There is no way in the world it should have been called off … no riders or the referee even looked at the track …. To many riders these days can’t stand a bit of a tricky track because of the weather mainly Aussies to be fair Doyle , King , Brennan , Ellis and Thompson all overtook riders last night …. Even Edwards from the graveyard gate 4 rode around the outside on the first 2 bends to join Doyle ….. some riders wanted it and some didn’t Lidsey away from the vast open spaces of his home track is a gating tart and was never likely to pass or attempt to pass anyone I would have suggested if there wasn’t a GP next weekend then Bewley would have had a proper go at getting past Dan T but he was content to sit third Kurtz is Belle Vue captain ….. King said afterwards the pressure to perform as captain is high and Brady didn’t bother … shutting off all the time and even when he had the coveted inside gate he didn’t bother …. If your captain can’t be interested what message does that send to the rest of the team ? Let’s say Kurtz signs again for the aces … would any young rider look up to him knowing that when it comes to the crunch he can’t be bothered

At last?? We got there 2 years ago af would have last year if we had a fit Doyle and Emil but that’s speedway Oh I’m glad we in the final but it’s nice to have a pop at your opponents when all season long all we hear is how every track should be like Belle Vue yawn If it was Doyle who had a world championship on the line and he did what Kurtz did tonight I’d be fuming

Let’s say he made an effort and you got through to the final … then the Belle Vue fans would rightly applaud him .. so it works the other way ….. as I said you paid all your money all season to watch your team only to see them lose without so much as a whimper

You can’t in any way defend Brady tonight that was disgusting performance…. Pretty much the best gater in the world and never tried an inch … you watch him all season at home flying round the NSS and pay your hard earned money only for him to not bother at all when it really matters … He is also your captain … what team talk did he give at the start to simply then stick 2 fingers up to his team mates Yes our track isn’t the best and the weather made it much harder but true speedway fans know that makes it a leveller but Belle Vue bottled it badly Doyle showed how to ride it and Brennan and King and Ellis attacked it … the Belle Vue boys didn’t do anything apart from Blodorn and Cook ….

I don’t see how any Belle Vue fan can back what Kurtz did tonight ….. that’s not what a captain should be

It’s a disgraceful effort from Kurtz …. Gate 1 easily been the best gate and he didnt even try …. Shut off going round turn 1 and let Ellis go past Who will Belle Vue put in heat 15 Blodorn and Lidsey?

Twice tonight Ipswich been on a 5-1 and lost the re run to a 3-3

They aren’t useless but Zischke and Mulford not really up to it at this level For me Blodorn is your biggest disappointment

I doubt many Ipswich fans would go to Manchester on a Monday night with the home leg on Thursday and who can blame them … same maybe said for Belle Vue on Thursday they might not travel as it isn’t the final

Thing is it could be bad weather …. But Poole have done this sort of thing so many times that it’s expected and nobody believes them anymore A lot of Pooles titles are tarnished slightly and the constant bending of the rules to suit happens most seasons

You keep saying you are amazed the Aces won which is absolute tosh You have the world number 2 and 3 who fly at home and although they can score 28 they are usually good for 25 Lidsey and Cook are usually good for 16 between them at home That’s 41 which leaves 3 riders to score 5 between them to win at home I admit that bottom 3 are poor but to say teams should be winning at your track is garbage

Emil couldn’t get off the start and I don’t know why but the track was poor tonight and if you were behind against the top guys you ain’t catching them

Doyle and Emil average gone down and everyone else has gone up

I think the Brady Kurtz earlier in the season may have done more that’s all … not saying he didn’t ride well

I think he could have done more … just my opinion

I know play offs can be different but we have won by 14 and 22 in the league when both times Belle Vue used a tac sub which resulted in a 5-1 to them and no tac subs this time As an Ipswich fan if we lose this from here we deserve all the stick we will rightly receive

As expected Kurtz wasn’t exactly busting a gut or getting to close to Doyle there We surely can’t throw this away against one of the worst sides to visit us this season … but this is Ipswich lol
