  1. Wackies post clearly stating 5 years service to British Speedway so in what way is Leigh Adams ruled out??
  2. Your spot on, a schoolfriend of mine James Harper used to play for Reading and got them promoted and scored goals in the Premier League and he has to pay wherever he goes. Its down to the clubs and i believe you have to be classed as a club or speedway legend to gain free entry and even then its the clubs discretion. As British World Champions , Havelock , Loram and Woffinden should be able to go to any track and expect not to pay. At my club Ipswich i would expect Loram Louis(although promoter so doesnt count) Doncaster (machine examiner so again doesnt count) to get in for free along with Hare and Jansson for obvious reasons. Others who could would be overseas legends that dont live here like Sigalos and Cook. When Hans Nielsen came to Risagers testimonial he didnt pay he was like a guest of honour. Personally i dont get why all ex riders should get in for free, thats a lot of mediocre riders that can just go every week free of charge and what did they put into the sport?? Im sure Robert72 can answer why he feels he should get in free
  3. Yeah Leigh Adams hasnt put in 5 years service to British Speedway. Your posts are hilarious
  4. yes if Ellis was British under 21 champ then he would deserve the spot even if the final was at Poole. Your saying Josh had his home track well Belle Vue is big and fast as well so I'm guessing he could probably beat Ellis there as well.
  5. im an ipswich fan mate! Being british champ was a great achievement but we need the best 4 we have and is that King? The reserve isn't an important position as whoever we choose isn't good enough so give that to someone who has earnt it
  6. Far better and more accomplished??? Bit extreme. Have an opinion by all means but dont go over the top I would put Bates in ahead of Ellis based on his performances in the British Semi Final qualifying for the British Final and actually winning rather than coming third in the British Under 21 Final. It may ' be beyond you' why i would choose Bates but then whats the point of being under 21 champion to get no reward for it?? Neither will score a point unless its gifted to them so give Bates the reward he deserves.
  7. Danny King is British Champ but that doesnt make him a better rider than Cook or Lambert yet everyone seems to want King in the team Going along with that train of thought Bates surely deserves his spot ahead of Ellis But lets be honest whoever is reserve will score zilch
  8. On what basis do you have Nicholls scoring 4 or 5 and King 10?? King would be up against a quality that he has failed at before. One good meeting in tricky condiitons doesnt in my opinion put him automatically in the top 4 should be Bates not Ellis. Bates finished 8th in a British Semi Final and is the current Under 21 British Champion beating both Ellis and Lambert. How Ellis deserves the spot ahead of Bates is beyond me
  9. Nicholls doesnt have it in him anymore? Is this the same Scott Nicholls that has finished in front of Danny King EVERY time they have met at Belle Vue this season?? Nicholls is decent enough to be the 4th rider ahead of King though if it was King i wouldnt argue I get your point but the Aussies and Swedes arent stand outs in my view. Tai is better than Holder and Lindback Cook isnt as good as Doyle or Lindback but could around his home track be more than capable of beating them and Holder for that matter. Lambert is as good as Fricke and on his day could beat Lindgren (though it is Frickes home track. Nicholls or King are as good as if not better than Batchelor/Masters and Nilsson especially at Belle Vue So with great home support im sure we could have qualified for the final if we needed to
  10. It's a joke these Tai dislikers that haven't the intellect to actually see the truth. The British Semi Final dates were the issue but as you say the people with their own agenda won't listen
  11. he doesn't speak to you anymore then?
  12. you are on of the decent Poole fans mate never have an issue with you even if we disagree as you have the intellect to debate.
  13. ha ha thick as hell you are. trolling is posting to try and wind others up. You put the post on about Tai you clown
  14. Who cares how much you seen someone ride??? Tai moved to Australia by his parents at the age of 4 and moved back at 15. These were not his choices. He grew up in Australia so will hev made many friends there and of course has an affinity with the place. He is British, his family are British. you dont have to like him as a person but only an uneducated imbecile doesnt see him as British
  15. And you my friend are a complete fool. Nice pic of Ermolenko by the way. Hmm lived in the UK didnt he? Thought he rode for USA??? Spot on its only the usual Poole suspects and Robert72 and then this newbie who cant get their head around facts bless them
  16. Still think that last spot is up for grabs between King and Nicholls. You say King is better than NIcholls round the Belle Vue track? He hasnt beat Nicholls there in 3 races so far!! For me Danny has struggled this season. Not one person on here would have had King in their team before last night and does one good meeting on a track that ultimately suited him, make him an auto pick over Nicholls? Im an Ipswich fan and would love to see Danny ride but im also a Team GB fan and on the day would King outscore Nicholls? Jury still out for me
  17. Yes Bates struggled last night but whoever rides as reserve (bar Lambert) would struggle against anyone else. For me Bates is as good as if not better than Ellis so as Under 21 champion in my view he deserves that spot. Lets be fair either Ellis or Bates if needed would struggle to get a point
  18. If there was total flexibility on the reserves then Lambert at reserve would make total sense. However they can only replace an injured rider so he is wasted at number 5. The track last night wasnt exactly dry so many people immediatly jumping on who should and shouldnt ride. Im an Ipswich fan but even after last nights performance i dont think King is a certainty. He only did ok there in the league meeting on a dry track beaten twice by Nicholls and twice by Cook. He looked good in the dirt last night but is he ahead of Lambert and Nicholls for a place? For me the only 2 certaintys are Tai and Cook. After that we have 3 riders for 2 places , King, Nicholls and Lambert. Nobody else in my opinion should be considered unless injuries happen and then Steve Worrall is next in line. The reserve should be our under 21 champion who likes the big tracks and thats not Adam Ellis!
  19. I think he thinks that Tai will be racing 5 nights a week lol He only rides for one team in each league therefore 2 nights and maybe the odd time 3 nights, hardly over the top
  20. Why are people banging on about his schedule??? Of course money and the glory of being World Champion is his motivation why dont people get that?? He missed the British Semi Finals because of their proximity to the GP'S He isnt seeded so therefore misses the final. He wants to be World Champion and the best riders ride in Poland and he is contracted there so he wont miss that. He has no need to race in the UK against premier league riders.
  21. The difference between the elite and premier is closer than it has ever been , quite obvious when you consider most of the premier league guys ride in the Elite league. With the exception of a few, its all about the standard of opposition that provides the entertainment not what league it is.
  22. Yes i can see the newspaper reports and sky sport news writing all about Janowski or Holder winning the World title. Or just maybe if a British rider wins it for the third time thus making him a legend of our sport, there might actually be some big write ups in all the national papers, and there might actually be quite a big focus on it on sky sports??? No i see what you mean.....lets hope Janowski wins it so nobody reports on it! Got to laugh you have one person liking your post and thats Robert72 the forums biggest idiot, must make you happy when he likes what you write
  23. Dear oh dear its like talking to a couple of school kids who dont seem to understand what people post! Hate is a very strong word, to hate someone is a harsh opinion To say 'Tai haters' is a description to group together a group of people who dislike the guy and his actions. I like the way you try and be pedantic to try and win an argument that only a few are trying to win. Ok you dont 'hate' Tai, what i will try and do next time is call you a 'Tai disliker' would that suit you better? just a quick sample of your love and affection for Tai So stop giving it the big one and asking for proof that you dont like Tai. Im still waiting for proof by the way that the riders in the British Final all get paid differently as well please.
  24. sorry my sides are splitting from laughing to much! 51 pages into this thread and you want proof that people dislike Tai!!!! Hilarious!!! Have a quick scan over all of Robert72 posts for a start and tell me if you think he is a Tai fan then!!! Comedy gold asking for proof!!!
  25. He is joint top after 3 rounds and hasn't hit top form yet. Hancock will be his biggest threat but can only see Tai getting stronger as the series goes on. Lets hope we have a 3x World Champion for the UK how amazing that would be for British Speedway
