  1. Seem to recall that Ged never denied taking the money The dispute was rather over his punishment and whether it was just given he appeared to have been cleared to take it from the required authorities
  2. Fair point also Steve Ultimately whatever the what ifs and if onlys we lost by 10 and thats what counts!
  3. It wasn't the bigger heats as such that were the problem on Monday Heats 7-10 being 19-5 was where the match was lost
  4. 4 possibly 5 of the teams are looking at it the same way so it really isnt a Lynn issue Remember to accomodate that something has to give elsewhere (usually at the bottom end) and you already claim to be defficient there too!
  5. This is all in almost complete contrast to the Ipswich situation With us all the worry was about not naming a team early and little or no news coming out - very different to our normal approach But once Santa Buster produced the Harris parcel from his sack that soon settled most nerves even if the team was seen as 'cannon fodder' Aside from that you wouldnt think Buster was involved at all with everything seeming business as usual and the club still very much 'ours' Crowds are up, performances have exceeded most expectations and racing quality has been up a notch or two and very enjoyable meetings has been the order of the day
  6. With all due respect it doesnt matter if the the count gets to many hundreds The important ONE may supposedly have been prepared to carry on but he didnt - he CHOSE to sell up and was prepared to leave you in the hands of Chapman Either he didnt believe that was a bad thing or he didnt care. I find it hard to believe he didnt care so he mustve been confident it was a good idea for the club
  7. Agree with Buttons - on the face of it to keep it to 10 at Wolves doesnt seem a bad result but with the scores from 3 as low as they were it seems a missed opportunity....
  8. Will depend which matches drop out of the rolling calculation It may be the 2019 starting average included 2017 and 2018 matches upto the 20 sample size but at first review all the 2017 become obselete even if the new rolling average isnt using the full 20 matches Only a theory - hopefully someone can clarify
  9. Before the pre season injuries Wolves were my tip as favourites and even despite the knocks they are right up there IMO For the Witches to get even a point seems most unlikely but we have already performed better than most expected and that is whilst 1 or 2 have not produced in each meeting The reserves have dominated so far but this one wont be as easy for them. Just think how Wolves fans will react if Cam bangs in double figures 52-38 to the home side - anything better is a good result for the Witches
  10. Totally agree And to think this is the sort of start many argue should be legal. He is right up to the tapes and doesnt roll but just drops the clutch with perfect anticipation (luck not judgement though)
  11. Looks to me like they have done a great job with the reshaping Will only improve further as the surface settles down Lets hope there is a stadium for it to be in for many years to come
  12. Magnificent from Jake tonight Good team effort and a great win Danny just finishing testing and trying to sort out carb issues - lots of head scratching as all was fine in warm up but both bikes playing up all night
  13. Rosco had the choice not to list Lampart in the 4 for the vote.......
  14. Will still be rolling averages each month with only league matches in each update
  15. It isnt the old Blunsdon though is it.... Witches will be huge outsiders to take anything from this other than a pasting in most peoples eyes The reshaped track and how it could change significantly as it beds in is the one X factor than could give the Witches a sniff If there is to be a shock then this is the time for it - up the Witches!!
  16. Yep - to the extent where the kevlars he used in the winter were the ones he had as a teenager when he first came over to England
  17. Bewley has never looked comfortable at Foxhall but last night was a shock even given that It was a great shame to see him struggle so poorly even though it benefitted the Witches I genuinely hope he can get back to full fitness and start showing the rapid improvement he was making before his crash and soon Whilst Lidsey didnt look like troubling the scorers last night it was still apparent that there is talent there from his general style and in the way he learned from each ride Belle Vue will be in the mix no doubt about it
  18. Solid and impressive performance Stand outs were Dickie and Cam Danny, Nuts, Jake and Rory all did there job and Barry was unlucky to be pulled out of a ride as he did nothing wrong (good to see Ritchie make the tough but correct call to switch) The Witches garden is looking quite rosy at the moment - long may it continue
