A better manager will make the same riders do better, not world beaters no but better than the world cup shambles stop talking out your backside. its an analogy if you know the phrase or go get a dictionary. A better manager (in any sport!!!!) will make the same team do better through skill motivation and tactics . We are now on 16 pages of a thread where all but 2 people say he should go but you keep flogging your dead horse. What everybody is saying is this: Kennett was a bad choice. its not just about picking a better side! That's a blinkered view! It's about getting the best out of what we got and he patently doesn't do that. It's like telling Wenger to manage Scunthorpe he won't make them premier champions but I bet they do better!

Rosco and all the other managers would love a top 2 of Holder and Ward using Matt Fords money. it cant be that hard to build a team around those 2 can it!! but look at the awful team he put together this year. The only reason Poole are were they are is because Ward got injured and the side could be strenghened!! Middlo isnt fit to lace the shoes of someone like Pete Adams. if you think Middlo is good at getting a team gb team to gel and bring through youngstres and get the best out of the boys then my word you are far off the mark. let him mange poole with the aussies and poles it suits him

i get what you and others are saying that nobody else couls have done better with the riders at his disposal. i agree we are what we are but its very short sighted in my opinion. Im a West Ham fan, put Mourinho in charge and its likely that he will get the same 11 players to perform better than Allardyce. Why? He is a better all round manager, tactics , morale and so on. A different manager with the same squad would probably do a better job. Most of the camera shots on our team showed no spirit at all. That i afraid is poor management The tactics were shocking. That is management. Please can we stop using the excuse that he did his best with a bad bunch!

why do people keep saying doesnt matter who is in charge we couldnt have done better! i agree but it isnt about 'doing better' Why then do football teams who are struggling sack there manager then? they will still have the same players and wont suddenly become Man United overnight! They get rid of the manager because the team and tactics arent working. The personnel dont quite gel. Sometimes with a new manager the same 11 players perform better. Middlo clearly isnt the most tactically aware manager and i cant really see any spirit there. Im not saying a new team manager will suddenly see us up there with the poles and danes we dont have the riders thats obvious but to say Middlo is doing ok because of the riders at his disposal is a very short sighted view. What people are saying here is that none of the bottom 6 in the premiership should sack there managers because the new manager will only have the same players to work with!! ok in football you can bring in a new player but a struggling team isnt going to get a Messi or a Ronaldo same as Team Gb isnt going to find a Ward or Pedersen.! A new manager will bring fresh ideas and hopefully boost morale. Times up for Middlo and let someone else have a crack

so picking kennett when the whole speedway community knew it was wrong. dropping Cook. picking barker when its known that he isn't that well liked. putting Tai in on a joker against hancock who was flying and replacing our second best rider! team moral was shocking the buck stops with middlo and the bspa. team should have been tai, bomber, nicholls and king. stop giving the crap excuse nobody could do better it doesn't wash. yes we don't have a pool of riders that will do great but if that's the case then why do crap football teams sack their managers? they aren't going to become Man Utd overnight and the players don't change but usually a change of manager in a football team sees new moral and an upturn in fortune. we are stale under middlo, let him go back to poole where he only has aussies and poles to worry about. we need change to inject a boost into this country

the buck stops with the bspa and our useless team manager. Tai, Nicholls, Harris, King. that's 4 riders that in all probability would have got us through, so the reasons they are not there are down to the bspa and Muddlo. To pick Kennett when 99% of the speedway world knew he shouldn't be there was shocking. Rightfully gives Cook his chance then dumps him on the scrapheap. Then replaces our 2nd best rider to put Tai in on a joker against the best rider of the night in Hancock!!! Does he actually watch the meeting? We have no team spirit whatsoever and that buck stops at the managers door. Im an Ipswich fan and we all know Barker isn't liked by Bridger and Woffy so don't pick him!!!!!!!! Well what a chance we have now that North is riding! He shouldn't be anywhere near a World Cup team so we had a gift here and need to take advantage of that. North is an elite league reserve and even in a poor team this year hasn't got onto the main body. I would have Watt or Woodward over North all day long. Be interesting when Barker and North meet!
