button it i finish work at 6.30 - 7pm most nights. this means i dont see that much of my children as it is. £20 fuel and £18 entry plus food and drink and a programme, thats over £50 every week. I earn very good money thanks and i can easily afford to go. If you think im rushing around and not seeing my family to go and watch Ipswich v Berwick or Redcar then your are deluded. You may have a family but obviously your wife and children arent seen as that important to you and speedway comes first to you. i have one daughter who is a British Champion at the age of 7 and that take up a lot of my time and my eldest does drama studies. I would hazard a guess im far more educated than yourself, 3 A levels and a degree in accountancy, which i had to give up due to a bereavement but i guess you would mock that to , but i cant always disappear to Rome when things get tough. My children in particular come before anything, and i suggest you shut that mouth of yours before you come out with something else. Have a dig about speedway by all means but if you get personal it shows what kind of a man you are

ah as in chip on my shoulder very droll. i have no chip on my shoulder at all. had some decent discussions on this thread with decent fans..........shame Poole have the odd 2 or 3 to let you down

Hair splitting arguing. Brady Kurtz not performing well in Aus for the first 3 rounds - fact Brady Kurtz back to form in the last round and good to see - fact Brady Kurtz coming 7th in a seris he won last year is disappointing - fact No hair splitting arguing. Just a select few that dont debate things thats all. And no, speedway on a Thursday evening at Foxhall isnt my biggest priority but thanks for your concern
-
Just to simplify things............Max Fricke world under 21 champ..............Brady Kurtz Aussie champ..............thanks for your input Not sure why your referencing Sam Masters here. I go about 5 times a season...........got a family, work and bills to pay and live an hour from the track...........speedway not my priority thanks. So just for future reference.......your pleased i praised Brady................but you cry like a baby if i say his form has been poor?
-
Its a new track , do keep up. Did you notice my praise for Brady winning today? I guess not. Much easier for you to have moan when he is struggling rather than actually admit i do praise Poole riders How dare you say he had a poor series!! Lisa, Starman and Shovlar will be after you with their pitchforks!!
-
im sure he would be better off taking advice from a paperboy
-
Maybe thats why Kyle Newman performed better in the play offs as well then!
-
1. Kings Lynn 2. Wolves 3. Poole 4. Rye House 5. Coventry 6. Somerset 7. Swindon. Top 4 are pretty much sorted for me unless Leicester or Belle Vue come up with something out of the blue
-
strongest top 5 in the league just need the reserves to kick on
-
so you don't think Brady has been struggling so far in Australia?? Very strange. Fair play to the lad he came out today and ride superbly , the form that quite clearly has not been there so far. Hope he has his confidence back and can leave the series after a good win. Disappointing overall for him to finish low down though. Well done to Sam Masters , as I said only Wolves 3rd best rider. That's some heat leader trio for Wolves that will take some stopping yeah I'm so gutted Brady won. He has struggled so far in Australia yet you and a couple of your cronies failed to see it. Today was his true form and well done to him. Just to simplify things for some if you Brady Kurtz won the Aussie title last year. This year he was in 7th. He was struggling for form. Apparently that's not allowed to be discussed He showed his true form in the last round so leaves the series on a high. The fact is he finished 7th in a series he won last year. I hope he carrys on the form he showed in the last round if he is to be Pooles third heat leader Unreal how the usual select few cant debate
-
Brilliant from Masters
-
Just seen it but i cant comment because Brady is doing well so far lol. Bout time he turned up in these championships. Looking like Masters now for the title and he is only Wolves third heat leader, powerful top 3 they have
-
lol brownie points. i go on lots of threads so dont tell me where and when i can post i know he is so dense he cant even see it but we all get a laugh. Then he usually comes back with.........'just because i dont follow the sheep'.........no Starman your just not that bright! But as i said back to Coventry and it really is galling that a top league doesnt have the name Coventry Bees in it. As someone who started going speedway in the early 80's as a 5 year old (Rye House on a Sunday) the British League as it was then had an aura about it. These big sides with the big name riders that just seemed a world away from what i watched. The top league of speedway and the big clubs will always be Cradley, Coventry , Belle Vue, these sides had that mystique that others didnt for me. And next season we may see none of those at the tapes , and the top teams with not many top riders. What has become of the sport we all loved
-
You so miss the point and the discussion on every thing you post. Do everyone a favour and let the adults have a chat.........ironic that you cant spell clever! Lets hope something can be done and soon. The sport without its 2 biggest names , Coventry and Belle Vue, would hardly be a sport at all
-
looking for sympathy? From who and for what? I asked about Tungates form and had perfectly reasonable answers. On the Poole thread 3 of their fans spoil for an argument. No idea what you mean about sympathy!!!

sad news
-
4 or 5 pages of rubbish caused by 3 select members of the blue tints. It's so very simple. I asked if any Poole fans were worried about Bradys form in Australia. That surely is a reasonable question. Apparently I have no right to ask this. Any normal fan would have a debate and if the answer was they were not worried then that's totally fine Foreverblue discussed that he wasn't worried because Aussie form doesn't translate over here. That is what you call a sensible answer. Rayc also said he wasn't concerned as the season is 2 months away. Again that's how you answer a question. Then we come to Lisa who came up with the point I dislike all Poole riders....strange girl She and the other numpty have conveniently forgot that I've discussed other Aussie riders on other teams threads but as I would expect the fans of those clubs (like foreverblue and rayc) actually debate the point. By all means Poole fans you don't have to be worried about Bradys form But if your trying to say he is doing ok your kidding yourselves and that Starman and Lisa is how you answer a question
-
i wouldnt expect Jack to be challenging to be fair but Brady should be. seems some don't like that opinion and cant debate You want me to leave Poole fans to discuss Brady but yet you told me I should go to the Rye House page to discuss Davey Watt.......tad hypocritical there! Why cant Poole riders be discussed by fans of other clubs? Very strange attitude. As ive already told you. Ive discussed Masters and Pickering on the Edinburgh and Wolves threads. Ive discussed Watt on the Rye House thread Ive discussed Tungate on the Somerset thread Yet you have issues with Poole riders being discussed. Funnily enough this is the only thread where you cant have an opinion. You still haven't answered my question.....Is Brady underperforming in Australia? Im guessing if Brady was flying and leading it then you would be more than happy to chat about it. Oh and for your information fans of different clubs are talking about Todd Kurtz on the Sheffield thread......its called a forum you see
-
thanks. It's quite interesting when you go on the Somerset thread and you read the comments from other forum members about this 'Kurtz' debate. Seems the same few Poole fans wind up and annoy everyone and as someone points out its a shame that Lisa is now mentioned in the same breath as Starman! Also quite interesting on the Sheffield thread that their fans are discussing the form of Todd Kurtz. Guess it's just Poole that don't like discussing their riders form!
-
all I did originally was ask are they worried about Kurtzs form. I.e wins it last year and 7th this year. It's a question that can be debated yet for whatever reason they can't do it!
-
I doubt many would have placed Watt as high in the championship as 3rd at the start but i guess it suits your argument to say you would have. I asked after the first meeting if Poole fans were worried that Brady in particular had a poor meeting. Foreverblue and rayc managed to answer the question sensibly. I asked during the second meeting wether Poole fans were still worried about Brady although he had a better meeting. Both reasonably normal questions and funnily enough Somerset fans had no issue answering me re Tungate. I didnt ask Rye fans about Watt today because he scored average and he is a second string and why would they be worried?
-
Nope the only 2 added riders are Watt and Batch, and i would expect Brady to beat Watt. He won it last year beating everyone else so to be 7th is below par surely. And yet again you fail to read. Davey Watt is doing better than expected. I would have him down for 10 points a meeting at best so he scored 7 today but is still 3rd overall. Im sure nobody from Rye is worried about Watts form. Cant get my head around why you dont actually understand what im saying! Tungate has been very poor so ive asked the same questions on the Somerset thread, go have a look if you want. Yet funnily enough their fans know how to debate a point, rather than like yourself try and score brownie points by having a pop. Answer me 2 questions. Would you have expected Brady to be higher than 7th? Would you have expected Watt to be as high as 3rd?
-
No i havent sorry. Should i go on every teams thread and discuss their riders? Try looking a little bit deeper. Ive been on Wolves thread re Masters, Edinburgh thread re Pickering, have also been on the Rye thread re Watt doing well. Somerset thread as well re Tungate. With regards to Watt he is doing as i expected. Would never have him down as the winner of the whole thing so he is actually higher than i thought. Sedgy obviously is doing better than i thought, Masters and Morris are where i though they would be. Batch maybe higher and Fricke would have been my favourite beforehand. Davey Watt is a second string doing very well in oz. Why would Rye fans be worried? read my post aboce Lisa then see if you can come back with a constructive answer please. 1. Sedgman 46 (doing better than expected) 2. Masters 43 (doing as expected) 3. Watt 39 (doing better than expected) 4. Fricke 39 (slightly below expected) 5. Batch 35 (slightly below expected) 6. Morris 31 (doing as expected) 7. Kurtz 25 (as the defending champ he is performing below his standard) 8. Holder 23 (doing as expected) 9. Tungate 19 (doing way below expected) Those 9 riders are the only ones really in with any chance of the finals in the meetings. If you think one slightly below par performance form Watt would cause Rye House fans to be worried i would guess not. He isnt getting any better and is only a second string. Likewise Wolves and Leicester fans (if he signs) should be delighted by Masters and Sedgys performances. Likewise the Somerset fans must be a little worried about Tungate at the moment. Im sorry if your to precious to have a debate but when the current champ (a young promising rider on the way up in the sport) is only 7th (and not likely to go higher) then that has to rank as a disappointment. Im sure if Bartosz Zmarzlik drops down to 9th in the world next year then he will not be happy. For once it would be nice if you could realise that nobody is criticising your rider, just simply saying he hasnt performed in Australia so far. He may well fly in the last meeting and win it and i will be straight back on here to say his form has changed, but for now it hasnt. I thought Fricke, Masters and Kurtz would be the top 3 though i wasnt sure what order, but Sedgy and a resurgent Watt have been outstanding. And to yourself and the Poole fans who understand what im saying sorry for going off on one. Apparantly im not allowed to ask if your worried about Brady, and then nobody can seem to answer that without throwing insults. Surely most fans (Poole included) would expect him to have been higher?
-
Thank you. A Poole fan that can actually have a debate rather than just abuse. As defending champ, and a young and promising rider, he should be better than 7th. I cant see Fricke making up the deficit. The maximum is 19 which would mean Sedgy getting less than 12. It could happen but i think its Sedgy or Masters for me
-
Its called being at work. My PC is on all day but i cant post if i have customers. As i said i posted on the Somerset thread and no issues there. Its always the same if you have a differing opinion on a Poole thread to the usual suspects then you just get pounced upon
