There is a lot of elite league snobbery from a minority on here. Don't understand why people don't realise you get good and bad meetings in both leagues. The Berwick meeting was poor but the Glasgow one was good lots of close racing and great team riding on a rain affected track. I've seen some garbage elite league meetings many times mainly from Lakeside or Poole. But it's funny how the snobs feel fit to judge the premier on only 2 meetings

Maybe lakeside understand the need to get meetings raced in time before the cut off. One small crowd and a victory will be compensated if they complete their meetings in time and then have a packed house for a play off match. Need to look at the long term gain

what a load of rubbish! The elite league has plenty of poor meetings yet you choose to ignore them. Correct on Monday it wasn't great but you need 2 teams to make a meeting. Last night was what speedway should be about plenty of atmosphere and some good racing despite the weather.

At least not all elite league fans are snobs glad to see some enjoyed it rather than expect 20 passes per meeting. There was some good close racing, ok not many passes but the weather played its part in that. Cracking atmosphere which is the norm at the majority of premier league tracks ive been to (unfortunately my club Ipswich lack that) and a bumper crowd. The doom merchants obviously expected more. And whats wrong with Ayres celebrating?? We have a lack of characters in the sport now so good on him. Don't remember to many Poole fans moaning when Zetterstrom did his dancing! Unfortunatly the elite snobs judge the premier league on a meeting on Monday on a hard track to pass with poor opposition and tonight on a weather affected track. Seen plenty of dross on sky in the elite league!!

Lets hope that by not putting on any home meetings in June doesnt come back to bite Poole on the backside trying to fit fixtures in at the end of the season. Would be a crying shame if they missed out

Provide me with the facts of me twisting my words please. As ive said all along Newman good little rider, not improving much more and isnt as good as Garrity. So if your so adamant ive twisted words then provide the evidence please.

Fair comments as always. Just a shame some of your own fans cant debate properly. Kyle is a good young rider as ive said and despite other people thinking different its not a Poole thing You say you would prefer Kyle than Garrity but what if Kyle had to ride at 2 same as Jason? Personally i think Garrity would score a lot more but as you say Kyle is liked at Poole and that counts for an awful lot as well

Thank you for being a sensible Poole fan who can actually think outside of his own club. I apologise for the tone of some of my posts but they are aimed at your fool of your club not the decent Poole fans. Speedway fans can all see the truth that Newman is a very good young rider that hasnt progressed the way it was expected. Injuries have played a part but only a small part

ive never said Kyle hasn't had a serious injury. What you are clearly missing as always Starman is the whole point of the debate. Kyle Newman has ridden at Poole for 6 seasons In all that time he has been as a reserve According to the Poole oracle Mr Shovlar Garrity is a liability Yet Newman has had more time out with injuries Jason Garrity has made numerous British Finals. Newman has made none Jason Garrity has been reserve at the Cardiff GP. Newman not even close Jason Garrity is a premier league heat leader. Newman isn't. Jason Garrity is holding down second string position in the elite league. Kyle Newman isn't. Steve Worrall is now British Number 4. Kyle Newman isnt Steve Worrall is holding down a place in an elite league top 5. Kyle Newman isn't Steve Worrall is a reserve at the Cardiff GP. Newman no chance Steve Worrall is a premier league heat leader. Newman isn't Adam Ellis is improving Paul Starke is improving. If you can find any good answer that Newman is as better than Garrity or Worrall I would like to hear it. If you say he is injured that's not a good argument, totally irrelevant. He has stood still and watched riders like Garrity and Worrall move away from him and I would say Ellis and Starke would be ahead of him if selecting English riders

He hasnt so much gone backwards as simply stood still. In the premier league he has dropped to a second string and in the elite league he has seen riders like Garitty and Worrall leave him behind and riders like Ellis and Starke improve up to and possibly past his level. It tells a tell that for 6 seasons now Newman has been a reserve in a league that is getting weaker each season, so you would have expected him to have move on by now. Good little rider but never going to amount to being any better than he is now really

like a broken record it wasnt a good meeting and yes probably the worst on tv this season doesnt mean that premier league is crap racing!! You get crap meetings at elite league level as well but funnily enough you dont mention those. Poole v Belle Vue wasnt much good because the track was the worst track ive ever seen.

your the first numpty to complain when Sky go to lakeside or wolves and we get crap meetings! Pooles ploughed field doesn't offer good racing either. Typical elite league snob who doesn't give a stuff for the sport as a whole. One bad meeting on sky and anyone whose team is in the elite league jump on the bandwagon. There are crap meetings in both leagues! This wasn't good but to say the elite league always is better racing is complete tosh

Yep Newman been mopping up all season in reserve for the 6th year running and then spends a whole week at heat leader and is just marginally ahead of Garrity. So thank you for proving the point that Garrity is the better rider. Oh and check out the premier league if you need any more evidence Bit like Nicki Pedersen used to be, and currently a bit like Peter Kildemand. I guess Newman is better than them as well because 'they are an accident waiting to happen' . Your post is irrelevant as to who is the better rider. come back when Newman has made a few British Finals or got to Cardiff as reserve or averages over 6 from second string or is a premier league heat leader. Until he does all of those isn't as good as Garrity. More stylish doesn't make you the better rider

Nope quite clearly you are weakened by this change. Nice trolling attempt to gain a response though. Starke for Newman is like for like at Lakeside, Starke outscored Newman there last season. Nemwna got 15 there the season before last against a reserve pairing of Kyle Hughes and Luke Bowen so not really a true reflection. I have mentioned this meeting but it has conveniently been brushed aside.
