  1. Lets use my Ippo as an example to check Im reading this right. Hawkins is going at end of short term contract -4.82 average. Team toatal currently allows replacement upto 5.20 BUT Adam Ellis COULD be reassessed at say 4.25 given his scores to date meaning the replacement has to be under 4.82. Of course this is all IF the MC decide to reassess Adam on redeclaration as it doesnt seem to say it WILL use the scores to date - it say BASED upon. So again its all down to IF a rule is implemented and it COULD be a different decision depending on who is askng who!
  2. the Witches website being ahead of the game with any news is a shock!!
  3. Always good to see a rider on the mend and back to racing whatever team they represent. Good luck to Andrew (although not too much for Thurs!!)
  4. Just feeling a bit mischeivious tonight! In reality of I have no problem with the make up of the Diamonds. Every team wouldve loved to have been in the position re Worralls average and no one can blame you for trying to make the most of it. Out of interest has a time limit been set for r/r and when is expected that Tully may be fit?
  5. No1 for the keep net! Perhaps shouldve added the Lindgren not meeting the d/u rules as well!
  6. Full strength? Try overstrength due to a debatable r/r facility and the lag in Worralls average! Favourites to win. Id certainly take a Witches 46-44 right now.
  7. Whatever the rights and wrongs of the decision I would bet my house on Tai being happy to take the exclusion if he was able to swap it for the broken bone!!
  8. The Eurosport guy (Andy Vane?) was also very proficient - a Speedway novice but it didnt show!
  9. Semis and the final could well be a bit of a lottery the way the track is deteriorating.
  10. Nothing has happened to Aljackals brain - there was/is nothing there to alter!!
  11. Part of the problem for us armchair team managers s that we dont have the true averages of those available to hand. All those mentioned that rode last year will now have a different average to that at the end of last year despite not riding due to the number of meeting included in the calculation being reduced. Six meetings have fallen off the sample six which could make for a significant swing - up or down.
  12. What was that bit in Phil Risings post re hoping it isnt the unlucky 13th staging!! Fingers toes and everything else crossed that they can get it right in the night.
  13. When I saw this thread title I assumed it was the disgruntled Poole fan finally giving up on Speedway!
  14. Looking forward to Aljackals enthusiastic response to the enthralling performances of Elite League superstars Woodward and North tonight.
  15. I take it that means Somerset have meetings those nights and hence your question about priority earlier in the thread. Just to worry you then I believe Tungate had to switch to ride for Poole tonight as he is racing on an ACU licence rather than a MA one otherwise he would have had to ride in the Test match. 3 guests and r/r for Somerset then??
  16. Was ironic to see Doyle having a go at Worrall for having him off in heat 15 in a role reversal of his move on Morten of a fortnight ago - too slow into the corner Jase too slow!
  17. Fair play to him - fast and smooth tonight.Maybe he has conquered his Foxhall demons! He is now welcome to guest FOR the Witches!!
  18. Perhaps he thinks he should be too - just had a fight with Doyle at the pit gate!!
  19. League in this case. If it were an official FIM international may well be different.
  20. come on now you wouldnt expect anything produced by the BSPA to be straightforward clear and concise would you!
  21. Surely if they like tractors then we can get Bob to wave to them and be available for autographs!!
  22. Full price for the TOP international would be £20+ so normal PL price is in effect a reduction due to it being second level teams.
  23. Whilst I tend to agree with your outlook as what seems to be common sense if rule 2 does take precedence over rule 1 then surely Newcastle wouldve been granted a facilty. As it wasnt granted then surely that means rule 1 has precedence over rule 2. So it seems the hardline approach would be to enforce the rule and make Ludvig stand down from 1 team whilst the practical common sense approach has actually been taken. Of course the result is that any such similar situation or variation of and any hardline interetation of the rule is impossible. Eg Adam Ellis at Lakeside where he technically doesnt qualify due to not having a 2012 average. Of course the common sense solution is still to let him double up anyway. If that doesnt happen then further questions arise.
  24. Strange that Tungate has been named - Poole are riding that night arent they? Heeps would be been a fair pick in his place at Foxhall.
