  1. All the big decisions already sewn up in August Just a bit of tinkering around the edges (and some gerry mandering if required to shaft as required )
  2. Think the restriction on reintroduction is more to do with dropped riders than injured ones Plus at the end of the day they make it up to suit and just the use the "best interests" clause as a catch all should it be needed If the Witches want Riss in 2023 he will be there regardless of how any regulation is currently written
  3. A rider taken out of a declaration due to injury can be reinstated at any time later in the season
  4. I think this is already paying dividends with a potential sponsor noticing and being impressed Former Olympiam Tom Daley has said " Belle Vue are a perfect fit for me. My knitting appeals to the demographic in the stands whilst I feel great affinity with the diving on the track"
  5. Very sad news - thoughts with Phil and his family
  6. I'm sure they can refund a few quid to the couple of dozen affected
  7. Yes only a former GP star , World team champion , German Champion and track specialist reserve guest that can take his place...
  8. Just compounds the shambolic nature of how things are Pointless even running them if they are completely meaningless
  9. I'm hoping for a meeting that drags on a bit and ends level on aggregate Let's see if the curfew kicks in then and prevents the superheat to decide the title....
  10. It does make some sense for all the reasons above but also further skews potential averages unfairly either way Witches riders now potentially have an additional home meeting in the 10 match mix instead of an expected lower away score
  11. No surprise that under £100k for a full UK season doesn't appeal to many of the top boys really is it...
  12. But he only has to pop out once and he has done that. He is certainly capable of that and always seems to have the pace at certain tracks that plenty struggle to achieve
  13. No need to take me into account - I won't be there regardless
  14. There will be a puppet on a stick nominally fronting one club....
  15. Perhaps Belle Vues clever lawyer has challenged the asset system.......
  16. Had to be in the line up for the previous month declaration was mentioned before I'm sure if he wants to and Belle Vue want to it will happen though.......
  17. Phil has employed the Belle Vue legal team and 2022 will now last 24 months Also as they are Belle Vue they can call the leagues what the hell they like. Don't like it? - See you in court.....
  18. Well done for the balanced and intelligent level of debate you have managed here People will be able to draw their own conclusions as to which posters are childlike cretins and which try to discuss sensibly even when disagreeing
  19. And all promotions would've sat at the AGM and agreed that this is what was meant by by the regulation and signed it off including Belle Vue The fact that some lawyer has perhaps found a loophole in how it is drafted doesn't change the intention The other factor could be cost - had the BSPL contested how many thousands more would've been drained from the sport given Belle Vues decision to "go legal" Perhaps the monetary cost even to be successful in defending the decision just couldn't be justified Shame on Belle Vue (and may every plague on biblical proportions befall you )
  20. Yes and the reduction in sample size to just 10 meetings made this very much easier to achieve once Boro were out of the play off equation
