Lets say Vaculik finishes 9th and Holder finishes 10th Who deserves the wildcard more? A GP regular who has been world champion 4 years ago and never needed a wildcard Or a guy who happened to win a round this year. Personally im all in favour of guys who have given something to the series over the years the opportunity to have 1 wildcard at the least. Lindgren has had his fair share and could be on the podium this year, nothing to suggest Holder couldnt do likewise. Riders like Holder , Zagar and Iversen have given plenty over the years so would hate to see them discarded for having 1 mediocre season. Would riders like Lebedevs and Milik do any better than those ive mentioned? Doubtful

Exactly. No idea why the Poole troll is getting his knickers in a twist. THJ is riding for BWD on Friday as BWD is riding for Peterborough. BWD could easily fall in that meeting BWD could pull out of the Peterborough meeting as not fit. If either the above happen and THJ does ride then nothing wrong in that at all. Im unsure why the troll feels that BWD will do nothing on Monday night? His home scores all season have been good, and surely better to have one of your own riders then a flakey guest. Wilson Dean from heat leader last time against Poole got 6+2 from 3 rides, so hardly think he is worried about dropping to reserve against them. Lets be honest Newman for BWD at Poole made no difference to the result so this should be no different.

After the poor season endured by Poole , and their fans celebrating the fact that they took advantage of a weakened Somerset side to scrap into the play offs, the true speedway fan will certainly be behind Swindon as they against all odds finished top of the league so deserve their rightful final place. Hopefully BWD will be back as Newman failed to get a race win in the first leg so BWD can make Swindon certain favourites. Oh just in case Shovlar, Gater1, Brandon Bob, Starman and Lisa weren't sure the above is called trolling or as you put it 'tongue in cheek'. Hopefully you can now spot the difference between that and an opinion! For the meeting itself I would expect the tie to be over by heat 12. Swindons top end strength should be to much for the likes of Kennett and Lahti. Kurtz isn't in the best of form either right now as his average performance in the riders championship showed.
