  1. Aside from the tapes delays and Twitter vote count up Id say it was a smooth and quick paced running The tractors are needed if you want to keep the track in a condition to enable the passing that did take place to continue.....
  2. Nice picture on the Kings Lynn Twitter thanking their fans for the wonderful support Just one thing - it happens to be presenter Kevin Long, The Massif and other Witches fans https://mobile.twitter.com/ipswichspeedway
  3. Well done to the Stars - particularly impressive from Jorgensen. Replace Andersen and that team could be in the mix for fourth place. The mid meeting Witches collapse was disappointing but will happen away from home. Never looked like providing the winner of enough heats to challenge for a win. Cam and Jake were brilliant. Danny did OK but just didnt look quite quick enough. Everyone else just wasnt on the pace. Some hard fought decent races. Probably more entertaining than most meetings but not a classic. Good atmosphere - it was good to be back at compost corner
  4. So long as Lamberts return to form remains intact then Lynn should win this We will be there and making some noise either way
  5. Yeah Badge we need to keep it close A 2 point win will do rather than 28
  6. Just had the P&P video pop on on my Youtube suggestions Great piece - fantastic season scene setter Yet again showing others the way
  7. Neil could certainly be seen as someone that divides opinions but of no doubt is his contribution to speedway and Poole in particular Id say a benefit meeting isnt out of place for him but as Bwitcher states those that dont agree arent forced to attend and pay towards it
  8. Why is it a shame that we dont allow foreign riders in the British National Development League?
  9. Because he didnt require a full frontal labotomy over the winter???
  10. Indeed to score 7 full points then he would have to beat his partner who therefore would drop those points and be paid instead for his total
  11. Good if you can but that would be a signicant enhancement to the standard policy that has been in place for about 3 seasons (???) now
  12. So long as the weather looks set fair Id imagine there will be a large Witches contingent Just like the old days........
  13. Which is good as opposed to just the next 3 meetings but doesnt mean it will be free admission rather than the £8 discount....
  14. Re-admission policy In the event of a rain-off, the British Speedway policy is as follows: Should the meeting be abandoned before heat one, your ticket can be used at one of the following three home meetings after the rain-off or at the re-arranged fixture. Should the meeting be called off before heat 10, the re-admission discount is as follows. £1 will be taken off the re-admission price for every heat that is not completed before heat 10. You can claim your discount upon presenting your ticket at one of the following three home meetings after the abandonment or at the re-arranged fixture. Heats raced Discount 1 £9 2 £8 3 £7 4 £6 5 £5 6 £4 7 £3 8 £2 9 £1 This is copied from the Ipswich website - one that at least is fully upfront with the policy by publushing clearly and in full on easily accessible public pages
  15. The standard reduction is £1 for each heat not completed upto heat 10 (when a result would be called and no refund offered) That should mean an £8 reduction for the rearranged fixture or any of the next 3 meetings (but clubs may have their own criteria)
  16. That may because he was signed whilst still injured as opposed to injured after signing
  17. Back in the day I believe that it was the case that no replacement would be allowed prior to riding but in more recent times there has been a number of examples where a it has happened at the start of the season It is still upheld for mid season changes mind
