  1. So Tungate simply wanted it more then and done what was needed - it was to decide a National Championship after all. The ref obviously didnt see it as unfair and you roll the dice and take the odds
  2. Absolutely agree he is still young but it is already becoming a trait of his All the talent in the world wont make up for it if he cant get it right between the ears when the crunch time comes....
  3. By that if all those that dont get a discount undertook a similar boycott the crowd would be down 70/75%.....
  4. If said new non Brit has such a great chance of improving their average that just shows the original assessment has been set too low..... The league doesnt really need new 5 point and sub 5 point riders I would set entry level at min 6
  5. Lakeside wanted him (and Kennett) Dont feel too sorry for them though as they simply gamzumped Berwick and Sheffield for Morris and Lawson instead and have brought in 2 reserves on out of date low averages....
  6. Agree with this and as a Witches fan although I am looking forward to seeing Haertel I wouldve been delighted to have seen Nathan Greaves back in that slot. I hope he gets sorted elsewhere as it would be a travesty if he doesnt get a Championship place in 2018.
  7. Perhaps you could be kind as you were with Danny and take him on to achieve a 'nicer' figure ready for the Witches
  8. I much prefer Scott to join Newcastle Id have to boo him as a pussycat Long commute for him from the south coast mind.......
  9. Being a Witches fan Im not familiar with the concept - what are these strange things you call 'cups' ?
  10. He told them it was wrong and against the rules and would result in a fine. Overstepped the mark suggesting the level of the fine incorrectly perhaps.... Breaking the rules just because you think you can get away with it is still breaking the rules.....
  11. I take it all back then - Klindt is a great signing then
  12. Whatever his actions they were far less detrimental to British Speedway that the course taken by Holder and Rathbone....
  13. Under 6 points at the first set of averages......??
  14. Surely Sarj was very consistent - he never failed to pee you off
  15. Great looking side and will be right up there For me Howarth was the most improved rider in the Championship last year and despite him being no1 for one of the Witches main rivals I hope he can push on further I think he has what it takes to move on to the next level
  16. Cameron Heeps does not require a visa He has patriality via family heritage I think the Kurtz bros along with some others (Morris?) have similar Agree with you re Campton. He had not impressed me at all before last season but in 2017 upped his game significantly What that does show is that when a rider is given time they can improve and become solid team members at the very least. Unfortunately such opportunities are not as often afforded to the British riders in the same way as those from abroad
  17. Klink will just as likely get beat by no7 2 pointers who out gate him as he will beat opposition no1s - cant think of too many more inconsistent and frustrating riders as him
  18. Close your eyes and count to 100 and we will all hide.....
  19. The positive initiatives of the last few years have now all been ditched The draft was far from perfect but that was due to the selfish implementation rather than the ideal The raising of starting average for visa riders and that ALL none Brits could not fall below 5 The min 2 Brits per team Brit only No7 in the 2nd tier Short sighted.....
