  1. Neither - deserved winners doing the job that needed doing on the night I think we may have been a touch complacent and it got away before we could turn it around. How we bounce back will be the key. Chatting to a few after Im confident they have it in them to turn it into a positive
  2. Why the smug patronising BS Steve? Not needed and is why you are largely despised on here Poole won fair and square and every Ipswich fan has congratulated the team on here. Many stayed and gave them warm applause on the victory parade Show some humility for once
  3. Wasnt referring to tonight FB - Poole have done nothing wrong tonight. It was a reference to our visit to Boro. Can see why that would be puzzling without that context - sorry!
  4. Klindt always had the edge really - Danny never got round enough to truly claim the place. Fair play to Klindt for a clean race (unlike some others)
  5. Poole deservedly bossing the meeting with a confident display out of the traps. Witches counting to 2 before dropping the clutch and have no answer at the moment
  6. Big test now..... Witches scrabbling in the bottom of their kit bags for their gating gloves
  7. None of the threatened showers have hit today and the forecast for rain that was looking 50/50 for 7/8pm has now shifted out til after 10pm so all looks set fair Lets hope it stays that way and the Pirate select is sent packing with a humbling spanking
  8. Just as well that the average lifespan of any conversion/multiplier regulation is 1 year really!!
  9. And I thought you were going to raise a downside......
  10. Due to the farcial conversion rules and laughable multiplier......
  11. More than happy for anyone to continue to write off our chances - takes the pressure off. Will make it all the sweeter if we manage to pull off a surprise and reduce the disappointment if we dont
  12. Mr Klindt will be a good barometer If he wins his first heat you will know it is quite slick. If he goes 0R133 you know it started grippy
  13. Looked like he had recovered before he even left the stadium going by the fact he had little problem carrying 2 heavy kit bags on the way to his van......
  14. Foxhall's recent reputation is also at the 'very grippy' end of the scale.....
  15. From experience its often this type of meeting with a low expectation that ends up being one of the more entertaining
  16. How is it no fault of your own? Your own riders knocked each other off (unfortunately) Part and parcel of the sport - suck it up The rain may save you yet anyway - that would be typical!!
