A great rider had a great style, he also rode for the Halifax Dukes only as a stop gap though.

A great service i take it for granted should'nt do but you all do a great job.

Thats the difference WK,when i started going riders like Keen,HItch,Munday,Duke were no world beaters but they were entertainment great value great team members fans favourites.Would those riders of that ilk get the chance today over a foreigner probably not.

Get real are they on there traditional night of all clubs? saying that can you ever remember a Saturday night track NO you were probably not born.You make really good points and you make alot of sense but this choice because of the series was taken away from us.,

Remember people at there peak thats what i think,! i can remember Briggo saying keep doing it if you enjoy it because you can never have those few years back again.You Know eaces1 that Collins at his peak Penhall would not of beaten him much at Hyde Rd what a compliment that is because Penhall was class he could of won four or five world titles.

Thats the problem we don't operate seven days a week, we are restricted surely you see that?.As an ex) twenty thirty years ago there were Saturday night tracks of there CHOICE now there are the odd few meeting''s. if we are lucky.The GPs practice on the Friday the EL are screwed is that RIGHT or WRONG? if so are the clubs being compensated.?It is not your fault SCB but you never see the old BL in a reasonable shape dictating it was the best league in the world now we take the scraps on offer.

As Humph has said the SGP has robbed us of attracting better riders why didnt the clubs get compensated for this?.Its like a corner shop being forced not to open on certain nights that they wanted to, this GP series really has took British Speedway to the cleaners.

You would think there would be a way for supporters to have a input and talk with the promoters.(ie) try to make this great sport better it is so frustrating.You wait on year on year changes made without the customer having any say how many other businesses don't listen to there customers.?

Backtrack is a great publication i would be willing to pay more for it, online is not the same for me.The only grumble for me is why isn't this terrific magazine available at every track? saying that i thought ordering it is was easy and always prompt.

Is that right though a big NO? a backward step most of the few who stuck up for the one off championship have a decent point.Why are certain individuals creaming it in, we all know the gp series is a decent series but the league racing world wide has suffered i hope you think it was worth it LONGTERM.

To many meeting's you are joking? for me the GP series has decimated it and lets not forget the BL was streaks ahead of any other league thirty years ago If the product(ie) racing is good maybe say for 15 pound? it will survive.The downside on what you are saying is,if someone gets in the habit of not going most weeks they could be lost for ever a delicate topic really.

For me the stadiums don't matter that much,i except that most are rented so the improvements won't be made.All i want is to be entertained and feel i have had value for money,get back to simple rules drop the Micky mouse double points rule and have a proper winner of the league title over a full season.If need be have a separate competition for the top four to satisfy SKY? to keep the season alive.

Great news what a talent he was, he should still be able to be a force i hope so anyway.

Nothing at all to be honest,this GP series should be fairer only the best 16 riders should be in it we all know this is not the case.The old one off final was not always the best riders what is the excuse in this day and age.? nothing really.

This Mole guy is a godsend to be honest ,he odviously loves the sport fair play to him i hope it comes good for the great Brummie fans .

A great series and i was totally wrong about it,i really enjoy it but i still prefer the one off final why can't there be two disciplines? Also next year is a great example the best riders in the world are not there! again i always presumed in a GP series the best would be there they are not.A one off scenario i know it was unfair and brutal at times but it was the same playing field for everybody a FA cup scenario everybody started as a equal had a chance those days have gone now.

I agree was gutted for PK,he deserved it he rode better than Jensen most of the year i do like both riders,but Kildemand at his best can be a top eight rider.I was hoping maybe Emil and Laguta( who is a massive player classy rider) could enter the series it is not to be those two Russians missing again what a shame.

That line up looks on the money, MJJ and Jonasson have not done anough in my book to warrant a chance Batchelor has done really well but was also very fortunate to get a pick.

A great winner a decent man, a great champion for our sport well done Greg.

A sad post from a sad person,i never get the impression of any arrogance from him kissing ass i don't see that either.Also the S/Star is his livelihood he is hardly going to p... people off for the sake of it however he might feel.Why this nastiness towards him? puzzling really i don't understand why you feel you need to.

I still think for the money it is decent value, myself i prefer the old type mag with the front cover simple one picture only.I think the GP coverage is excellent great pictures and sometimes that alone is worth 2.90 i still think it will always have a place.My only moan is the averages i wish they would have them in everyweek all leagues normal averages and those without B.Points.

Great post WK ,i like the GP series i never agreed with it hated it the old one off championships were great i loved them ..But I have to admit i was wrong, it is great value still i don't agree who rides in it but it is a great product,But over the last ten years or so our league system has suffered we were the best now we are a afterthought and extra pocket money for the top riders.

The last six weeks of the season he really pushed on his average much higher he then was not riding like a seven pointer.I am surprised with the 7.04 figure though as things were really going bad for him for most of the season.If he gets a EL birth and gets that sharpness back he is capable of pushing his PL average to 8.30 easily.
