Kevin Jolly was hardly complimentary in his meeting preview...

Birmingham Brummies 2017 Hat Trick

Mason in for Ritchings. That's about as good as it was going to get tbf and Mason is actually riding as a second string this time! -
Lakeside V Plymouth Sat 17th June 7-30 Pm

If Boxall only withdrew yesterday then it would've been difficult for the Plymouth promotion to get a good guest in with such a limited time constraint. People wouldve moaned if it was a poor number 1, but at least using R/R meant Devils riders got a ride including Roynon. -
That's correct. They could just sign Hampshire though as if he missed a meeting it'd be the same options available as when Saul misses a meeting.

Yeah Ritchings will be on 6.62 and Hume is 7.33. -

Hume's coming back? I thought his season was over. -
The thing is, Halsey's official average is based on 4 meetings and 2 were BV & Eastbourne away. Probably the hardest 2 meetings all season. His average will soon shoot yo as including National Trophy fixtures he has been having a good season around the 8 point mark.

Speedway World Cup 2017
Islander15 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Harris has to be in the team after his 15 pt max at KL the other week and his general attitude to Team GB. Lambert should be at reserve to utilise him best. Whilst for the other teams it's a pity to not see Hancock and I expect the Czechs to take 3rd place. -
Buxton are missing 3 riders and it's 4 changes from the team that beat the Warriors. Back to a usual makeshift Buxton then, after facing a makeshift opposition for one week.

Auty HAS been given a 14 day ban. -
That's the difficulty with making predictions before the season starts as Hurry undoubtedly makes Lakeside much stronger. Plymouth are the same with Roynon.
-
Not a problem for all teams. Some have handsomely strengthened in Plymouth and Lakeside. Also there's no point in replacing Ritchings. There's no-one available any better and he was doing good until this leg burn.
-
I always find it surreal when a speedway rider books a holiday during the speedway season.
-
Yeah they may will do. I was maybe jumping the gun a bit. Hampshire is an interesting one as KL said he'd quit the sport but now he's taken 3 guest bookings in a week.
-
Saul having exams? Fair enough if that's the reason that Brennan is missing but can't Eastbourne just say where the trio are.
-
Where's Brennan? Where's Baseby? Where's Saul? It looks a much better team around Perry Barr than the usual 1-7 does.

What time were they taken? -
Kent's press release suggests they're sceptical of yesterday's events.

It's very unfair on the fans by making them stay so long and then call it off. Either call it off immediately or give it a go (especially as it wasn't raining anymore and multiple fans have said the track was looking fine). -
Awful for Georgie and Eastbourne.

Surely bringing Ellis in, who's clearly outgrown the NL, is doing as much harm to the sport as giving JPB dispensation to not get a 28 day ban? If he is banned then the Brummie should use guests, they can have literally anyone in the league. The likes of Boxall, Bowen, Ayres and Roynon aren't going to let the club down. -
Yeah he's not riding now due to injury but I don't know whether it's permanent.
-
I'm happy with the signings, especially Kelsey back. Something had to be done and I can't blame the promotion for their efforts.
-
Yeah that's my thinking too but then a Panthers rider could make sense, which is why he's not in Scunny colours tomorrow.
-
Yeah I know what happened to them, I just meant that none were particularly successful as you've detailed. So arguably it wouldn't be a great move to bring another assessed foreigner in now when Scunny need home wins, when the established likes of Nielsen, Berge & Vissing are available.
