  1. I think that alot will depend on whether or not Kyle will get the backing that he desperately needs, and where he is going to ride next season.
  2. There is a total lack of USA riders, other than Chris Kerr, I don't see any of the young Americans coming through.
  3. I liken Jason to Kelly Moran, there is no doubt that the young guy is brilliant to watch, but he is not alone, young Sarg has been progressing nicely, and to win this meeting when it is first look at the track was a feather in his cap. James might not be as spectacular as Jason, but he is only the same age, and he is a very very intelligent rider , more of a thinker where as Jason do everything naturally, and probably cannot explain how he does it.
  4. We have two Brits in the top 8 going into the final Grand Prix, sorry but there are not the quality of riders coming through from the States at the moment, and I don't think that the American public would support an event that has only one USA representitive.
  5. Well Done to James Sargeant, on a well deserved win, and people ought to know not only is Jason Garrity only 13 so is James. Nice to see so many of the youngsters who were regulars at Sheffield James, Jason, Cameron Hoskins and Jack Hirst, and Cameron is only 12 as far as I can remember. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed with the write that feature on this thread, which gave the impression that Jason was going to blast everybody away, no credit given to James and no mention of him, hopefully people are going to sit up and take notice of this quiet South Yorkshire lad. Jason is spectular and very good to watch, but is prone to making mistakes, which James does not tend to do, and is far more of a polished rider, either way it is nice to see them do so well, and providing they can both get the backing will go on to be very good riders. WELL DONE SARG
  6. Well Done Scotty Nicholls, and it is looking as though we will have 2 riders qualify for next years Grand Prix.
  7. That is the problem they are talking about putting more on, I think before much longer, there are going to be riders that ride just in the Grand Prix.
  8. Never mean't that he would retire from speedway full stop, but just the Grand Prix, so he will be able to spend more time with the family.
  9. Suppose so, but I don't see the American public coming out to support a Grand Prix.
  10. Alas some riders are destined not to be crowned World Champions, and I guess this might be what is going through Leigh's mind. The Grand Prix must take alot out of the riders both finicially and mentally.
  11. But would it grab the Americans attention, with only one truely World Class rider Greg Hancock, who is also a rider who appears to be on the slide.
  12. I do believe that the family have been approached about a film/ drama and turned it down.
  13. I get the feeling that he is seriously think about not competing in the Grand Prix next year, tonight he spoke alot about his young family, and this could well have a big bearing on what he decides. I am sure that he misses the wife and kids when he racing, and his schedule must not leave him to have much quality time with the family, and if not competing in the Grand Prix will give him the chance to do so. Have to say though that if he does reitre from the Grand Prix series then it will be a shame, becuase on his day Leigh can beat any rider in the series, and has prove that this season, with the exception of Nicki Pedersen.
  14. Well Done to Nicki, like Crumpie last year he has been head and shoulders above any other rider in the Grand Prix and fully deserves all the credit given to him.
  15. Did he not become a Born Again Christain, I think I read somewhere he tried to convert Kelly Moran, that is what you call a challenge.
  16. Right about him been as hard as nails, I think that his nicknamre or one of them was the Babyface Assasin. I seem to remember him knocking Kai Neimi out with one punch, at Eastbourne I think it was.
  17. Would like wish the Brit boys Eddie and Lewis all the best for this meeting, although I think that they will do well to get on the rostrum, but in a one of meeting anyhting can happen. To be honest I cannot see any further than reigning champ Zabek or Holder.
  18. Does anybody know what is in the next publication of Backtrack Magazine.
  19. Well done James Sarjeant, a very good third place, and the guy still not 14.
  20. I have got a feeling that it was Booey I know that there is a connection, I know that they friends from school days. Have to agree with your accessment of him been an excellent trackman, the guy did the track at Sheffield when he was Team Manager, I think that he learnt that craft from the Late great Frank Varey.
  21. Thanks for that, another fact is that John Dews was related to the Boococks, I cannot remember whether it was by marriage or whether he was a cousin.
