Try looking up the definition of the word troll, you obviously dont have a clue. A troll is someone who posts to inflame arguments. You know bit like when you had a pop at my family. Name calling isnt trolling
-
Your up a bit late with school in the morning. Just out of interest do you ever comment on speedway or just enjoy trolling people? Nice to see that you have created a new profile and like your own posts. Surely decent Poole fans wouldnt want to be associated with a tool like yourself

Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 21/6/17
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Irrelevant again as to who started the meeting better. The fact you were 15 behind and took it to a last heat decider says it all.....................your boys were asleep in the early stages or simply took Swindon for an easy win and were caught out. Swindons top 2 are more than likely to outscore the 3 heat leaders for Poole and there in is the issue. Poole have a much stronger middle order and reserves. I also dont believe Swindon fans believe the match is won before its ridden, they just simply light the touch paper and stand back and see if they can catch one. Swindon went to Poole as underdogs.............and won............fairly...........no luck -
Nope Scoobydoo wrote that the season is over because he feels you will not get in the play offs and that reason is why crowds are down My argument is that in the old style 'top of the league wins the league' you wouldnt be able to catch Glasgow. At least this way you have an outside chance of catching Sheffield so why would you lose more fans with this method then the old method?
-
So what would you prefer?? Peterborough are 8th ...........and yes it looks a tall order to get top 4..........but its achieveable. If there were no play offs you are so far off being top of the table your season would have been over last month! Always amazes me those posts saying the season is over..............the old style was first or nowhere.........at least this way you have something to fight for. The play offs and teams being out of contention is certainly not killing speedway and attendances. So what you are saying is that in a league where top of the league is the champion the crowds would fill the stadium more even though you cant top the league......then they are doing right now when you still have a small play off chance?? Sorry thats rubbish

lol you say sheer and utter arrogance when clearly he had his rod out and you bit! Please enlighten me how when one team scores more than the other that they were lucky. Kurtz scored 8..........and? He is in good form now but his 8 points that night were all he score plain and simple Holder scored 7 which is what you would expect maybe 1 or 2 more. KK scored 6.........again what you would expect Made yourself look a bit silly with your response.......the better team on the night won -
i disagree...........Robert72 is more descriptive of that title Flange is just a little man/woman without a life other than to troll one person
-
oh my words bless you sniffy, mr nobody...........whatever you call yourself. im honoured that you feel you admire me that much that you decide to change your name and avatar to be like mine. one quick look on the profile shows your posts and who you are......................didnt think you like me that much. how old are you seriously?...........im guessing 9-12 age range........................because if you are any older than your a bit of a pathetic weirdo. Its good to show the true Poole fans what a prat you are ........well done
-
Spot on. Unfortunately when your name is being used for derogatory comments then i feel you have the right to respond. Some people are easy to deal with like Starman , as we all know he isnt the sharpest tool. But to put it simply Fred Flange is a vile little man/woman who seems to just get his kicks by following Stevebrum on every thread just to put in his comments. Yet to see he/she actually comment on anything to do with speedway. Guess he/she gets its kicks out of sitting in its room all day trolling the forum for the afore mentioned Mr Brum. Well aprt from having to pop down the local shop for a ready meal for one and a botle of wine/ lager And we all know the lies Robert72 weaves ......again someone not really worth responding to. Rode a bike once..........allegedly.............
-
Starman talking in riddles again!! I think in his own little strange world he is asking why Kyle was performing below par. I think he is then expecting the answer that he was injured. But then again who knows!

This season Newmans has had 4 meetings for Poole, and is averaging only half a point less than Starke. This while he was coming back mid season against fit and confident riders. He was likely to struggle However the rider replacing him is also struggling in the top league...........................i get Newman isnt riding to his capabilitys..............but to replace him with a like for like rider is very strange. Starke will come in and score between 5-8 most meetings..........something im sure Newman would have done. Poole ride Leicester next.............i can see Starke doing well in that and then everyone will say Ford was right

Went back to South Africa............was an absolute gentleman as well, one of the nicest guys you could meet And he passed away a few years back im led to believe -
Which are?? Think You will find that Starkes is higher than Newman or at the worst about half a point less. So why is this change being made? Just a quick look at you saying it was a bad decision to drop him...........but i agree with you and you say i know nothing..........priceless
-
Newman has had 4 meetings for Poole and averaged 3.53 when clearly not fit and not 100% Starke averaged just over 4 for Somerset. I would suggest that Newman would start getting around 6-7 points a meeting on a regular basis from his 4 rides. I never said i expected Starke to average 6 or 7, i would expect him to score aorund that mark from his 4 rides same as i would expect Newman to! The fact remains that an unfit Newman in 4 matches was only half a point behind a fully fit Starke Starkes highest score was 7 in all his matches...........even at Poole he managed only 4! Paul Starke for Kyle Newman is a like for like replacement Wind your neck in clown You have banged on all season about Newman being unfit You banged on about its the wrong decision to drop him............which i agreed with Now all of a sudden i dont know what im talking about when im suggesting Starke is a like for like replacement? Do us all a favour and keep it quiet......changing your mind like a tart
-
And? You lost the meeting because Ipswich were the better side pure and simple , no bad luck or falls Ipswich lost out here due to not being able to stay on the machines in scoring positions, something that is unlikely to happen again. Looking at the 2 meetings (and i was at the home match) Ipswich willl have nothing to fear over 2 legs from Edinburgh. Clegg, Davey and Mark Riss were so so poor at our place, they would need a huge turnaround in their ability to ride the track As ive said so far Glasgow are the only team to worry me in a 2 leg match
-
Kyle had 4 matches for Poole and his best score was 6 in a heat leader position. Starkes best score all season was 7..................you honestly think Newman wouldnt get 6 a meeting from now on? I will stand by what i said. If Starke bangs in 8 or 9 points a meeting then yes the change was worth it. If he is a 6 or 7 points a meeting (and this seasons evidence suggests he may struggle to get that) then it was a pointless change. He has an easy meeting at home to Leicester to start with so i would expect a big points haul You make it sound like i was the only one its laughable. I said Poole need one of Kurtz or Holder to kick on and grab a heatleader spot as Pooles top 3 (KK, Hans, Kurtz,) looked weaker than the other top teams. Please also provide evidence of me keep going on about Kurtz................let me answer you, you wont be able to. And Pooles top 3 are averaging less than Wolves by nearly 4 points and less than Belle Vue by over a point
-
Is Paul Starke a better rider than Newman? Nothing in it i would say. And no Kyle was struggling in that match but last week he looked better. If Paul Starke gets 9 or 10 a meeting then fine.......personally i think he will get 6 or 7 same as Kyle would have done. You only need to see how he was doing with Somerset As i said if Starke scores well then fine, but if he only gets 6 or 7 then why the change. Oh and please find the post where i slagged off Kurtz??? Starman has no idea what he is wittering on about you must know that. Critical of Matt Ford in sacking Newman..........now hoping people eat their words about Starke??? Very confused little man he is
-
Its nothing against Starke im sure of that. But if you make a change it surely needs to be to improve the team.......and in my opinion Starke doesnt do that Your missing the point Im sure Poole fans would have expected more from Newman but he is just coming back from injury and starting to score better. His average is better than Starkes in the same league so if he is riding crap why replace him with a rider whose average has been worse? There was no need for Poole to make the change
-
Considering we gifted away 2 5-0 in the meeting im more than happy with the performance. Gives me a feeling we can win this league, i can only see Glasgow being a threat over 2 legs. Lets hope they all stay fit and maybe this year could be Ipswichs year
-
Paul Starke no better and no worse than Newman. Newman has a better average in the top league this season than Starke, hence why Starke was sacked. Im all for improving the team but sacking a loyal rider who is averaging more than his replacement just seems foolish. Most teams sign riders to strengthen like Schlein for Skornicki and Riss for Clegg at Wolves. Poole have replaced KK with Zengota and Newman with Starke.........neither strengthen the team

oh bless you bringing that back up. are people not allowed to sponsor young riders then?? Is that how it works??? My uncle owned a company and sponsored or should i say helped 3 riders. 1 youngster who turned out to be rather good was one of them. Marks mechanic was a South African guy called Jorge who still lives over here and is still very good friends with us (though he is into moto gp more than speedway). He helped to bring over a guy called David Steen who rode many second halves at Hackney and again who my uncle helped a bit in his early days. In the mid 80's he also helped a rider called Kerry Gray who rode for Rye House. Thing is as a lying ex rider you wouldnt know any of these people -
Can see us keeping this close. We got through in the play offs easily enough. And we only have Danny King left from that side so i think we will keep it closer. King goes well there and so does Heeps Sedgy obviously should do fine Newman will be good for 6-8 Rory very solid The reserves though worry me
