so he might not be 100% fit but he is fit enough to mix it on the under 21's so he should be fit enough for his club especially as Poole not got a meeting for a while. Then again he is riding in the main body so would struggle anyway. I'm not buying the fact he is 'crocked' just merely not 100%. Newman is crocked

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Gavan replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
for gods sake man will you effing well get it in that numbskull head of yours!!! It isnt an opinion to say that the reason he didn't ride in the British Final was because of the dates of the semi final!!!! IT IS FACT and you are either trolling by keep bringing up the final or your just an idiot so you tell me which -

So you think that he decided not to ride in the semi finals in the winter when he had no idea what the dates were??? Strange line of thought. Though i guess those of you who dislike Tai will try any angle to get a point across even by making up things regarding a riders state of mind last winter! -

Another one that doesnt listen or read posts THE BRITISH FINAL IS NOT THE PROBLEM IT WAS THE TIMING OF THE SEMI FINALS!!! -
why long term? surely its guests every meeting where away from home you can pick horses for courses. Worrall, Auty , Wright, Starke all riders who could come in and score what Newman did if not more. But i would like to wish Kyle Newman all the best and hope to see him back on track soon never nice to see a rider injured

for someone that apparantly dabbled a bit in speedway you really come across as thicker than thick because your lack of knowledge is outstanding Im not sure if you realise that during the World Cup ALL speedway in the leagues stops thus giving plenty of time for ALL riders to get there equipment here. So are you thick or a troll and still you bang on about the British Final!! You have been told loads of times the issue was with the semi finals. Please if your going to be so thick and not read then dont post!!!!!!!!! -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Gavan replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Nothing to do with not being willing. 1. It wasnt offered as himself and Bomber were told that if they didnt do the semis they wouldnt get a wildcard 2. Tai, after saying he would miss the semis, then said he wouldnt take a wildcard if offered as it wasnt fair on the other riders who rode in the semis -
He isnt irreplaceable at all and Ellis isnt crocked. Newman not been that good this season and other good riders are out there. Get them excuses in for the title favourites Should be more concerned at the form of Kurtz only 3 points at a track he should excel at

Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Gavan replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
He couldnt have done the semis he has no bikes in this country and Bomber did both but he isnt likely to be World Champion. Tai has no choice to ride in Poland before Cardiff as he is contracted to do so. If you read the press or the riders reactions they are up in arms about having to do Poland it isnt just Woffinden. Contracted to ride before a gp in Poland is completely different to riding in the British Semi finals -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Gavan replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yes he was and so was Tai, which makes it al the more confusing as to why King was given one. Tai quite rightly puts the world title before the British Final and tells the authorities he wont do the semi finals The authorities then said that if you dont do the semis you wont get a wildcard Tai said he wouldnt want a wildcard as it wasnt fair on the riders who rode in the semis -

Gavan replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Tai told the authoritys he wouldnt accept a wildcard as he didnt ride in the semi finals therefore it wouldnt have been fair on the riders who did the semi final. He wasnt offered a wildcard anyway so the point of accepting one is irrelevent. Tai didnt pull out of the British Final he pulled out of the semi finals, why people still do not understand that amuses me. -

how many times do you need to be told about the British Final??? It's quite pathetic that you still keep using that when you have been told the reasons why he didn't ride. I will tell you for the last time and I would like a response from you. The British semi finals were around a Gp weekend so Tai quite rightly didn't take up his place. He then told the authoritys not to give him a wildcard as he felt that one of the guys who did the semis were more deserving than he was. So if you can get this inside that head of yours it was the semi final dates that were the issue and Tai felt he would cheat other riders by getting a wild card. So Tai DIDNT snub the British Final. -

I insult you because you display such a lack of understanding or knowledge of how contracts work Wozniak would have his licence stopped by the Polish federation if he rides for Leicester Tai doesnt have a contract to race for any club in Britain so your post makes absolutely no sense Lol yet again you knowledge is so poor you really need to have a look at how contracts work because you are making yourself look daft I will remind you yet again that TAI DOESNT HAVE A UK CONTRACT!!! So the authorities in the UK can not demand he do anything You think Tai is a multi millionaire are so far wide of the mark that your laughable pal. If Gollob was on a million a season it certainly wasnt from his club , it would have been made up of endorsements and sponsorship and being the highest profile rider in Poland I agree Tai does nothing for British Speedway apart from put the sport into the National press everytime he wins the world title. There are others that are not Tai fans but at least they have some intellect unlike yourself. Very bitter sad individual arent you -

You sad little man. Are you thick and cant read or just plain ignorant. The British Final wasnt the issue it was the timing of the Semi Finals. You have been told this countless times yet pathetically you choose to ignore it. Tai himself said it was disrespectful to the riders who rode in the semi final that he should get granted a place in the final when they had ridden in the semis and he hadnt, so he said he would decline any offer to ride in the final. Do do us all a favour because for 59 pages you have spouted the same utter claptrap and nonsense at people, and now just go away. -
Saturday night just cemented Bates position in my eyes. British under 21 champ should carry some kudos when it comes to the reserve pick especially as we have nobody who would be capable of stepping up and mixing it. The fact he made the semi finals just adds to the point he is quite clearly the best choice. On to the main team and the fact King won the title should carry some sort of Kudos as well but this is the main team not a reserve position that it doesnt really matter who we choose. If we (rightly) assume that Tai Cook and Lambert are in then the final place is still open and possibly between 3 and at a stretch 4 riders. King - Winner of the British Final on quite a tricky track. Form this season has been patchy. Is one good meeting enough to guarantee him a place? Has rode in the World Cup before and not done much. Nicholls - Been there seen it worn the t shirt at international level but is on the downgrade. Had a decent enough British Final and has beaten King at Belle Vue in every race they have met. Elite league average higher than King as well Harris - Same as Nicholls seen it and done it before but on the downgrade. Always gives 110% and never let the team down in World Cups. Had a shocker of a British Final and hasnt yet gone well at Belle Vue. Again better than King in the league Steve Worrall - Outside bet but unlikely. In flying form, loves the track and had a good British Final but maybe just lacks something for this level. Personally i think Nicholls would do better than King. Would we all reckon Worrall or Starke should be in if they had won the British crown? For me we need to look at more than one meeting in my opinion. Just a footnote im making the trip to Foxhall this Thursday as Newcastle are in town so should be good. What i noticed in this PREMIER league meeting is that the British Number 1,3 and 4 are all riding (King, Lambert, Worrall). Then next month the British Number 2 visits (Cook). Just shows how far the talent has dipped since the 90's when it was tough for any premier league boys to even make the final!

it was interesting yes. Bates scoring 10 coming back from a dislocated shoulder and Ellis scoring 5 coming back from a broken collarbone. When they met in heat 10 Bates comfortably beat him. So this season Bates has made it to the British Final, become British under 21 champion and then in the first round of the World under 21 scores double what Ellis did and made the semi finals. Wether you think Ellis is the better rider or not he cannot match what Bates has done on the track this season. Whoever the reserve is will not matter as neither are good enough but on what he has achieved it has to be Josh Bates.

Bell Vue V Wolves Friday 17th June
Gavan replied to rainman's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
bless you as soon as Shovlar posts his little lapdog is there to back him up such a lovely couple And Belle Vue favourites for the title!!!! You chuckle brothers are either trolling (shovlar) or just thick (Starman) . Latest odds Poole are ODDS ON at 4/5 and Belle Vue 100/30. So how do you make Belle Vue favourites??? Oh no that's right you don't know what your talking about! If Poole don't win the league it's choking on a large scale -
Bates has been racing with a dislocated shoulder so neither him or Ellis are fit. or if they raced in the final of the British Under 21 final where Bates left him well behind

When you can understand the rules then come back on and have another go. Masters riding would have meant r/r for PK which would have meant he poor Wolves reserves getting more rides thus Wolves probably doing a lot worse, but then again it seems like you like to try and troll on any thread. You and Starman on another thread!! Must be getting worried that the title is heading to Manchester -

so enlighten me then? You really believe that just because you had a go at the sport that by making a tiny donation to the Ben Fund you should be able to get in where you want???? There are hundreds of people who tried the sport and werent that good, respect to them for having a go but farcical if you think they deserve free entry. Oh well done for mentioning Tai again its been a while i was getting worried about you History of British Speedway!!!!!! You think anyone who 'had a go' played a part in speedways history!!!! Ive heard it all now mate you are priceless
