  1. My boys are 9 & 11 and whilst they both spend hours on their boxes it is the eldest that is the 'addicted' one. When it comes to Speedway however the youngest can take it or leave it and isnt that bothered even when its free yet the eldest now comes every week and is really 'getting into it' I dont think any activities are mutually exclusive.
  2. get him looking at updates or enrolled on the forum - increase his interest in Speedway whilst on his dads phone!
  3. Not good news - effectively could be out for the rest of the season then. A colleague at work has recently been signed off for six weeks as a result of a spiral fracture of his upper arm
  4. Disappointing but not totally unexpected. Ultimately a result that makes no difference to how the seasons honours will be shared out but the Witches will need find a way to do better away at the top sides if they have any hope of lifting the big prize. Hopefully Allen and Kurtz are OK.
  5. Monarchs Rebels Bandits and Witches now all in IMO. Last 2 spaces still between the next 4-5 and could go anyway.
  6. Despite our recent good form I dont expect even a point for the Witches. Anything less than a 16 point loss would be a decent effort. If we pull off a win I think I will start a count!! #englishsmugs lol
  7. Another excellent Witches performance. Team spirit looks great and the boys are buzzing. Worky looked just the opposite - a bit tentative and lacking confidence. Effectively the real season starts at the end of this month and the 6 weeks that follow are where it all counts. Hopefully we can carry on this current form through to the end and who knows where it could lead.......
  8. I think the only reason he has been singled out is that he is the best example this year.Agree that he could still be worthwhile on a 5. Thats just the point - if they are good enough they are more than welcome. If not then team takes the risk of the shortfall. If they are not good enough they shouldnt be here.
  9. I rate Worky highly and they should provide a stern test. They have riders that go well at Foxhall (we have chosen JG RB RW as guests previously) whilst Howarth and Campton have generally been competitive on their visits. With the recent improved form of Cam and Adam we should have too much depth and be able to send the Comets home empty handed. 50-40 Up the Witches!
  10. One ride into his Panthers career and Dilger already replaced. lol
  11. the lower one. Would make teams think before just bringing over a donkey on a hunch. Could potentially use a floor limit instead as a half way house. ie assessed 7 couldnt fall below 6 and assessed 5 not below 4.
  12. could still use the real average for team position and facilities.
  13. Whilst it seems RocketBen is being a tad harsh one point I do agree with him on us that riders should retain their starting assessed average if they dont achieve a higher real one.
  14. Often British youngsters are critisised for expecting it all on a plate and not being willing to put themselves out. Thats not something you can level at Jo. 2nd season at PL level and he has been prepared to go up to Glasgow and now Workington. Hope it goes well for him.
  15. sit in the stand and wind up the locals - that should get a few emotions flowing and lonlieness wont be one of them. wink
  16. Well done to the boys. If we can back up this win with even a point at Boro Id say thats enough to secure a play off place Chin up Richie W - your chance to make a difference is still to come when it really matters.
  17. Could certainly go either way. The new signings could over perform on debut adrenaline or be below par due to being rusty. Intriguing fixture as a result particularly as the destination of the points could go a long way to deciding who gains a place in the play offs. Hopeful that the Witches can do the business at at least pick up a draw.
  18. So my assumption was correct albeit due to my own confusion over the U21 date! Still think the Witches can pull this one off. Cam and Adam to shine.
  19. absolutely no blame attached to the messenger.quite the opposite its good to have these things pointed out as I for one dont trawl the Polish site for info.
  20. Possibily not - however the jist of my post was more that I dont see there being any great change from the current approach rather than definitive list of riders.
