Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 23/5/16 Sky Meeting
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thoroughly totally enjoyed that result!!! The track lol. Every fan in the land has been saying how much of a disgrace it is. We still here week on week from the usual suspects that its ' the greatest track in the league'..............laughable and an accident waiting to happen. People have a pop at Tai for not riding here.....well Poole fans im pretty sure you must be getting hacked off with half hearted efforts from Holder. The away teams reserve beats him comfortably!!. He is hardly trying but then again riding on that track he isn't going to risk anything at all is he. Steve Worrall proving yet again he is the best reserve in the league. Kurtz needs to learn the throttle works both ways, just winds it on when sometimes you need some finesse. No surprise to me that apart from Worrall the 3 best riders were Nicholls, Andersen and Bjarne, guys who have years of experience of riding all sorts of tracks. Biggest laugh of the night.............Middlo thinking Brady should have been in the re run after hitting a rider not once but twice Second biggest laugh........... the Poole crowd were silent.....Shovlar says it wasn't a big crowd..........Poole fans often go 'missing' when the team don't do well Third biggest laugh............... Cooks exclusion.....the only person who thinks he jumped was Shovlar!!.........you need specsavers!! I would like to add fair play to Shovlar for praising Belle Vue. -
Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 23/5/16 Sky Meeting
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
stop talking drivel man. at best they are on a par. Kylmakorpi may score 5 tonight and cost you the meeting but to say Buck is MUCH better rider is just way over the top Joonas last time at Poole beat Holder twice and Andersen once, 2 riders who are better than Buck. And you say Buck would get 10-12 easily tonight??? From heat leader???? Ok mate whatever Its only took Newman 6 years to become a second string!! Buck would get double figures riding at 4 as he has been, riding at 5 he would do well to get 10 And for those of you who still say Buck is the better rider over the 2 meetings Poole v Wolves this year , Buck has 17 from riding at second string and Kylmakorpi 21 from heat leader. Joonas is the better rider....fact. Granted at Poole they score similar. Cant wait to see what happens if Joonas gets 6 or 7 FROM HEAT LEADER and Poole fans think Buck would have got more!!!!!!! -

Kylmakorpi is a better rider than Buck, typical Poole getting excuses in just in case. Buck riding at second string and Joonas is a number 1 end of discussion course it strengthens you!!! Joonas is a number 1 this season and Buck is a second string. Averages are the same. It certainly doesnt weaken you in anyway. But then again we are used to the same old boring guff before every Poole meeting One of the best tracks for racing lol usual trolling i see -
Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 23/5/16 Sky Meeting
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole should win this by 20 i would say. Anything less is a poor showing. Strengthened by having Kylmakorpi. The only letdown is having Bjarne at 5 but more than made up for the fact the the leader of the world championship is riding as a second string in the weakest elite league ever so if he doesnt rack up a huge double figure score then he isnt putting it all in for Poole -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?

Poole Pirates Vs Belle Vue Aces 23/5/16 Sky Meeting
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
depends if the current leader of the world championship can be bothered as he hasn't been commited so far -
wow well even for you that's a staggering response! Check out the top riders on the world and a handful ride over here. Last years top 3 didn't! I'm a West Ham fan so if France play England guess I should be cheering on Payet because he plays for me team??? Not a chance! I'm English but I guess only in Poole that the club comes before country
-
Why? I never supported Rickardsson and Gollob over Louis and Loram ever!! If Rickardsson and Gollob werent up against a Brit then yes i cheered them on. Surely Wolves fans would rather Tai win a final rather than Freddie? If Tai wasnt in the final no issue with supporting Freddie
-
Yep i agree that you can get behind who you want. But in a run off for any title between a Brit and a Poole rider then there is no way the club rider should be supported. World Under 21 final Lambert v Kurtz in a run off. Any Poole fan who supports Kurtz in that race would amaze me. Nothing wrong in Poole fans wanting Holder to be world champ but not at the expanse of a Brit
-
surely you want the brits to qualify first rather than an Aussie??? then again Poole fans would rather see Holder win the title than Woffinden so im not suprised. Never understand club before country. When Rickardsson and Gollob rode for us i didnt want them to beat any Brit at all, even ones i never took to like Havelock and Dugard. Surely you want Lambert and Clegg to qualify ahead of Kurtz????

Ipswich V Edinburgh Pl 19-5-16 @ 7-30pm
Gavan replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If we lose this to the worst Edinburgh side I can remember them there is no hope. Masters will get double figures and to a lesser extent Fisher and Wolbert.R/R for Riss shouldn't get much. Jye is way out of his depth and the bottom end is poor. We should comfortably get 50 points tonight -
Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 18/5/16
Gavan replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole fans arguing amongst themselves ....priceless! It did rain....it didn't rain.....will it rain......if I'm honest the only sensible posts seem to be Mr Shovlar....yes I did say that! -
clear??? Massive 2 point lead. He has had 2 consistent gp's and will soon be passed by Tai, Hancock and a few others as the season goes on and he tires himself out riding everywhere. Let's see where he is after round 6
-
The answer is Scott Nicholls never has but Chris Harris has done 3 of the last 4. Waiting for Robert the troll to moan about our 7x British Champion not riding in it?? Oh and no World Champion has ever done it.
-
ok lets ask the rest of the people on this thread who they believe is the biggest fool on here?? Personally you would win hands down
-
didnt say we would definatly win just that Edinburgh are as bad a side as we are
-
sorry mate i just get annoyed dealing with fools
-
You are a poor team same as us. Fisher passed it and a young Aussie that cant score a point in the main team
-
you sad sad man. Tai grew up and rode against Darcy for many years in the COUNTRY WHERE THEY BOTH GREW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course he will want to raise money for his FRIEND!! How many more times you pathetic little weasel do you need to be told that Tai was BORN in the UK to BRITISH parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he chose the UK to further his career did he, mate you need to get out more. Go through the riders that Tai was up against coming through from Australia, basically Holder and Ward and maybe Batch. Fact is Tai was and is better than all of them so he didnt need to go anywhere if he didnt want to. Do us all a favour and take your pathetic crusade elsewhere you complete t0sser Thats exactly how it should be. By all means dislike a rider but the absolute brain dead that dont call him British obviously are not true speedway fans
-
no you have it all wrong! Listen to Robert72 man! Tai lets down British Speedway by not riding here. He shouldn't want to be world champion when he can race in the Elite League. He should copy Iversen and race everywhere and be towards the bottom. And he should really have ride in the British Semi Final like Harris. That way he could have rushed to Warsaw and not practice just like Harris did. That way he could have got a lot less than 14 points but hey he wouldn't have let down the Uk
-
what a twit you are using Crump! Crump had Aussie parentage you buerk. He was born here because of his dad racing here. He considered Australia his nationality as thats where his family came from......which is exactly the same as Tai he chose to represent the country of his parents and family the same as Crump did!!! Your the idiot pal as pointed out by many you are a sad pathetic person
-
100% mate its only idiots like Robert72, this polish twit and the dinosaur speedibee that somehow think he isnt British
-
you almost spelt your user name correctly shouldnt it be t0ss3r
-
The track has a big part to play but surely that isnt the main reason. King - has been woeful so far struggling to hit double figures even. When your number 1 is only getting around 8 points your going to struggle. Sarjeant - so unpredictable, one week looks good the next a novice. I would persevere Kerr - if he misses the gate thats where he stays, maybe something to do with his injury so a bit of leeway but needs to start to produce. Risager - for me so far our rider of the season. Been doing his job since the season started Covatti - struggling at Foxhall due to track prep but not setting the world alight away. Paco - well the lad is coming good shame that apart from Morten everyone else is strugglin Richings - sad to say but out of his depth and needs to go. Our 1 and 5 should be able to plunder the points in heats 13 and 15 but they are really struggling for form In the last 4 matches they have scored a combined total of 12, 16, 7, 15. Thats nowhere near good enough from 2 riders who should be having 10 rides between them a meeting. This means they are struggling to achieve 2 points a race. Risager has banged in 11, 7 , 10 and 8 in the same meetings , solid second string scoring. Our top 2 are struggling, Kerr and Sarjeant to inconsistent and a really poor number 7 means we are deep in the brown stuff!!
-
So i see you still banging on about this. you are on very very very sad pathetic man who has to keep putting this out there. just so your thick little brain can compute: Tai was born in England to English parents Who when he was young emigrated Tai grew up in Australia Therefore he will always have Australia as a special place to him. He grew up in Australia His friends therefore are Australian He rides for Team GB He gives absolutely 110% when riding for his country His goal is to be World Champion and his schedule shows that. He does a lot of stuff for the sport in the uk Now lets look at you: Sad pathetic weasel with a chip on his shoulder because your a failed rider. TAI WOFFINDEN IS BRITISH! You dont have to like him personally , i never took to Havelock, but i cheered Havvy on in 1992 Do us all a favour and shut the hell up with your constant Tai agenda you look very sad. Let the genuine speedway fans back and support the fact we could possibly have a 3 times BRITISH WORLD CHAMPION
