Playing devils advocate here but at this stage of the season why is the NL meeting more important? Wouldn't Eastbourne take satisfaction out of knocking their local rivals out of a trophy competition that if the result goes Kent's way at Arlington then they'll probably win the whole thing. Plus seeing as Eastbourne will make the play-offs regardless of the league fixture result and if they slip up and Kent make the play-offs too it could make for 2 very attractive meetings!

Is it just me or does everytime Birmingham have a difficult looking meeting they manage to fit in a strong guest with R/R for somebody?? -

It means 7 rides for Bowen though when he could've taken 3 and Walker 5. It puts a lot of pressure on the top 4 against a team with a decent top 3! -

Where are Andrews & Walker? That's a massive miss for the Devils as their points at the SBA are irreplaceable on those averages. -
I think too many people don't give NL racing a chance. Many fans of several clubs still enjoy it as much, if not more, than higher level racing.

Jacobs got given a new Championship average of like 4.6 something. So his NL average is double tha as his 8.63 NL average isn't current (it was attained in 2015).

£3 for any league speedway programme is imo. All you really want is the score card. Is this a mid season increase then? -
Kelsey can't ride. You need to be in a team to guest. Ayres is the guest for Baseby.

Leek is back then! I think Saunders will be a relative 'find' but the Brummies should push them close here as R/R hurts Eastbourne and JPB was on fire at Arlington last year. -

Surely BV have to track Bewley & Smith. There's no fixture clash now. -
Rowe has really improved as the season has gone on. Well done him!
-
Where's all the money gone then? They survived in the EL for a number of years and it would cost a lot more then than it does in the NL now.
-
It shouldn't be like that though.
-
Basically hidden from the common view. Neither club have bothered to run a news article notifying fans.
-
The average age gets younger I see....

Joe Jacobs looks like the only option.

It was more than manipulation :/

Teams have to stay competitive and Hall does that. A kid wouldn't have done and fans would've walked away. However this is completely legal but why Birmingham were incorrectly blocked in making this move, but Cradley have been allowed to make it seems unfair. But that's the inconsistency decisions the NL has come to unfortunately.

Drury on Hampshire He had a quick spin after the meeting and he felt okay so he should be fine for Friday." Translates to a discussion along the lines last night of 'we've won now so take a break. Don't bother riding for your home fans but start preparing for Friday and thank me with big points then'.

I remember when the Isle of Wight signed Saunders about 5 years ago. I think he rode in 1 home meeting and looked useful but then never did again.
-
Why are Kent using R/R in a challenge?!
-
Does Spiller have any plans to race in England again?
-
Yeah it's always been there. Just they ignored it for Hall. The rules said Hall was eligible for Birmingham but that's another story.

Are the reserves 17 Bates & 18 Ellis?
-
I can believe it was deaf ears. 1.4! That's more than I remembered tbh. It's a massive difference in speedway terms. It's Championship average x 2 or current NL average from 2012 onwards, whichever is higher.
