Missing my point. Nielsen, Rickardsson, Crump, Pedersen all can be classed as legends and exceptional riders in that modern era. Tai isnt to far behind. Havelock was a very good rider, would i class him as one of the greats as he won a world title? No. He took his chance when it was there same as Muller and Jerzy. Loram and Gollob also only won one world title but in the list of true greats i would have Gollob then Loram and then Havvy Very good rider, but not one of the greats in my opinion

Said for years that whoever finishes top is the 'winner' the play offs merely just a money spinner. Cant remember the season but Poole and Peterborough made loads of changes and roared up to finish 4th and 5th, was obvious to anyone that because they could strengthen at the right time they would go on to be champions which was farcical. At least now teams have a cut off for changes stopping that happening. Maybe if its wet Poole could get Chris Holder in after his performance in the GP. Nobody deserves to be World Champion you have to earn it. What is factual is that barring injury Doyle would have won it last year. So in my opinion i would like him to win it for that reason. Why would any station show the league?? No top riders and even less next season. Cant blame them for pulling out of league racing and concentrate on the gp's. Doyle this season has seen that he doesnt need the UK, something all the top riders like Janowski, Woffinden and the others realised a while back

Poole are the favorites for this meeting, they are the in form team and Swindon are not. Poole to win this leg by at least 6 points................anything less will be a shock. Not that I can recall. 5 losses at home usually means bottom of the league but Poole ride against a few teams at the right time like Somerset away, and to the surprise of absolute nobody they held on to 4th. They go into the play offs as the complete underdogs due to the promotion getting things badly wrong over the season, and the neutrals will be supporting the other 3 sides en masse.
