So Arthur as you have made some great points and made this into a great thread what would your personal preference be for the future.?

Arthur twenty home fixtures is about right i think.Wouldnt certain tracks have problems doing more anyway with the Greyhounds curfews( ect) and also it is not financially viable the point you made about the World Cup is a massive point.I hope this new league gets set up teams start on a level playing field and balance the books and try and get a bit of stability for the longterm.

Bloody hell Hunter your memory is well pretty good ! always liked Ray goes without saying Boulger for me was a very good rider world class underrated.Jessup i never really liked as a rider but he was some rider no doubt about that.If i think of Leicester Wilson, Boulger,Storer,Auffrett, and both the Whites come to mind Vic and Keith.

His record from 1968 until 1974 in big individuals events was very good and as you said he did hold a few track records that one year did Leicester have Ray,DJ, and the vastly underrated Boulger.?

Went through all my DVd stuff with Tony commentating i had quite alot and that race with Gollob and Nilsen would be a favourite.Also last year in the play offs the Poole v Lakeside tie he was very good loved speedway enthusiastic a massive loss.

I thought that race of Tony commentating was awesome,so was Gollob. And that race showed how awesome a talent TG has been over a long period anyway going back to Tony he was pretty good on the footy as well.!

Knudsen is a bloke who is often forgotten a class act,i would put him up there with the mighty two.Ok his cv does not show it but in that final with Nielsen he was so unlucky but Nielsen had earned his luck.Knudsen for me when he came back from that bad back injury really did reach a high level again a nearly man like Jessup i suppose.

Why Kildemand?i thought it would of been Pawlicki Jnr or Lahti that is a disappointment though as Lochtaev is a talent and could of been a real spoiler.

I would agree with all of them, not so sure about Jan O but at his best he could put it up to Nielsen.Kelly what a talent he was just shows you all good riders can still get injured ,he had a nasty one the first year he came over but he had great balance style and he had nice personalatity.
