  1. ah bless. try asking other Poole fans if i can debate on a Poole thread and they will agree that i can. The trouble is that there are the usual 3 of you that embarrass yourselves and your club on regular occassions. Look at the pathetic immature posts from piratespiratespirates! You banged on and on about this meeting then you come on here writing absolute tosh once you have won. Take a look at the thread im not the only one to point this out. And if you also check the thread i have congratulated Poole on their win, to those fans who actually know what they are talking about and didnt moan like a child before the match and then act like a moron after it.
  2. ipswich are struggling but I have no idea how that's relevant to this match. Tut tut you know the rules!!
  3. spoken like a proper speedway fan. Well done to your team mate. I also thought you would get beat. Shame 2 or 3 of your fans let you down
  4. they make themselves look stupid but it's fun to watch. And one of them was singing bless him! Poor losers are also poor winners and yet again that's the case. Funnily enough it's always the same 2 or 3 Poole fans who embarrass themselves. Most of the Poole fans are decent folk. You can spot the sensible ones. They didn't post moaning about a so called farce and they haven't come on here afterwards singing songs and making prats out of themselves
  5. ah ok then. Just the same old poor attitude of certain Poole fans. Moan and moan about the match then cheer like schoolboys cause they won. Very very sad
  6. oh dear you are making yourself look a real t0sser. But hey keep going it's funny
  7. no it's ok it's much more fun that tiu have made a d1ck of yourself with all your posts on this match
  8. how old are you 12!! Your not a true fan obviously or you wouldn't have called the meeting a farce. You and Shovlar making yourself look like idiots to the rest of the forum is great fun though
  9. what a pathetic set of posts from so called fans of their team. Then they come on and start gloating when they win! Hope the Poole 7 tonight read what their fans thought of them. Disgusting
  10. ah I was playing spot the t0sser and I found you you think Newman would have scored 16 plus 1 then tonight!! You only support when your winning quite pathetic
  11. call yourself a fan?? Slagging off the fact that the match shouldn't have happened and how weak you were! Your guests easily outsourced what Kurtz Buck Hans and Newman would score. Pathetic pre match comments and then cheering the win. Poor attitude
  12. As I said earlier Poole able to have horses for courses. Starke scoring more than either Newman or Bjarne would. R/R for Hans so far 9 out of 9. And Kurtz and Buck hate the place. I don't get the negativity from Poole fans. So if they hold on and they go on a victory parade nobody to applaud them. Poole fans only support their side if they think they will win
  13. Well shame the Poole fans didn't go along and support their team who currently are winning. Ellis and Starke showing me to be right when I said they had improved past Newman.
  14. I get what you are saying but Lakeside dont have an alternative. They have 2 choices: 1. Postpone the match (which they said they tried to do) then have Poole come back full strength and possibly get the points that stop Lakeside form making the play offs or 2. Run the match against a weak Poole side and hopefully get all the league points. This will boost there play off chances and lead to a minimum of 1 play off match with a large bumper crowd which could lead to a second bumper crowd should they reach the final. Option number 2 would make much more financial sense. Have a small crowd tonight but gain in the long term If they postponed tonight they might either not fix the fixture in or risk not getting the points. I can see why people are up in arms but its obvious why Lakeside want to run the meeting. Im sure if it was Poole at home they would run 100%
  15. Never understand why teams want 'bragging rights' surely the fact that Lakeside will or possibly should take all the points is the only important issue. I have a friend who supports Spurs and he lives and breathes for their results against Arsenal (and West Ham). He openly taunts us if Spurs beat said team but then come the end of the season they are always behind Arsenal!! Would you be bragging if Poole win at Lakeside (full strength or not) but then ultimatly dont make the top 4? One match means nothing in the context of the whole season.
  16. and in my previous post i alluded to as much. The thing is he stated quite clearly that he didnt want a wildcard and he clearly stated his reasons. He might not have been bothered after the farcical dates of the semis so instead of saying that he came out with the wildcard statement. The fcat is we will never know that answer. But for some to say the facts were that he couldnt be bothered is absolute tosh and calling Tai a liar basically
  17. Lol really is that a fact is it?? No its your opinion. The facts: Tai declined to compete in the semi finals due to the dates they were arranged for clashing with a gp weekend Upon withdrawing he also announced that he wouldnt accept a wildcard as he felt it wasnt fair on the riders who had done the semi finals. He was NEVER offered a wildcard to ride in the British Final. Your OPINION is that he never intended to ride in the first place. Please back that up with some sort of statement from Tai then please otherwise you are simply putting words in his mouth to try and back your claim. Then again you maybe right, Tai might have woke up one morning in say February and just decided to miss the British Final because he felt like it. Funny how nothing was said until the dates for the semis became common knowledge!
  18. Correct as he didnt do the semi finals he said it would be unjust to get a wildcard when the other guys had raced the semi finals. Playing devils advocate he may have said that so it deflected away from the point that he might have turned one down anyway. However the fact remains it was the semi finals that were the issue, something that for some on here is hard to understand as they keep wittering on about him missing the final
  19. Nope but missing the semi finals that were the same time as a gp weekend, and then not accepting a wildcard because he felt he didnt deserve it , could of harmed his chances. 79 pages in and people still think him missing the final was the issue when it was the semi final dates that were the problem.
  20. We all know what old man Muddlo is like. His mouth engages before his brain. Matt Ford has come out publicly and said Lakeside tried to move the date but couldnt. At the end of the day Poole agreed to the fixture knowing riders wouldnt be free. Tough luck im afraid Nobody wins but what would Lakeside be expected to do.? They havent had a meeting for ages and there is a cut off date for fixture so if the postpone this then who is to say they would get all their fixtures in. Lakeside have a huge chance to reach the top 4. Have this meeting with a low attendence but the long term gain of a play off spot outweighs that.
  21. The gate will be 30000 and I would guess 29990 will cheer Tai on along with Bomber and Danny King. Your going to get a few d1ckheads turning up and booing him. Guess you fit that bracket
  22. the quality of the elite league riders? Apart from 4 or 5 riders they all ride premier league anyway. Lawson , Summers , Worrall, Masters all quality riders. There are some shocking meetings on sky in the elite league and if you think last night on a wet track should produce great racing then your talking rubbish. There are cracking meetings in the premier as well as the elite your just to much of a snob to realise
  23. There is a lot of elite league snobbery from a minority on here. Don't understand why people don't realise you get good and bad meetings in both leagues. The Berwick meeting was poor but the Glasgow one was good lots of close racing and great team riding on a rain affected track. I've seen some garbage elite league meetings many times mainly from Lakeside or Poole. But it's funny how the snobs feel fit to judge the premier on only 2 meetings
  24. Maybe lakeside understand the need to get meetings raced in time before the cut off. One small crowd and a victory will be compensated if they complete their meetings in time and then have a packed house for a play off match. Need to look at the long term gain
  25. what a load of rubbish! The elite league has plenty of poor meetings yet you choose to ignore them. Correct on Monday it wasn't great but you need 2 teams to make a meeting. Last night was what speedway should be about plenty of atmosphere and some good racing despite the weather.
