  1. Because he didnt require a full frontal labotomy over the winter???
  2. Indeed to score 7 full points then he would have to beat his partner who therefore would drop those points and be paid instead for his total
  3. Good if you can but that would be a signicant enhancement to the standard policy that has been in place for about 3 seasons (???) now
  4. So long as the weather looks set fair Id imagine there will be a large Witches contingent Just like the old days........
  5. Which is good as opposed to just the next 3 meetings but doesnt mean it will be free admission rather than the £8 discount....
  6. Re-admission policy In the event of a rain-off, the British Speedway policy is as follows: Should the meeting be abandoned before heat one, your ticket can be used at one of the following three home meetings after the rain-off or at the re-arranged fixture. Should the meeting be called off before heat 10, the re-admission discount is as follows. £1 will be taken off the re-admission price for every heat that is not completed before heat 10. You can claim your discount upon presenting your ticket at one of the following three home meetings after the abandonment or at the re-arranged fixture. Heats raced Discount 1 £9 2 £8 3 £7 4 £6 5 £5 6 £4 7 £3 8 £2 9 £1 This is copied from the Ipswich website - one that at least is fully upfront with the policy by publushing clearly and in full on easily accessible public pages
  7. The standard reduction is £1 for each heat not completed upto heat 10 (when a result would be called and no refund offered) That should mean an £8 reduction for the rearranged fixture or any of the next 3 meetings (but clubs may have their own criteria)
  8. That may because he was signed whilst still injured as opposed to injured after signing
  9. Back in the day I believe that it was the case that no replacement would be allowed prior to riding but in more recent times there has been a number of examples where a it has happened at the start of the season It is still upheld for mid season changes mind
  10. Lambert needs to produce or the Pirates will run away with it Even with a good performance from him I can see a narrow away win
  11. Good news (relatively) then Tough start to the year when you have such machinery woes
  12. Lets hope the Witches early season injury jinx hasnt struck again - Jake has taken a tumble at Leicester and withdrawn from the meeting Comments on updates (thanks Sue and all ) suggest a wrist injury
  13. Doesnt matter how few points Andersen scores - unless the 2019 are different to last year no non British rider can have an average below 4 for team building purposes
  14. Rumours and fake news abound when certain posters are determined the rubbish stir
  15. Fair play to Paco - I was quite blunt about his inclusion. Two good wins in the first meeting is already more than I expected he would get in the first month He is a great character and if he continues to add a few decent point hauls to that would certainly justify his place I wouldnt be unhappy to be proved wrong!
  16. Shame - probably a bit chilly to perch on the roof......
  17. Cant you just pop round to No17 for a cup of tea - bound to be a great view from there
