a play-off spot now. They surely won't throw it away.
  8. It sounds like Hall is riding after a bit of daytime physio.
  9. Poor choice of guests? Priest was the stand out option on that average for Bowtell and Knight had been motoring on his comeback and just had an off night.
  10. Yeah it's the same Bowen. He rode for Plymouth last week.
  11. 4 points here make Birmingham favourites imo.
  12. He'll have a stronger partner at Kent so there's someone to cover him home or away.
  13. It annoys me as well but lots of clubs end up in the same situation every year! Yet others never do.
  14. Bickley will have ridden for every team in the league by the end of the season!
  15. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Isle of Wight fixture at the end of October when the play-offs and cups are done.
  16. Playing devils advocate here but at this stage of the season why is the NL meeting more important? Wouldn't Eastbourne take satisfaction out of knocking their local rivals out of a trophy competition that if the result goes Kent's way at Arlington then they'll probably win the whole thing. Plus seeing as Eastbourne will make the play-offs regardless of the league fixture result and if they slip up and Kent make the play-offs too it could make for 2 very attractive meetings!
  17. Is it just me or does everytime Birmingham have a difficult looking meeting they manage to fit in a strong guest with R/R for somebody??
  18. It means 7 rides for Bowen though when he could've taken 3 and Walker 5. It puts a lot of pressure on the top 4 against a team with a decent top 3!
  19. Where are Andrews & Walker? That's a massive miss for the Devils as their points at the SBA are irreplaceable on those averages.
  20. I think too many people don't give NL racing a chance. Many fans of several clubs still enjoy it as much, if not more, than higher level racing.
