  1. Looking at the fixture list unless League Cup meetings count towards averages it could be July before 'new' averages come into force Could be all too late by then.....
  2. Disagree - Worrall should be 6.55 Its Clegg that shouldnt be 2
  3. Others havent been awarded revised averages from less than 8 meetings so I wouldnt say that is definite. Cleggs is the 1 that seems to have been but again not confirmed as ratified anywhere yet.
  4. Would need to be the proverbial ' white charger' to make a difference
  5. Shinanigains? Has someone been pulling your leg ruff?
  6. We gonna look at a Witches Massif roadtrip then Baldy??
  7. Perry retired and Branford not coming to UK in 2018 has been said on other threads
  8. Not as boring as when a post neither adds anything to the ongoing discussion nor offers a new dimension or direction
  9. I believe you are right. A few looked to do it and soon the avenue was closed Didnt take the clubs long to realise the future impact and put a stop to it
  10. Totally agree - Nathan was superb and it would be a travesty if he doesnt get a Championship spot
  11. The registration remains with the club indefinitely In your example the club holding Davids registration before his retirement would still have held it upon his return That club wouldve had first priority for his services and have had to agree to his signing elsewhere whilst also picking up a loan fee in that scenario
  12. Its January , team announcement in limbo , obviously no fixtures or other goings on - thats as real as news gets at this time....
  13. Currently there is one big drawback - there is nothing really worthwhile that comes with winning. No prize money , no significant publicity and limited extra sponsorship opportunities. But perhaps it may take a different outlook such as this one to bring those extra financials....
  14. An interesting stance and one that has some merit. The condition of the sport as a whole I dont think could be damaged any further by at least giving it a go. Of course if it was purely down to funds Poole may not find that they have it loaded as much in their favour as many may think.
  15. Absolutely - good new Aussies (and others) have a place in our leagues. Whilst I think the set up could do more to support young Brits simply excluding those from outside is not the way to achieve that.
  16. Yep - and no rider can compete without signing his registration to a promotion
  17. Its the National DEVELOPMENT League Thats what the set up has as its aim and is what should be the most important aspect If this gives Drew Kemp a chance to progress at a faster rate it is what needs to happen for the future of British Speedway
  18. I believe that within current regulations a rider is not permitted to own their own registration - it has to be an a promotion
