  1. Haven't you contradicted yourself there? They potentially have the best top 2 in the league and both could be 10-10.5 point men on 9.72 and 9.06 point averages. Not many other teams have a top 2 with as much improvement in them because naturally it's easier to get better when starting from a lower point but I can only see them both really dominating now they're back at Monmore.
  2. This time last year not many people expected Wood to go so well and juding by the rare appearances that Powell made in the NL last year, I see no reason to suggest that he won't be one of the stronger reserve in the league even if he doesn't do a Zach/Perks/Wood/Spiller, he certainly could do a Neale/Dwyer/Kinsley/Bowtell imo.
  3. I agree that it looks like lessons haven't been learnt regarding a strong top 4 but weak bottom 3. However the bottom 3 aren't as weak as last year and I think overall Kent should have a better season as a team, but astute management would've made sure that Clifton started at reserve and a stronger rider than Verge dropped down once he moved up.
  4. It wasn't only about the money. There's more to it. Plus on the injury front he was still suffering head aches from his head injury nearly 2 years later Alex.
  5. Yes he's a 3.00 but no way he'll be back unfortunately.
  6. Imo Richard 6.5 if his thumb holds up haha, Knight 7, Wood 7, Hopwood 7.5-8 and Phillips 3.5-4ish. Then if the other 2 are as expected: Powell 4.5-5 and Hughes 9.
  7. Next year's side doesn't look as dominant as the one that ended this year, but then they have the Spillers to come in and change that!
  8. Maybe because it wasn't the BSPA but only the NL promoters that made the decision!
  9. Its only one less ride so potentially one point. Plus the rookie reserve would benefit from riding with a strong rider like Morley who can go out and win nearly every race at Rye, whereas I'm not sure that the same can be said of Priest.
  10. It's not in terms of time but considering that all the best riders already have teams it is!
  11. That's a very strong top 3 and 2 more kids who showed potential last season. If 2016's training school kids are like Bowtell, Hume and Hunter then I would't be surprised to see a late upturn in form like this season. The team should do fine and it's very good to see so many youngsters given a chance!
  12. I've been told a new number 1. But the rest of the team won't include Kelsey. He's put on Facebook that he signed a deal quickly after the AGM but that club decided to use their own assets. Connor then found him another team but he's been dropped by then today due to averages. Very unfortunate for him!
  13. I don't think you'll see Clifton starting at reserve.
  14. What is a joke is that it looks like there'll be no Ellis!
  15. The two with the biggest potential to increase their average are two of the most inconsistent riders in the league! If they both have a good season, and I especially think Chessell will, then they're top 3 imo.
  16. Wilson individually is a great signing but I don't think this team is anything to write home about. Widman & a 3.00 to complete??
  17. Poole finished fourth in the final so confirmed that he has his visa.
  18. Tbh if Clifton isn't a 3 then why should Purchase be.
  19. I think its more likely that Chris has got confused or simply wants to track x2 3.00 men. Nobody else has mentioned the rule but we know that we don't get told everthing.
  20. Kent's press release infers that Purchase is a 3.00.
