  1. That should bring a few back down to earth!! Looking for Ritchies positive spin then I'd say that if we can sort out not being passed off bend 2 then would be in with a shout Decent starts need to be backed up with decent first turns. Even after that you can get swallowed up unless you are right on the ball for the whole 4 laps! A convincing , dominant performance by the Aces
  2. I had thought initially it was but must be Denmark or Sweden
  3. I thought it was Poland that had ended for him but must be Denmark or Sweden
  4. Could read that as Tungate in subject to Louis approval (Director of BSPL) Joking aside the press release states the same for Summers. Just a formality surely?
  5. We needed to keep the heat in the season so bringing Tungate in should be the perfect move
  6. Sometimes a line in the sand and a fresh start , letting go of past issues , is a good thing A bold and necessary move that I applaud the club for and one they deserve to work out Welcome Aaron and welcome back Rohan
  7. Despite my own frustrations and falling out of love with the sports direction one thing I would never feel the need to question is the way the club individually has embraced and improved its media output and the effort that Chris and the team put in to make the Foxhall experience the best it can be for the fans
  8. There are 2 articles - the link in the thread is the Rohan one. They obviously have a mirror reference to the other but concentrate on the individual signing
  9. Top bloke Fully deserves to be seeing the fruits of his labour to put things right. An incredible amount of time , effort and determination to sort it out (and at no little cost!)
  10. Ipswich!! He is officially still declared as part of the side as the RS. Danyon is the No8 but in possession of the jacket We could've named Anders as the RS at 7 and Danyon in place of Ben but cleverly chose to keep Danyon at 7 and name Anders as a guest To qualify to be a guest you must be in a declared team and have an average lower than the rider you are replacing - Anders ticks both boxes! Again it shows how flakey the regulations are as no one had foreseen this situation which could not have arisen without this year's unique RS/Not set up
  11. Lots of heads buried in the sand (or up the backside of the promoters )
  12. It's always someone else's fault!! Bottom line is the buck stops with the promotion for a series of shambolic incidents Let's hope that the saying that things come in 3s is true and no more are to follow
  13. Anders stats in Poland seem healthy although can't say I'm up with the exact level of opposition 100 points from 55 rides - ave 7.27
  14. You're preaching to the converted. The regulations are as full of holes as a string vest. Application/enforcement is equally as flawed!
  15. The reg re 2 changes is within the transfer window The switch of Heeps was before the window so not relevant The double change is required to make the numbers fit as both are not like for like
  16. Just in time for a month or two at reserve where he can earn a whole seasons money in one go.....
  17. I'd imagine his Panthers teammate is actually very pleased with the result (heat and overall) but couldn’t and wouldn't say publicly
  18. A sensible call The place is for the reigning British Champion which is Adam as there was no result tonight Plus he didn't get his deserved chance last year
  19. It could be worth the admission money alone just to hear Kevin's introduction
  20. Always difficult being in the position of wanting to let people know but rightly respecting the source Hats off to Chris and the club for acting positively - it certainly won't be a case of wondering "what if"
  21. Don't disagree with that in principle And for balance even if you give Birmingham a month they are unlikely to be returning with a full team another requiring multiple guests and R/R With that in mind it's not a terrible decision for the short term The other part I would bring in from a wider angle is that it shouldn't even be Poole's decision to make. There should be a standard/regulation set for circumstances such as this which is then independently enforced
