  1. Like? Poole over the years has always been a fair track, its only the last few years that it has become a bit of a joke. Holder hates the track but bet your life he will go well around there. Poole when prepared properly is a good track. Sadly those days are few and far between
  2. They do for sure. True greats can ride all tracks and speedway isnt just about having fast big tracks. Watching Mark Loram fly round Bradford and then be majestic at Eastbourne shows true genius. Ward was the same at Lakeside
  3. Maybe but his last 4 visits have been 14 (from 7 rides), 9 (7), 7 (4), and 3 (4) all from reserve so he would do well to get 8 from 4 from the main body. Yes he attacks the track, maybe should pass some info to KK, Kurtz and Holder
  4. Poole were probably the worst club for not helping to bring Brits along. Lets not kid ourselves if Kyle Newman had improved his average he wouldnt be kept on. Holder, Watt, Ward, Tungate, Josh G, North, Dyer. All Aussies that have helped Poole to gain success. Then Poole would employ riders like THJ, Darkin, Swist, Eriksson, Davidsson, Gafurov, Andersson, Mrockza, all riders who they wanted to use on low averages to help them get the ultimate goal of the title. Also to a lesser extent Milik and Madsen. The lack of Brits used is low, Ashworth, Howarth, Kennett, Boxall, Ellis, Starke are the ones that come to mind that Poole moved on asap. I have no issue with teams using foreign riders but Poole are the worst team in helping British youngsters so its a bit strange that a Poole fan started the thread!!
  5. Lol As i said the Poole riders are more suited to the NSS then some of the smaller tracks, as proved by their poor showing at Wolves (and no Newman helped Poole as they got from 8 from his r/r rides) I would expect Poole to keep it very close in Manchester but win by more than 12 at home.
  6. Mate your one of the decent ones that support Poole unlike 2 i could mention. My issue isnt with Poole just the 2 fools. The UK needs Aussies and Poles and the like to keep it alive. Im sure Shovlar would rather have had Harris than Holder and Nicholls rather than Ward! As ive said where is Adam Ellis and Kyle Howarth and the like that have ridden for Poole before? Cast aside for Aussies.
  7. Bit rich this thread being started by a Poole fan. They have a journeyman Dane who is nearly 30 at reserve , how is that good for the young Brits. Seem to remember them as part of a side rebuild they got rid of Kyle Howarth and replaced him with Mickey Dyer. Where is Dyer now? Also havent Poole gone with Kurtz and Jack Holder over Adam Ellis?
  8. oops making yourself look silly again. Guess you can't have read Col's posts!!! Nothing like making yourself look silly!! If Wolves are so bad how comes they easily beat Poole at Monmore??? Leicester must be a better side than Poole then!!
  9. What because i dont suffer his idiotic statements and the fact he just abuses anything i say about Poole?? Call me bad tempered and call me a pain in the ass but dont tar me with his level of stupidity. I was on the Poole thread and i raised the following points: Will KK be commited? The fact that Poole away could struggle on smaller tracks like Rye and Wolves. The fact that riders like Kurtz and Holder will probably be better on the bigger faster tracks. That i fancied Poole to beat Belle Vue over the 2 legs of the upcoming cup tie. He literally just abused me without actually reading anything i had written. So yes the man destroys most threads and yes i give it back as i cant suffer fools. Also goes missing if Poole lose or something goes wrong like at Darcys meeting............Starman abused Belle Vue for what happend there yet vanished when this farce happened....a coward and an idiot. Back to the thread an as expected i thought Rye would nick this one and Wolves likely to prove a tough test. Can see both sides challenging the top 4 but feel one will miss out as i think Kings Lynn and Belle Vue are certaintys. Then Pooles home form will see them through and then 1 space left for either Rye or Wolves
  10. I think if Holder and Lambert ,in winning the first major trophy, and Batch in the form he is showing, keep it up then Lynn will be hot favourites. Rose and Porsing are slightly weak but when you consider the Lynn top 3 is a lot better than any other team then that negates that affect. Also in Huchenbeck they have potentially the strongest reserve in the league. Kings Lynn or Belle Vue for me.............the only problem with Belle Vue is the lack of home advantage as everyone loves the track
  11. Brady Kurtz was flying at the NSS last night. As I said the track would suit him unlike Wolves or Rye. I expect Poole to win this over the 2 legs
  12. Dont say that! Ive been blasted for saying Pooles top 5 are a worry on smaller tracks like Wolves or Rye House. Funny how the same people dont mind me saying that the same 5 riders would be better at the NSS!! Oh and i also said the NSS is a track that might not suit Klindt...............they didnt like that either! Cant believe you have the audacity to have an opinion lol
  13. lol KK not inconsistent is the biggest wind up surely! 5 points at Monmore then on Wednesday didnt he go 0,3,3,1.. Well he is consistent 5 and 7 I suppose!!!
  14. And the award for talking out of their backside goes to Shovlar for the 20th season in a row
  15. The first major trophy goes to the Stars and seemingly well deserved. Appears Doyle cleared off in the semis needs to learn to team ride better it seems. Could be the first but not the last trophy Holder picks up. Add Batch into the mix and a top reserve in Huchenbeck they look the 1-7 to stop
  16. thats your opinion on KK which your entitled to have same as I'm entitled to have mine. I even said on the Pairs page I think Jack and Brady could do ok in the pairs so please tell me again how I'm against Poole. If I have opinions that Poole will struggle you turn it into an agenda
  17. Think the Poole pair may surprise a few people tonight can see them making the semis on that track
  18. Come on then please show me what ive said that is anti Poole????? Oh sorry i think KK might not be commited.........a thought that even some Poole fans worry about. I applauded Shanes and said i think Poole will beat Belle Vue!! Come back to me when you have an answer........jeez Nice to see your post was liked by Starman and Skidder lol Ive praised Poole yet you still fail to see that...your a joke mate Thanks fella. Its ok its the usual 2 that are the issue. I actually praised Shanes and think Poole will beat Belle Vue but yet its still ant Poole stuff!! Maybe my opinion on KK and Poole might struggle on smaller tracks has upset them!! I think the NSS will suit Shanes and also Holder and Kurtz and KK. Hence i fancy Poole to do well there. On the other hand i can see the same 4 riders struggling at Monmore and Rye for example. To be honest it could be that Klindt will struggle at the NSS more than some other tracks but over 2 legs i will expect Poole to win. Not sure how thats anti -Poole
  19. Cant help myself with what? I said Shanes had a great start whats wrong with that? Ive said i fancy Poole to beat Belle Vue over 2 legs as the track will suit some Poole riders, whats wrong with that? Poole may struggle on the technical tracks? Poole will never have a better opportunity to beat Wolves at Wolves but didnt, whats wrong with that? I expect KK to be unreliable, whats wrong with that? Tell you what how about you try and discuss things like an adult.......something your intellect doesnt allow Oh and i guess your not aware that Kyle will be back in 4-6 weeks .............guess Ipswich are quicker at informing their fans about their riders!
  20. As ive said it was a great start from Shanes and must do his confidence wonders but to hail him as the next big thing is premature. One meeting in effectively a pre season challenge against inferior opposition doesnt elevate him to this pedastal. Bewley and Smith are better riders but i would expect Shanes to love the NSS Thats the only issue with Belle Vue is that the track is a proper race track and there is no real advantage, the likes of Holder and Kurtz should love it and over 2 legs would fancy Poole to win as Belle Vue havent had a meeting yet. Poole will struggle on tracks like Rye, Wolves and Leicester and go well at the NSS and Somerset. They should have beat Wolves at Wolves the other week but the top 5 were poor KK is as unreliable as they come and i would be stunned if he didnt miss more than 5 matches. 2 on Good Friday is just the start
  21. Thanks. My only gripe with Poole is the 2 supporters that quite clearly are on a different planet to everyone else and the odd 1 or 2 that jump on that bandwagon and i admit i lose my temper but i struggle with fools Check the Poole thread out someone called Sniffy had a real go because i said i dont think Poole will win the league! Apparantly as they beat last seasons champions then i have to say they will win it! Anyways back onto Wolves and the issues could quite clearly be the reserves but if they can get that right and Adam fit then no reason why Wolves wont challenge
  22. Im not a Wolves fan, my team are Ipswich, but i read all threads. You im afraid are on a one man crusade against Wolves. Kind of boring and repetitive and usually with no substance
  23. Great start to the season. Shame about Kyle but good to have Sarj back. DANNY: leading by example as always SARJ: Good return though would have been disappointed to be beat by Carr. Score 6 or 7 at home will do. NICO: Damaged his number one bike on Saturday and the second one wasnt as good but bounce back last night CAM: Doing his job but wont always be as easy as last night RORY: Top marks, good trapper and so smooth out there. Be good to see how he goes away from home DANYON: Great opening night and a couple of mistakes last night but looking good. Big test will come away CONNOR: Gating was there Saturday just didnt mix it. Much better last night. So a great start but lets see how we go away from home. But it will take a very good side to win at Foxhall this season, only Glasgow would worry me.
  24. ah got your knickers in a twist!!! I don't think Poole will win the league is that ok??? Am I allowed to say that??? Can I have that opinion???? So so precious down Dorset way. So because I think Kings Lynn will win it it's called predictive snipe is it!!! Do me a favour pal. And yes it was a shield but it's a bit like the charity shield in football.....nice to win but means nothing at all In the scheme of things. I think Poole will make the play offs with ease but I don't think they will win it. Sorry if that upsets you very strange
  25. Love the Poole fans moaning bout Holder!! Couldn't do any wrong last season lol
