  1. Watch him come in leaps and bounds at Poole??? Oh you mean like Kyle Newman who pretty much kept the same average through his whole time at Poole and then at the first sign of him having a slight dip in form Poole booted him out of the door. Or do you mean the returning KK?? You were very vocal how well he would go this season..............guess the management messed that up Or do you mean Klindt??? Supposedly a high scoring reserve that hardly added anything to his average?? As ive said looks a good signing but is Poole the only club where riders come on then is it???? And yes i do have a championship team i support.....i was there last night thanks and a good meeting it was with Harris so good to watch. And you know i support Ipswich because when i was on holiday a couple of weeks back you went on the Ipswich thread asking where i was. Come on you remember......you went on the thread and didnt talk about speedway at all just your infatuation with me.......................then you politely got told to eff off the Ipswich thread by the other supporters............they dont take fools kindly you see.. And hey you never know we may just win that league and then you can come up to Foxhall, though we sell our speedway stars from the track shop we dont need a grown man freeloader to do it for us
  2. Decent enough signing on that average but he has loads to prove. Lots of Poles dont bring their form to the UK for some reasons and Woryna will do well to average 6 in my opinion. One race last night doesnt make him a world beater, all well and good saying he beat Zmarzlik but he also got beat by Lebedevs (who will make the gp's long before Woryna) Jablonski and Madsen. Good little rider on a decent average but Poole need to go out and get a big hitting number one
  3. i was at Ipswich thanks for your concern though. I'm just wondering that when Poole have won the league Matt Ford ' knows what he is doing' yet this season it's the riders fault. So it's good to know that if Middlo and Ford are not responsible this season then they obviously weren't when Poole won it either!! If a football team is poor the manager goes as he is responsible for signing the players and motivating them Yet somehow in all of this Middlo isn't at fault!! And who signed these riders??? Oh that will be Matt Ford!!! 5 times now this season including tonight plus I've recently been abroad......with my family.....I'm sure you could afford a holiday for one on the back of selling some comics....cretin
  4. Worth the admission money just to see Bomber blast round what a cracking heat 13! Shame about Sedgy clearly not fit so we need to sort it quickly
  5. So on one hand Pooles success is down to Matt Ford as a promoter not resting on his laurels and all other clubs would like a Matt Ford in charge he is the reason for Pooles championships. Yet now the team is awful that's not Matt Fords fault it's the riders!!!!! The sheer blinkered Poole fans are a joy to behold!
  6. Kurtz and Holder doing the business in Heat One and the expected 5-1 in heat two. Kennett and Lahti showing that they won't be there next year and now showing how Wolves are weak with r/r in heat 4
  7. True I can't believe Matt and Middlo have took none of the blame! Basically just blamed the riders rather than look at the bigger picture. Ford has already said 4 or 5 of them won't be there so why would they bother!! Get some average reductions going for when they leave Poole. Hopefully none of the Poole boys have read the article!
  8. he didn't exactly give Jack a glowing report!
  9. See you can make sensible posts If as expected Poole win tonight then i await the Shovlar 'against all odds' match report
  10. That Rye 1-7 looks very strong and if they can get in the play offs could be worth a shout
  11. Nope and did i say it always would? You can take past matches to give you a guide. Against Rye , Holder and Kurtz got 23...............this time 7 way off the pace, and nobody could have seen them being that bad and basically Rye having KK at reserve was always going to get things closer
  12. Doyle deserves a title , would have won it last year in my opinion. But Magic is right there obviously and it depends how he can handle the pressure come the business end. The good news is that for Poole fans they will have the World Champion riding for them next season if Magic wins............lol
  13. erm is it rocket science??? Sponsors and Matt Ford getting the sponsors...........good businessman
  14. By saying strong i would say the riders may not be as good as the years ago but there arent really any weak links in the 15 riders like there has been in the past. Any of the riders are capable of winning a GP i couldnt say that was true years ago.
  15. Doesnt have to have a stinker to be caught though does he? In 7 GP'S he has scored 6 twice, 13 twice and 17 twice and 16. Doyle in the first 6 GP'S scored between 10 and 15 until his poor last round. Janowski could easliy score double figures in his next 2 meetings and still be overtaken, and lets be fair he has scored 6 in 28% of the GP'S. I would say Doyle is the most consistent , but he cant afford to get another low score. One thing is for sure im lumping on Zmarzlik in the next meeting on his home track!
  16. Bit over confident that Poole will be top 4...Somerset must be favourites now
  17. Name riders not currently in the GP that will be better than any of the 8 who drop out?
  18. so you don't think Matt Ford pays big money to get the top boys in his team then?? I'm sure over the years the likes of Holder, Magic, Hancock and Lindback to name just some, don't come cheap. Poole have been able to afford and pay riders more than some other teams.
  19. I think Hancock will get one and if any riders in the series deserve another one i would say Iversen. I believe riders that have been in it a while and done well before and have won gp's should have that one opportunity as a wildcard. If Lindgren can get them so should Iversen, Lindgren been in great form this year and Iversen could easily do the same. Think Lindback to has shown enough to get back in, and Holder is also a past World Champ so maybe deserves one wild card to. But i cant see them putting in all 4 from riders this season, but the field this year is arguably the best ever so it could happen. Struggling to think who is better than Zagar, Lindback, Iversen, Holder, Pawlicki, Vaculik
  20. Yes it can obviously but this year you will have gone 2 years without winning it...that can quickly be 3 4 then 5. The fact there is hardly any teams, and that Poole have the biggest financial benefactor means they should always be in the top 2 or 3 every season
  21. Maybe not but i think Hans is one of the riders that has done his job, second heat leader , not a number one now. Trouble was he was supposed to be back up for KK, not back up for Kurtz, so in effect Poole havent had a third heat leader all season
  22. Poole should win this but how many times have we said that this season! Wolves record at Poole is poor Masters missing means r/r weakens Wolves. Brady had a maximum last time but admittedly Lindgren was missing. Starke is in for Bates so that strengthens Poole in reserve, i would expect the 2 Poole reserves to get 15 between then. Poole to win this by 7. Then we wait for the reports it was against the odds......which it wont be lol You can always look at the last meeting as a guide. Look who rode last time and who replaces them..simple Last time Poole 46, Wolves 44 Zengota, Newman and Bates scored 9 between them Will Kennett, Lahti and Starke score more than 9?................I would say yes, probably nearer to 16. Josh G, Riss and Masters got 15 between them Will Lindgren , Perks and RR get more than 15? I would say yes maybe 20 So looking at them changes alone Poole will be 4 points better off, thus winning by 6 not 2. I know the sport doesnt work like that but its about opinion............so as ive said in my earlier post Poole by 7
  23. But the loss of Newman had no effect on Pooles season...you got in Kerr who did well that Poole fans wanted him kept on, and then you got Starke in who has done as well as both. You beat teams like Wolves and Leicester without Klindt , and then with him you lost Belle Vue so again didnt make a drastic difference. Of course the loss of Kurtz has been huge but due you honestly think Poole would be higher or in with a chance of the league if he had been riding?? As ive said Swindon have had no Doyle and now Zach as well. Wolves have lost Lindgren, Riss and Masters, Belle Vue now having to make do with no Fricke All teams get injuries but they havent cost Poole the league in any way. Having an awful number one scoring between 4-7 a meeting and then replacing him with a failed number one who wont do any better is why Poole are in the trouble they are.
  24. Lol how arrogant....history shows we will be back next year.is that how it works. British League Champions 1994 Elite League winners 2003..................what happened in the intervening 9 years then??? Poole didnt win last season They wont win this season They could go years without winning again......
  25. So you admit your number one was crap from day one...............yet it was injuries that have cost you.......you are something else. Find me another Poole fan (apart from Shovlar and Gater1) who think its injuries who have cost Poole........you wont!
