Palm Toft can use one thats 2 years old because he only had 1 year in the EL before returning. Palm Tofts 4.92 is valid under the regs but that doesnt mean it is a fair assessment.

but its not his last average - which should override it.If he had not ridden in Britain at all fair enough but he did. Therefore he has a established British average for 2014 which should be used with the relevant conversion rate.

Who the 3 pointer would be if it is a new 5 pointer is just as important. Very difficult to carry a very low scoring No7. When you look at an option of say Ellis/Jacobs you would expect a solid contribution from both. With a makeweight No 7 the other newcomer has to be capable of getting all those on his own.

I cant see it being anything other than a new 5 pointer plus a 3. If its 2 at 4 points then the no Adam situation would be plain crazy. Also it needs to be a very special 5 pointer to make it justifiable IMO.
