  1. I thought the judge said that you werent allowed within 500 metres of a playground!! PmslSee ya tonight mate
  2. Im on Foxhall Rd today.Light rain started about 3. Looks to be set in for while. Will need to hope for a clear spell later!!
  3. Only confirmed in the crazy world of Jengas mind it seems.Id much rather see Wells at Foxhall anyway.
  4. He may have a blinder - which to date would be any score over 8!One thing it will show us is the potential difference Cook v Lawson made in the cup. The comments are rather tongue in cheek as Foxhall aside Lawson has been a fast learner and deservedly won much praise for it.
  5. If you read the thread you will see a number of Witches fans have posted that we should/could have gone with r/r. Lawson is welcome to guest against us at Foxhall anytime!!
  6. Is Mear a temp signing? He has today been 'rested' by Lakeside being replaced by Adam Ellis.
  7. Thats the first time I have seen racing at Berwick and it was certainly fast and furious. The limitations of the dimensions of a dual purpose stadium mean there really is only one line and unless there is a big mistake or a rider doesnt get out where you need to be I cant see any way to pass that doesnt involve an eyes closed kamikazi dive bomb.
  8. I reckon Cookie could have his eyes closed and still make a better start than some at times!!
  9. Totally agree Beerhut - season ticket is now very poor value given the meeting restrictions and no programme. The trouble is that would a reduced price attract 'new fans'? If it worked out £12 a meeting I would buy one but the club would be worse off compared to my gate money minus 2or3 missed for holidays etc I do think the sport needs to pitch itself at £12 / £25 family level. Only problem is that if it doesnt bring in those extra hoped for fans then the financial position would be perilous. Its easy to say speculate to accumulate when its someone elses money!!
  10. All PL - Rye , Sheffield, Worky, Newcastle - spread over next couple of months.
  11. I had the impression this isnt going to be a full test strength type meeting but more a second level event. Therefore Id expect no Tai Scot or Harris for GB and no Holder Watt or Schlein for Oz. Im sure we will know more by about next Tuesday!!!
  12. This is first instance of missing Ben due to Birminghams fixture taking priority. A rule that seems fair enough to me in principle. I think we could have gone with r/r and still been strong enough to win this and gain max points in order to qualify for the semis. Will go for theWitches to pick up 57 points.
  13. You have run for 2 months more than 2 points under the limit so the 'in the interests of speedway' rule should apply if adding up is a bit out!
  14. Would that be the wide line that Ben has used so successfully in heat 1 all year Aljackal?
  15. Indeed - he tried to pull off a move that would have been a cunning stunt and then acted like a stunning .......
  16. Who did he have to beat at Lynn though? Two riders out injured and an off form Howe just leaves the reserves of similar PL level. Last night he was passed as he made very small mistakes and found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Would you like a stick to stir that with?!
  17. I am aware of what he called Morten - I believe it rhymes with the smallest pig in a litter!! What I meant was that once he thinks in the cold light of day he will realise he was at fault but at the time.....drama queen toys and dummy out rant!
  18. I think Doyles reaction was all adrenalin. I must admit I thought he may be taking a trip in the ambulance so it was good to see him up despite his reaction. Perhaps he was angry with himself for losing his head. Morten was always going to put it into reverse at bend1 to keep it on the white line whilst Ben came round the outside so it was a crazy move.
  19. It would certainly have been an unjustice had the Witches not picked up all 3 points despite a spirited effort (as I expected) from the Rebels. The curse of the No1 Witches jacket struck again -Doyle only wore it as a guest and how the voodoo curse followed him in 15!! And finally - Super Morten - Witches No1 elect -Aljackal were you watching?!
  20. Im sure Somerset will feel they didnt do themselves justice on their last visit - I would like to think it was because the Witches didnt let them. More of the same will represent an excellent start yo the League campaign. Witches by 10 for me.
