  1. So with 2021 all but finished what are everyone's thoughts?
  2. Perhaps then we should be having a national speedway week or month....... It would obviously need to have at least a 5 minute slot in every msm news bulletin and anyone not attending a Speedway meeting in that time would be labelled as a narrow minded bigot
  3. Danny also using mechanic replacement tonight Get well soon Bruv
  4. I will still be there for more than many of the riders of some teams Just call me Jack.....
  5. Has been said 'a few weeks' If so he could miss more than Klindt wouldve done!! Very few options for replacement or guests - we could be fielding a team effectively 4 points under the limit on a number of occasions
  6. 4 way traffic light system in operation at the roundabout - shouldn't be too bad Won't affect me anyway - I'm at Thorpe Park. About to go on Stealth so I will be quicker than anyone at Foxhall tonight
  7. A number of weeks (and possibly Jordan too now) Unless a replacement is signed then R/R is the only option where no guests are available
  8. A tough start for Jordan - already struggling a little for form and now this! All the best fella
  9. Out of interest how often are the kerbs at tracks checked and signed off as compliant? Not suggesting anything is out of order in this case - just a general point of interest
  10. I reckon Crump will be gutted to be missing this and the Witches will miss him too 20 point+ home win with a real risk of another mega mauling for the Witches unfortunately
  11. I would day its a long season and early days yet....but......
  12. Some riders are just not a good fit for certain clubs regardless of their potential fit in terms of a vacant position
  13. All the best JC for a speedy recovery. Not the ideal start to a comeback!!
  14. Just seen a news piece saying he has broken at least 5 ribs and currently remains in hospital All the best JC for a speedy recovery
  15. Lots of links on the Facebook posts offering a stream. Obviously scams as there isn't a stream but one of the issues if the was would be piracy
  16. Would be taking a big risk if they did let additional in. Could easily have been council inspectors counting the numbers as they went in..... I'd say it was close to the limit for the BV meeting and a little less for the Sheffield one
  17. Foxhall capacity limit is 2000 at present Mick Aside from that you are correct - a meeting at Foxhall today wouldve attracted at least that figure without restrictions
  18. Can't be 1) He isn't unbeaten 2) He needs to re-establish a true average over the min number of meetings home/away (4 of each??)
  19. Wolves certainly hit the ground running at Lynn and unlike the Witches maintained that through to heat 15 Should be a comfortable home win - a point for the Witches would be a fantastic result
  20. It has been public knowledge since before the end of the 2019 season Certainly reported locally and confirmed in person by Chris Louis when asked by anyone who questioned him about it I don't remember if there were any pieces on national sources although granted there certainly wasn't any great fanfare It seems Buster made promises and guarantees but never actually got round to, or perhaps needing to, handing over any money or sign the required paperwork Ultimately it seems Buster NEVER owned Ipswich even at the outset of 2019 when everyone assumed it was the case However his word was enough to offer the reassurances that facilitated the move up and the continuation of the league so he can take credit for that As much as Buster doesn't come across in the best light, gets it very wrong at times and is lampooned by many you cannot doubt his commitment to Speedway
