  1. I would estimate 2500 last night - the envy of any track in the country. Couple that with the best Club sponsor and it is baffling....... Produce surfaces and performances like last night too often though and part one of that equation will soon drop.......
  2. Most disappointing part of tonight was the track which made any real racing almost impossible Trap , pin the line and don't get passed. A small chance out of bend 2 on lap1 if you use your head Mind you there is no accounting for continuing to try what obviously won't work over and over again!!
  3. I raise you Rowe scoring 5 where Leicester totalled 65 ..... he beat Clegg and a NL no7 along with 3 non finishers.....
  4. Of the Witches 7 only Riss seems to have shown any great form so far Others have been less convincing with indeed a few rather ropey performances Boro have looked rather sharper in general and will be favourites
  5. Exciting stuff - just over a week into the season and I'm just one away from a line on Harris guest bingo already!
  6. Great result for the Witches who avoid defeat for the second consecutive Thursday
  7. I'm not sure any speedway meeting is particularly important let alone an early season league Cup warm up....
  8. What difference does the number of pairs make? Its just ride every other pair once surely!! Semi and final if desired
  9. 100% Temp at what would've been tapes up heat 1 is just 2° and falling. Forecast at -3° overnight
  10. I had been looking forward to ending my self imposed exile but the weather has literally dampened my enthusiasm It's so bitter right now and will be similar tomorrow - the sofa and central heating are winning in the battle for my attendance right now!!
  11. Not pilot or pit crew related then...... Mustve had quite run of bad luck with fuel over the years then
  12. That's not the PJL team This is a separate NL type level challenge with Mildenhall
  13. No different to naming a team that's over the limit. It didn't meet the required criteria What did you expect? That they would just say "ah go on then !"
  14. Without having any figures to back it up I would hazard a guess than most riders have a differential of 1.5 - 2 points between home and away figure The very best of course are just good everywhere and those are at the top for that reason There are also the true one track specialists where the gap is vast. I seem to recall the likes of Adam Allot averaging nearly 8 at home and barely 2 away
  15. 95% of fans only ever see home meetings and their view is skewed accordingly Winning home meetings and having riders that can entertain at home are two of the top factors in attracting a decent attendance Cam generally ticks those boxes even when struggling a little elsewhere
  16. The RS average is not included in the team building total
  17. https://www.facebook.com/206016582752718/posts/5172151182805875/ Take a look here - one picture is titled "team in riding order" Doyle , Riss , Heeps , Batch , King , Rowe , Starke , Hume
  18. Just from reading between the line in various other threads it is more likely to be akin the the few mdl meetings we saw all those years ago Gradings using up to 8 points with No8 if used taking 4 of those It won't be every meeting with only around 6 likely in total
  19. Perhaps also look to sign riders prepared to put Belle Vue first rather than someone who only wanted to ride home meetings or another that prioritised Sweden......
  20. Do Boro have any great list of assets? Didn't the majority transfer to Poole with the Frost sponsorship some years ago?
  21. It hasn't been! Despite it being the biggest change in the scoring system for around a decade Just snuck into the regulations with a murmur Check out the thread in the general section. Only applies to the Premiership though I believe
