  1. Morten has looked a little flat for a few weeks IMO. Hopefully saving his best to end the season with. He has been good value this year. Be good to end his testimonial season with a winners medal of some sort.
  2. So thats one of the groups sorted before it really began and 5 days before the other even starts!
  3. If he gets a 2 year ban there may be a few more asking the same question.
  4. Underlines their deserved position as favourites. Handled the pressure of what couldve been a tight call very well it seems to win comfortably in the end.
  5. Why only Clegg for Sneddon? He is not lowest in the averages so dont have to have only a NL replacement.
  6. So it looks like even on something that seems starightforward like putting it up the English that Glasgow and Edinburgh still have to go against each other!!
  7. So the winner of the last round isnt good enough for the GPs? What does that say about the rest of them??
  8. Whilst I can see Deans point re cluttering up the pits with bodies that are not needed I dont see a separate area for non mechanics working. Whether its a mentor/manager or physio thats not the sort of interaction for a communial space. If thats what a rider wants/needs then its best in his own pit bay IMO for 'staying in the zone'* mentally.*(select your own cliche to taste!)
  9. fair enough - in that case....... British Speedway is used to welcoming useless foreigners depriving our own youngsters places so the Tigers are Monarchs are most welcome to stay! wink
  10. of course if they are to be liable for 25% of the debt then they would also be entitled to 25%of the assests - army/navy/airforce resources to use your example. Lots of hot air on here as usual!! Personally I like the idea of the status quo and stability of the union but then Im an Englishman far away in East Anglia so dont see the effects which prompt the Yes arguement in my daily life. Should the Scots decide 'Yes' them I think it best that we all look forward and work constructively to give all parties the best future. Back stabbing and oneupmanship will just mean we all end up worse off both financially and culturally.
  11. Mine is relatively modern and Witches biased. Some top stars but also fun to watch. Davey, Sanders, Cook, Sigalos, Loram ,Louis©, Mogridge, Howe, Gollob, Nicholls.
  12. All 3 sides will be hoping for and perhaps expecting solid or even big home wins. It will be the team that can pull the rabbit out of the hat and produce a special away performance that will grab a place in the final. Confident the Witches can open up with a win by about 15.
  13. Most will want to see a Bandits 3 point win - not anti Monarchs -just as otherwise the rest of the group matches are all but pointless
  14. perhaps the Tigers need some help to balance out the curse so here goes...... ...16 point lead for the Diamonds- theres no way they can throw that away in a month of Sundays?
  15. One thing regardless of who wins (and how late into the season it takes!) is that I hope the title isnt decided by 1)A rider injury mid meeting that skews a result 2)Tactical ride points let the battle commence - eventually!!
  16. surely if the records are identical on match points and race points then highest league position should dictate the qualifier.
  17. IF (big if) we make the final then I wouldnt be surprised to see the 16 lapper scrapped.
  18. why is there the best part of two weeks from the cut off date to the first fixture in the group?? A blank week with the weather set fine. Then watch everyone panic to get it all completed when there is a bit of rain in a fortnights time! Crazy IMO.
  19. Unbelievable! This Thursday has been marked as the reserved date for the first play off match in the fixture list since Feb. Now are opponents are unavailable despite no meetings elsewhere in the country. Presumably this means there are matches in Sweden some riders are involved in?? So another blank week when the weather is set fine whilst we wait for others to sort themselves out.
  20. Surprised to see Somerset pick Scunny ahead of Berwick. Would be no surprise to see all home wins in the 'south' group and best away performance wins.
